CAUGHT!
Yes, Caught is back! The following ten students of Hogwarts have been Caught doing something for the good of their house or the whole school.

HUFFLEPUFF:
Katie Sawyer - Even though she has only been here a short while, she has already boosted up post count and participated in many things. When the prefects were busy, she really helped out getting things done. She created tutorials and lists and such, which are things that take a significant amount of time. She has also helped out a lot with the screenshot team.
Ronald Weasley - When he's not fending off the females, he does a lot for the house. He has created some of the advertisements for our house mag, Transfiguration Today, as well as writing many articles for it and creating a word search. He posts in a lot of RPG's and games and gives all of us a good laugh on a daily basis. He keeps Zoey on her toes, too, because he's the only one brave enough to do it!

RAVENCLAW:
Penny Hung - Penny has been caught for always being in a cheerful mood which can be contagious and for always being so welcoming and helpful to new students. Shes also always trying to come up with new ideas for Ravenclaw.
Will Potter - Will has been caught for always lending a helping hand and pitching in ideas whenever he can. Hes also just become one of Ravenclaws newest mentors and prefect assistant, proving even more how helpful he can be.

SLYTHERIN:
Kiley Blaire - She has only recently arrived in Slytherin, but has already become and active member and an asset to the house. She posts like crazy, does her homework and is always there for a good laugh! She also brought her best friend to PADs and earned Slytherin another new student. Great job Kiley, we sure are glad to have you!
Saya Erikson - With a bumpy start, this young lady joined Slytherin. It seemed that nobody would get along, and many thought she would leave...but she did not! In fact, she is now one of the beloved of the most Precious House of Slytherin, and has helped in so many ways. I caught Saya praising others, and offering creative ideas for earning points. Nice going, Girlie!

GRYFFINDOR:
Linda Danes - Linda's help around the house has really been phenomenal these past few months. She does classes, writes articles, posts like crazy, and participates in all kinds of other house activity. Plus, she's really encouraging to everyone around her to make us push a little harder to our goals.
Gawyn Crossguard - Gawyn has been around Gryffindor for quite a while, and has done all kinds of things for Gryffindor, all behind the scenes. You don't notice how active he is unless you look for it, and once you do, it's surprising how much Gawyn has done to help Gryffindor along without any credit for it.

PENSHIRE:
Thomasina Sealy - This month we have picked Thomasina Sealy for her outstanding efforts to the house. Thomasina has been caught writing up to 50 different pieces this month with the Wizard Diegest, Owl Gazette and her new favourite, the Writing Club!
Also, she has been really helpful in the house itself with new students, helping them fit in. She is a true Penshire!
Danny Lupin - Danny Lupin of Penshire was caught being hard working and showing outstanding effort for the last month. He has been an active competitor in Penshire's Penvivor Challenge, placing in the Final Three! In addition to this amazing feat, he's just re-vamped the Drama Club, now filled with new plays, improv games and more! Kudos to you, Danny, for working so hard and getting so much accomplished!

Dont feel bad if you dont appear here. Theres always next time! A big thanks to all of you for your dedication and keep up the good work! Were always on the lookout for potential students to be Caught here.
Robbery at Gringotts
By MoD

Every wizard knows about the security measures of Gringotts like dragons and special charms protecting the vaults, only the goblins know where and how these protections work. Also known is the fact that actually attempting a robbery of this bank is senseless, since the vaults of the bank's customers are so well protected and the goblins would never tell anyone where who's vault is.

However, last week there has been an incident concerning the vaults of several Magical Funds for Children in Need, where wizards and witches had been collecting money for, two weeks ago. The money was saved to build up a new child care center at Diagon Alley, especially for such kids.

The Gringotts' chairman said just that much: The vaults in question have been noticed to be opened by other people than the bank's employees. These people have obviously been able to enter the bank unnoticed. The goblins said nothing about if the money has been taken away or not.

These news, however, have scared the magical community. Not just the fact that donated money is now an issue of robbery, but also that Gringotts, the safest bank in our magical world, happened to have been the victim of another try to rob the bank. Since the first try to steal something several years ago, we have thought that the security measures have been increased, but yet again the bank has to face it's weakness concerning the security measuring system.
New Hogwarts Band News
Araceli Mendoza of Penshire

The Administrators of the Hogwarts Band are pleased to announce its revival! The band had been quite inactive for the summer term, but it is now active again! Inactives are being taken care of, if you receive an email, reply right away! We want you at the band! New Conductors for the Hogwarts Band
Araceli Mendoza of Penshire

New Conductors for the Hogwarts Band!

Since the Band has "come back" the leaders of the Band have decided to delete their current system of administrators, one that had too many, and come up with a new one. This one will feature 3 leaders, who are also conductors, and 5 conductors total. In addition, we will have 2 moderators to keep everything in check. Head Leader of the Hogwarts Band and the Orchestra Conductor is Araceli Mendoza of Penshire. Co Leader and Band Conductor is Audrea Martin of Gryffindor. Co Leader and Choir Conductor is Avin Lucinda Holmes of Gryffindor. New additions to the staff have arrived as well! The Music School Leader is Jenii Chang of Slytherin. The Piano Conductor is Roxanne Whitez of Gryffindor. We are still looking for two mods, send in your applications today!
A Tight Points Race!
Araceli Mendoza of Penshire

This term, we are seeing two different houses fighting for the lead in points. Last year was dominated by the Claws and Snakes, with Slytherin winning out. This year, we see Penshire and Gryffindor flip-flopping positions. So who will win? No one knows yet. But one will pull out, or will we see another house pull through? Who knows, but that makes it fun! Make sure to support your house with points!
New Club
Araceli Mendoza of Penshire

This month has brought on the revival of the Drama Club. It was lead two other times by two Slytherins. But they had disappeared, and so did the club. Danny Lupin of Penshire, has started it up again, and this time it looks like it will stay! It is already quite active, with posting every day! There are plays that they perform; this year's will be A Midsummers Dream, by Shakespeare. In addition, there are classes one can take as well. It is truly a wonderful new club!
Yule Ball
Beonca Aims of Slytherin

There are really two dances that are as looked forward to as the End of Term Feast and the Start of Term Banquet. One is the Halloween Dance, which, by now, most of you are familiar with and why it is such a blastthe other dance is the Yule Ball! Since it takes place around the Holiday season, there is a lot of things that lead up to it. Like the Secret Santa gift exchange, and the halls being decorated, and of course the dance itself! And with the dance, we know there is will be another one of those fun staff contests where we guess which staff member belongs to something. Like this past holiday, we had to guess whos pumpkin was whos, and we had the swimsuit one this summer, so only Merlin and the Headmistress knows what this one will be, until she gets the staff working on it, but last year it was Christmas tress, and they were fun to guess! You can imagine what some of your favorites professors tress looked like. PADs was full of M&Ms and a certain NASCAR racer, Professor Ripley had OB ornaments, though some of us ran off with a few of them! Cough, Ava, cough. But it was fun to see the staff being so creative, so keep your eyes out this year and see what they come up with as surely it will be another successful contest and of course the dance! I would start shopping for that Yule Ball gown and robes NOW!
First Professor FanClub of Hogwarts
By MoD

I vividly remember the last issue, where I asked for some more 'Professor's Fan-Clubs' andta da: here it is. The first Professor-Fan-Club has opened, all to praise our popular Manga Drawing Teacher, Professor Hyde Takarai.

The initiators of this Club are no other than the well-known, trouble causing Slytherin student Kiley Blair, who had been mentioned several times before as she had been suspicious to be using Love Potion on her boyfriend, and the latest addition to the House of Slytherin: Kitty Kitona. This time, however, both of them had the great idea to open up a club to celebrate Hyde Takarai, who had been student of the honoured House of Slytherin, before he graduated at Hogwarts some time ago.

The pocky-loving Professor, however, declared that, so his statement "I had absolutely nothing to do with this." Of course, Hyde. I am hardly able to believe this.

Whoever is interested in joining the Club, this is what you should know first: at the very moment you won't be given any points for your house when you join. It's all for fun. The Club itself is located at the Room of Requirements on the 7th Floor. The Club activities, so told by Kiley Blair, would be praising Hyde, eating Pocky, writing songs about Hyde, drawing pictures of Hyde, reciting love poems to Hyde, making Hyde shrines out of stolen Hyde items, singing karaoke, and making fun of Hyde for having a fan club. Seems like great fun to me.

So, to every student of this school: If you happen to be madly in love with Hyde, like one certain red-haired girl, just go ahead and join the club. At the given moment, the number of club-members is still able to increase and once there are girls flooding the Club with their Pocky and their recited love poems, who knows if the leaders will accept your request to get in. I'll join as soon as I can. Just need to write a Hyde-related love poem first.

Maybe we should have a Crazy Spammers Club. . .
By Roxanne Whitez

Has anyone else noticed the amount of students who have been caught in action of spamming all day long [not literally, of course] down at the BB? Or maybe in the common rooms? For all I know, there has occurred quite a large number of spasm and such that one of our recent Professors has now even resulted to creating his own SPAM topic. Of course, "spam" in the technical term means something that is not wanted, or even just random. We could easily conclude it by using what we receive in our emails as something we never heard of, or in this case, just a bunch of students talking nonsense to each other.

Back to the topic, our own special Professor Takarai, or better known as Hyde, started his own little SPAM topic down in the BB due to the realization that he was practically only talking to himself while posting there. What more than another reason to beckon others to enter into this "lair" of his, and thus, we result into creating the very first Professor Fan Club. That is but another subject, as we continue to grow in numbers as the students who just meet other students by spamming. A crime? Not even.
