My name is Gailen Petersen (Pete) from White Cloud, Michigan. I spent 30 years teaching drafting, woodworking and problem solving in our local high school. I retired 9 years ago and now spend my time in the U.P., carving, metal detecting, hunting and fishing. My favorite fishing method is sitting in my shanty, in the winter, spearing. I use a spear made by my grandfather and my own decoys. Summer fishing is mainly for bluegills. I design and construct contemporary fishing lures, bobbers, fish and decoys. Each one has its own unique design. Each lure is handcarved and airburshed. Each lure has its own character. I take care in not duplicating any commericial lures or none of my own. When you have one of my lures you have a "one of a kind"!
