the bottom!draco emporium
there are a few brands of bottom!draco. we will discuss each of them:
of course!bottom!draco:
this draco is smaller than his partner, extremely effeminate and ... well, OOC. this draco pines over his lover, and may be spotted cross-dressing at some point. he could be horribly whiny, bossy and demanding or very loving and misunderstood and weepy. this draco tends to be found in epics, veeery rarely do you see this draco in a one shot. he goes hand in hand with either spoiled!draco or abused!draco. someone in a story with him will wear leather pants. probably by draco's insistence. that's just how it goes. he's a lot of fun to read if you're in the right mood, and, even better, this stories are usually full of graphic BUMSEX! :D
^__^ you can find some of the best examples of this draco here and here. i call this draco of course!bottom!draco because ... well, of course he's going to bottom. i've read only one story with of course!bottom!draco where he did not bottom, and that was because the writer was completely insane.
by chance!bottom!draco
this draco isn't really bottom. he just happened to get caught up in the moment... there isn't really any deep point in the fanfic to his being bottom, they're both equal. the good by chance!bottom!draco's are almost always top, though. -_- so it's a rare find-- unless you're reading a snape/draco, of course.
any coupling where draco is younger, or a lot smaller, tends to either have by chance!bottom!draco or fighting!bottom!draco, minus the fight. by chance!bottom!draco is usually very smart and either loves his father or hates him. if he's spoiled or abused isn't usually much of an issue in fics with him in it, unless that's the entire theme of the story. by chance!bottom!draco is passed around equally through out the one-shot, epic and short story communities.

fighting!bottom!draco
hmmmm, fighting!bottom!draco is yummy. this draco fights, as he thinks of himself as a topper. but, his partner also thinks that of themselves. this draco tends to be the same size as his partner or smaller, and the bottoming definitely has a point. i've read two main themes of this: draco finally realizes that he's loved, or he has to surrender himself to his partner. these fics are almost always one shots. fighting!bottom!draco almost always has a fetish to be topped, although he'd never, ever, ever, ever, ever admit it, until his partner figures it out.
if the relationship he's in has been relatively monogamous and even the smallest bit caring, the sex will take place in a bed, most likely out of hogwarts. if it's just a spur of the moment kind of thing, it will take place in a abandoned room somewhere in hogwarts. cold or cool stones will be mentioned at some point.
this is going to be a BUMSEX fic, otherwise the point the other is trying to make will probably be too vague.
i've only read one fighting!bottom!draco fic where the relationship was stable, and it's hinted at that draco is the usual bottom, and that's simple love with a complex touch. because my friend is insanely talented.
psychotic!bottom!draco
psychotic!bottom!draco has problems.
his daddy didn't love him. or if he did, it was in a very wrong way. bad lucius!
he usually thinks that love means pain, he tends to want to looooooooooove harry. harry usually doesn't have anything idea what's going on-- he has the idea that draco's a little twisted, has he'll say some pretty weird things, but he won't see the axe until his head's off his body. ;_; poor harry. psychotic!bottom!draco usually doesn't think of himself of being mean or evil, even if he doesn't think what he's doing is nice. these stories are usually one shots and ANGST. ANGSTY ANGST! a big fat angst party, with a big fat angst cake-walk right now the middle of your forehead.
of course! there's the psychotic!bottom!draco that just wants to love and be taken care of. this draco is usually paired with psychotic!top!harry, and pyschotic!top!harry is not very sympathetic towards pyschotic!bottom!draco's plight. ;___; he can be paired with a normal partner, and then it's a happy story. :D <-- happy. anywho.
i've never read a psychotic!bottom!draco story that wasn't a one shot. anyone care to share?
