Twenty-four year-old Theodore Marsden, known to everyone, his sister included, as Mars, owns and runs the Old World Social Club, as well as two other East Brooklyn/Queens County businesses: a shipping and (illegal) imports company and a series of waterfront warehouses. Mars is a toughened, ambitious young man who spent his youth on the streets of Brooklyn after his parents disappearance while he was a child. Originally from Rhode Island, Mars and his sister
Evelyn were left to a family friend who lived in Queens, but were both soon turned over to the state. He spent a few years at a Queens mission before getting involved with the juvenile crime scene and ultimately leaving. Mars is not without goals as he plans to eventually become mayor of the city of New York, and works at pocketing all the right local people now, so hell have a stronger backing when the time comes to advance politically. Mars has a razor sharp sense for business and rarely hesitates to draw blood when things get in his way. Although he fiercely dislikes any Conlon loyalist, hes set an agreement with him: dont mess with us and we wont mess with you. This parallels his general rule of "You take care of me, and Ill take care of you." |

| Mars strives to appear well groomed and alert, thus makes a point to always be seen in fine, well-tailored clothes, and generally expects the same of anyone else who works in the club. Hes clean-cut with clipped, biddable light blond hair and astute, narrowly almond-shaped brown eyes. Mars is moderately sized at 511, with a fit, athletic build. | |
| Relationships: | |
| His parents were presumed dead after not returning from a trip to Greece, but is still in regular contact with his sister Evelyn, who he still supports. Lucas remains his best friend, and Mars is godfather to Lucas son, Slate. His other close friends are limited to San, Jamie and Jordan, and he is engaged to be married to Dalliance DuBois. | |
