| Hi Wes - here is quick article for the website (April 2002): The Owls are still busy developing their ticket items. Other adult scouters in your troop/packs can be of great help in the effort. Use those resources. Woodbadge training has already helped Chris in working with the Pack 631, Den 4 Bears. At their 4/9 meeting, she taught them two of the basics of the Patrol Method: 1) Never leave a patrol member behind, and 2) Use each other's strengths to make a great team. The Bears came up with skits to illustrate the points. It was alot of fun for all involved. |

As for a blip from me to post (just use this): Chris checking in (8/22/02) At roundtable the other night, we watched three Wood Badgers earn their beads, and sang back to Gilwell. It encouraged me to finish up my tickets. I currently have completed 2 tickets, have 2 half-way done, and 1 yet to start. All is well in my corner of the world.
