Hogwarts Camp
After almost a year of waiting, our end-of-the-year camp is almost upon us!! As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, the theme this year will be Harry Potter, and it promises to be our best camp to date! Your daughters will be whisked away to a weekend at "Hogwarts Camp," where they will take classes in subjects such as Herbology, Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts, battle some magical creatures and maybe even play a little Quidditch! Whatever else happens, fun, excitement and adventure are guaranteed!!
Place: Milnes Landing Campsite, Sooke (map and directions will be sent home closer to camp)
Drop-off: 7:30pm, Friday, June 15th (please ensure that your Brownie has eaten dinner before you drop her off)
Pick-up: 1pm, Sunday, June 17th (parents are asked to stay and help clean up, so please don’t plan on rushing off at precisely 1pm)
Camp Fee: $30
Transportation: Parents are responsible for the transportation of their daughters to and from camp. However, the leaders would like to know who will be picking up each girl on Sunday. This should be specified at the meeting the Wednesday before camp.

A pre-camp parents meeting will be held Wednesday, June 13th, at 5:15pm. See attached newsletter for further details.

I give permission for my daughter, _______________________________, to attend 8th Victoria Brownies’ Hogwarts Camp, June 15-17th, 2001, at Milne’s Landing Campsite, Sooke. She will participate fully in all camp activities, including hiking and outdoor cooking, and she will do so in the true spirit of Guiding and accept the rules of camp. I agree to send any medication she requires in an original container with clearly marked name and instructions. If I am not home on this weekend I will advise the leaders of a contact phone number.
