Hi! My name is Bridgette Reish and I am going into my junior year here at Bloom U.  I am a Secondary Education major concentrating in Spanish with a minor in French.  I am a strong person who is passionate about many things, especially tolerance.  I enjoy playing tennis and hanging out with friends.  I ccome from a small town where everyone knows your name, so when I came to Blooms it was refreshing to know you could make a new name for yourself here.  I have a mother and father who are separated and a 23 year old brother and a 16 year old sister, plus a dog named Kobi, which are all back home in Milton, PA.  I know this year will be an exciting and fun one!
I'm glad I choose Bloomsburg University because...
the education program is great and they offer so many clubs and events to get involved in, plus the town of Bloom is beautiful, with a lot to do.
In high school you knew who you were.  In college you make a new name for yourself.  Also, in college you are your own motivator and you are responsible for yourself and your actions.  You have to answer to yourself.
That you make your experience what it is.  Come in with a positive attitude and you will enjoy your college experience more.  Don't be judgmental.  Be open minded because you will be exposed to a lot of diversity around you.  And know who you are, stand up for what you believe in.
a great program for incoming students to gain friendship and knowledge about the university and town.  And to let students and parents know and feel more comfortable about what is going on.
The biggest difference between high school and college is...
My best advice to new students would be...
The BU orientation program is...
Since coming to Bloomsburg I've noticed some changes in me...
I've realized who I am as a person and I know where I am going.  I'm passionate about many things and stick up for what I believe in.
The best way to succeed academically is...
to go to class, do the work, and don't prejudge a class or professor before you experience it.  Be willing to participate in class and always ask questions.
