My name is Mandi Stine.  I am a senior with a dual major in elementary and special education.  I am from Catawissa, PA which is not too far from Bloomsburg, but I still live here.  This is currently my third year as an OWL.  Also here at Bloomsburg I have a work study where I work at the campus child care center.  In the community, I am a Big Sister for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and I am the team captain for my Relay for Life team.
I'm glad I choose Bloomsburg University because...
it was close to home but yet I was still on my own.  They have a great department for my major.
The independence.  You are now responsible for yourself.  Getting your work done, going to class, and doing well are all in your hands.  Also, being responsible for your own decisions.
Get involved, meet people, jin clubs and most of all have fun, but still remember what you are here for.
