Diving Into the Life of Shalamar Magoo
It seems that its not much of a secret anymore that Penshire Prefects Sephiroth and Shalamar Magoo have become sweethearts; or if it was its not anymore! Anyway, I decided to get the real scoop on the relationship, without revealing my true identity for obvious reasons. So here it is for your reading pleasure
Reporter: Since you like Sephy do you like Dante too?
SM: Hmmm, if I told you Id probably have to kill you
Reporter: *looks a little worried*
SM: Yes. I love them both, but one more than the other
Reporter: So you secretly love Dante but are afraid to tell Sephy? Hmm? Interesting *jots something down on her notebook*
SM: I love Sephy, Dante's just a bonus
Reporter: If you say so. Which one do you thinks the cutest?
SM: Sephy
Reporter: Why?
SM: I bet your copying all this for the OG arent you?
Reporter: *smiles* Me? Noooooo
SM: I guess Im ok with it.
Reporter: So why do you like him over other boys? Like say Sam?
SM: Why do I like Sephy more?. hmm.. Hes dark and mysterious!!
Reporter: *scratches something else down* Back on the subject of Sam Why Sephy over him?
SM: Me and Sam are too much alike, we tend to butt heads a bit like sibling rivalry. Whereas me and Seph balance each other out. Hes the crazy to my sanity
Reporter: So does Dante ever get in the way of things between you and Sephy?
SM: Oh every now and again he'll pipe up, random outbursts. Or Seph and Dante start arguing.. but hes fun to have around
Reporter: Which would you have more fun with?
SM: Hmm.. thats a toughie. Both are equal really. Dante is more crazy though so he's fun to bring to an amusement park. Seph is more fun though (sorry Dante!)
Reporter: So, do you ever wish that there was only one of them instead of two?
SM: Hmm.. well. Thats tricky! No. I wouldnt change one thing about them I love them the way they are
Reporter: Have the pair of you ever been caught snogging in a broom closet?
SM: Broom closet?... not that I know of
Reporter: Any other type of closet or small enclosed area?
SM: Small enclosed area.. hmm. Maybe
Reporter: *Looks intently interested* Well go on... spill it
SM: We've never been big on PDA ..
Reporter: Yeah, neither have I
SM: Is that a confession!!??
Reporter: What? No! Of course not!
SM: Well, a lady never kisses and tells. does she?..
Reporter: *scribbles something down once again* Ok so back to you. Which would you rather take to a Hogwarts dance? The serious one or the fun one?
SM: Sephy definitely. Hes a great dancer
Reporter: *Again with the notebook* Ok so in closing... do you miss Sephy right now, and if so what would you like to say to him if he was here?
SM: Yes I miss him right now! And.. umm. He better be taking me to the dance!

What this reporter has concluded from the interview:
1. Shalamar likes dark and mysterious boys; shell probably be dating a bank thief next!.. or maybe, just maybe, Sephy is a bank thief! -Need to investigate this further.
2. It seems theres a good probability that the broom closets around here get lots more visitors than previously expected.
3. And she really IS in love with Dante even though he cant dance.
Interview with PAD by Jenii Chang
Jenii Chang: Hi and thanks for agreeing to the interview so first off *looks at notes* Where were you born?
Pads: England
J.C.: Did you go to school at Hogwarts?
PADS: Yes, just like my 2 older brothers did.
J.C.: What house were you in?
PADS: I was sorted into Ravenclaw at that time but had Penshire been discovered back then I probably would have been put in there instead.
J.C.: What was your favorite class as a kid?
PADS: Charms & Divination
J.C.: Do you still like those subjects?
PADS: Yes, very much! I use both in my everyday life all the time.
J.C.: So, as a kid were you most like Harry, Malfoy, or Hermione?
PADS: Actually, if I were to compare myself to other HP characters as a child I was probably more a combination of Ginny & Ron Weasley I suppose.
J.C.: *Makes note that PADS would be a Rinny* *Continues* What was your occupation before you started at Hogwarts?
PADS: If I answered that question I'd have to kill you!
J.C.: *laughs a kind of scared little laugh*Were you a teacher at Hogwarts before headmistress?
PADS: No, but after I became Headmistress I taught History of Magic, Charms, & German.
J.C.: What made you want to be headmistress at Hogwarts?
PADS:I wanted to be Headmistress because I felt that I had a lot to offer to the students & staff who would be attending & working here.
J.C.How long have you been working at Hogwarts?
PADS: I will be here 5 years this October.
J.C.: Which class would you like to teach if you were teaching instead of being headmistress?
PADS: I would like to teach Divination I think.
J.C.: If you were Head Of House for one house which house would you like it be?
PADS: Well, that's a tough one because I love all our houses we have here equally, but I suppose if I had to pick only one it'd be Hufflepuff.
J.C.Why?
PADS Because then I would be able to use all of Prof. Lockhart's beauty supplies for free!
J.C.: *Laughs* good idea. well that's it thanks for your time professor.
Professor Pendragons Return
By: Jennifer Kull (JUNK)

Sheeees Baaaacck! Yalva Pendragon, most beloved of Slytherin students and now of the professors, has indeed returned to PADs Hogwarts. Woot for her and the staff! We may now all have the time of our lives and learn the best of snide remarks, tricks for trade and spell-casting, and, of course, friendship.

I had the wonderful opportunity to interview my friend. Here it is, and *inserts hypnotism tactics* you WILL like it!

Where did you go while away, if youre ALLOWED to tell us, that is?
Well I honestly cant tell you everything, but I can tell you some. I had some family business I needed to work out as well as some personal things. After I got that out of the way I did some special traveling to work with some dragons and other witches and wizards that wished to help the species and culture of the dragon-kind. I even stopped to help a few dragons over in one country that were about to wiped out just so some Muggles could have some land for some new community.

How do you think this year will go for you teaching-wise?
Oh I honestly dont know not into the crystal ball as our dear Professor Ripley, though nothing against her and her seering. I do hope that things go well; Im hoping that the students will like my classes and see it as a value to their other classes.

What about this year are you looking forward to the most?
Honestly seeing the faces of my old friends, many of which I have already seen. I look forward to the dances, the games and of course my favorite sport Quidditch. I do miss the feel of the wind in my hair while soaring through the Pitch.

If you could be a student again, would you still be in Slytherin?
Oh no doubt. Im a Slytherin until the day I die and beyond. It runs in my veins. Id bleed green if you were to cut me right now I know it. I have friends and those I consider family among those serpents of the snake pit, you cant change who or what I am. Plain and simple.

How has your recent absence changed you, if at all?
Well I would hope Im calmer though I will say if I snap or feel like snapping I have a new robe that will be able to warn people. *leans forward and whispers* The skirt or robe will change to a brighter shade of the skirts or robes color. *leans back* So if they are bright Id avoid me for a while. But other than my temper Im still the same girl I mean woman I was before my absence.

May we all still call you Yalva outside of class?
*thinks and then smiles* Well those I consider my friends and the staff of Hogwarts may but others I ask that you respect me like the older staff members and call me Professor Pendragon. I mean just because I was a student last year doesnt mean I wouldnt respect you as a student and so I ask that you return that respect.

Alright, now only one more question left. Cookies or scones?
*laughs and then smiles behind her hands that are formed like a little teepee in front of her face* well there are some cookies I enjoy like the chocolate chip mint cookie or even my specially made from a baker over near a dragon clan in my home country of Italy that is shaped like little dragons. Its a Dragon gingerbread cookie that I love getting around Christmas time. But I have come to like a few scones her and there. Especially strawberry scones with a cup of hot dragons blood tea. Oh that can calm my nerves by the first two sips. Oh and I love the chocolate chip cookies or chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
The Sorting Hat
Lorena Quietglass

It wasnt everyday that I found myself on a small rickety old stool that, if magic hadnt been real, would have fallen apart years ago - before I was even born. I was nervous as I was sitting on that stool...was it years? Months? No, it was only a few weeks ago that I sat there, waiting for a hat to be plopped upon my head and to tell me the path I was to follow through my Hogwarts career. When the musty ancient thing was finally settled on the round thing I call a head, I felt its wrinkled cloth and could smell slight traces of mold. The hat went around, looking through my brain and finding secrets that I didnt want to tell.

I could hear its constant mumbling and whispering as it went deeper and deeper into my psyche, and all I wanted was for it to leave me alone and get the stupid thing over with. I didnt want to be here, I wanted to be doing something constructive, like learning magic, which was why I came here.

I did not come to this place to be sat down on a chair that kept constantly poking me in the butt, and to have a hat talk to me. It was most disconcerting, the hat talking to me, not because I found it strange that a hat could talk, but that it sounded like a house elf our family had by the name of Bertha after she had had three butterbeers or more. An entertaining sight to see, yes, but not to have in your head. The hat kept speaking to me, and trying to get me to talk back to it. I ignored it and ignored it but I couldnt stand the thing as it was almost begging me to talk to it.
"What?" I asked it bitterly.
"Theres nothing to get annoyed at child, I just wanted to have you say a few words."
"Just a few words."
"Cute. Really though, child, what house do you think you belong in?"
"Does it matter what house I want to be in?" I asked it. "I want to be in the house that suits me best. I thought you were supposed to know it."
"Im a hat, dearie, not a psychic. I need to listen to you to know what house you belong in."
And then she started asking questions. Whats my favorite candy? Did I prefer Sugar Quills to Chocolate frogs? What about my time of day? Was I a morning person or did I only speak coherently when the moon was shining?
The questions seemed to take forever, though really there were only a few. The hat started to make a little humming sound under its breath (did it breath?) when I suddenly felt as though a large presence left my mind. The hat! I thought to myself. I was quickly brought back to the real world though when I heard a large echoing go through the halls. SLYTHERIN!
