We see Angel arrive at the arena and get out of his car in the parking deck. Suddenly we hear the rev up of a engine. Angel turns to see a headlight coming towards him. The crash isn't what knocks Angel down though. He dodges out of the way of the motorcycle only to get dropkicked from the leaping driver of said motorcycle. Angel flies into the brick wall of the parking deck. He holds his chest in pain as he crumbles to the floor. The assassin in question gets up and walks over to Angel and takes off his helmet. Trent Steel - You are unfit to be champion. Enjoy your loss. Trent walks off leaving Angel trying to catch his breath. We cut to inside of the arena quickly. Vacant - Jesse? A voice is heard as the door of Jesse Williams' locker room slowly swings open. Vacant casually places himself shoulder first up against one side of the frame of the door with a smile on his face looking at his idol. Jesse Williams - Nick, I'm not going to ask you to listen again, because you've been ignoring everything I've said for weeks. But at least hear what I'm saying - you need to leave. Vacant - I'm going nowhere. I qualified for Quest, same as you. I have a right to be here. Williams - You're not hearing me. I didn't say go home. Just leave. Leave me. You're one of my opponants tonight, and I don't chit chat with my opponants before matches. Vacant - Oh. Vacant stands silently at the doorway for a moment, staring at Williams in disbelief. Williams - Are you not hearing me? Get the hell out! We might be fighting tonight. And you're a god-damned Perry. You guys got a way of getting in people's heads. Vacant - I'm nothing like him. Jesse stands up off of his stool. Williams - Prove it, Nicholas. Your father and I go way back, I know him better than he knows himself- just like I know you better than you know yourself. I've watched his back countless times, and what does he do in the end? He teams with Sonny Lighting- my own fucking cousin. Jesse grabs the end of his black t-shirt and pulls it off over his head. Immediately he points at a large circular scar located on his bicep. Williams - My cousin who cut a chunk of flesh out of my arm. So when it comes down to it Nicholas, when it comes down to wrestling a Perry, I take it very seriously. Vacant had already formed his opinions on his father's past, but he brushes off Jesse's statement before making one of his own. Vacant - I just wanted to tell you something. I'm ready. I'm ready for this thing tonight. And I'm going to do it. I don't need or want any help. Win or lose, I want to know I did this thing on my own and I earned what I got. You just worry about Jesse Williams. Vacant turns and leaves. Williams grinds his fist into his palm in frustration. Williams - You better be worrying about Jesse Williams too.

"Spotlight" by Future Leaders of the World blasts through the PA System as we fade in from black to the sold out Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The cameras pan towards the entrance ramp, showing a very similar layout to last years. The welded steel letters "Q", "F", "T" and "B" are standing tall around both sides of the entrance ramp while a large fireball of pyrotechnics shoot out from behind the letters and up into the rafters. The lights shine from the nosebleeds down to the front row and everywhere in between as the fans cheering almost becomes deafening. Falcoon - AHOOOOOOOOOOO! We are live tonight from a sold out Verizon Center in the Nation's Capital. We are proud to welcome you as the OWF presents Quest For The Best 2008! Kissens - This place is rocking tonight. Dunn - They paid good money and they expect to see a great show. Falcoon - And we certainly have that lined up for them tonight. Dunn - That's correct, Gordie. With the inclusion of the Quest For The Best Tournament, we are going to have eleven matches tonight. Kissens - It's going to be hell for a few competitors who may end up competing in just under half of those eleven matches. Falcoon - Who you guys picking this year? Dunn - Trent Steel. He's going to come out and destroy the competition. Kissens - I have Plague winning. Falcoon - I'm going with the outside chance and picking Stonze. He has been mighty impressive lately. Kissens - Looks like we're going to find out soon what two of the competitors in the Quest For The Best Tournament are all about as both Jesse and Stonze are in action in a Tag Match to start off the night. Dunn - With the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Championships on the line as Angel and Williams defend them as a team for the second time, as they face the new faces of Corrupted in Styxx and Stonze. Falcoon - Let's go to Missy so we can kick this off properly. Missy Janson stands in the center of the ring holding a microphone as the fans cheer the beginning of the show. Missy Janson - Welcome everyone to QUEST FOR THE BEST! The fans pop loud. Missy Janson - It is time for the first match of the night and it is a Tag Team Match for the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Championships. Coming to the ring first, the challengers from Saginaw, Michigan...The team of Styxx and Stonze! "Cowboys from Hell" blasts over the P.A. system. WE BREAK BONES begins flashing on the screen. Fog fills the top of the ramp and then the spotlight shines down as Styxx appears first, followed closely by Stonze. Styxx taunts the crowd for a moment and then runs down to the ring. He jumps up on the apron and flips in over the ropes, while Stonze takes his time walking down the ramp and insulting each fan as he walks. Eventually he slides into the ring where he begins to confer with Styxx. Falcoon - These two have been at each others throats. Dunn - Not as bad as the two guys they are facing. Missy Janson - And their opponents, coming to the ring first from Las Vegas, Nevada...He is the OWF Tears Tag Team Champion, Jesse Williams! PA System - NOW YOU'RE DOING THE WALTZ WITH YOUR MURDERER! The fans explode as "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste" hits the PA System. Jesse Williams slowly walks out from the back with the Tag Title slung over his shoulder and a look of determination towards the ring. Falcoon - This should be an interesting match. Suddenly from behind Jesse, Angel runs out with the OWF Blood Tag Team title in hand and the fans explode into cheers once again. He nails Jesse in the back of the head with the gold plating of the belt, knocking Williams for a loop. Jesse falls to the ramp and rolls over sideways until he gets down to ringside. Dunn - These two can't even wait for the bell. Angel reaches down, grabbing a handful of Jesse's hair and rolls him into the ring before Angel steps up onto the apron and gets into his corner. Styxx and Stonze stare at Angel who motions at them to proceed as the bell rings. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Styxx cautiously walks towards Jesse as Stonze steps to the outside. He reaches down, pulling Jesse up by the arm and slapping him across the face with a hard closed fist. Jesse drops to one knee and Styxx responds by bringing his left knee up into the face of Jesse and knocking him flat to his back. Styxx walks over to the corner and tags in Stonze who steps through the ropes and runs at Jesse, soccer kicking him in the ribs as he attempts to get up. Styxx exits the ring while Stonze goes to town with stomps from all directions to the midsection of Williams, who rolls under the ropes to a laying position on the apron on the outside. Stonze steps up to the second rope and reaches over the top rope, grabbing a hold of Jesse's hair and pulling him up to his feet. All in one motion, Jesse grabs Stonze in a suplex position. Since Stonze is on the second rope, it is easy for Jesse to execute the vertical suplex. Stonze crashes down to the outside with a loud thud as Jesse stands back on the apron. Falcoon - What a reversal. Jesse turns and charges at his corner, spearing Angel off the apron and down to the outside. The fans explode into cheers as their two favorite wrestlers go at it on the outside. Dunn - AND LOOK AT THIS NOW! Williams and Angel trade blow for blow with each other until Jesse is able to mount Angel. He brings two elbows down to his jaw, followed by a double axe handle slam to the chest. Suddenly, Styxx comes out of nowhere and dropkicks Jesse right in the face knocking him off of Angel. Angel stands right up and grabs Styxx around his throat and slamming the back of his head into the ring post before pulling him towards Angel and executing a flawless spinebuster on the outside on Styxx. Meanwhile, Stonze has recovered from the suplex to the outside and has grabbed a hold of a recovering Jesse Williams and tosses him back first into the ring apron. He follows it up with a shoulder charge to the stomach that sends Jesse down to a seated position. Stonze sees that Angel is getting the best of Styxx so he runs at Angel and takes him down with a leg sweep. Kissens - I think the team work of Styxx and Stonze is going to help them in this match. Falcoon - It definitely won't hurt. Stonze helps Styxx up, followed by grabbing a hold of the hair of Angel and tugging him up to his feet. Both men grab him in a suplex position and they lift him up and nail a double suplex on the outside on Angel. As soon as they stand up, Jesse rolls into the ring casually. Neither Styxx or Stonze sees him. Jesse bounces off the far side ropes and runs full speed towards the side of the ring where Stonze, Styxx and Angel are on the outside of. Williams leaps over the top rope, not touching it or using it to propel himself, and nails a cross body plancha, sending all three men to the ground. The fans cheer loudly at the show of agility by Jesse. Dunn - It's not often you see him fly like that anymore. Falcoon - It's true. Angel is the first to get up, followed by Jesse. The two men lock eyes and charge at each other, taking one another down with a clothesline. Kissens - This is ridiculous, y'all. Falcoon - This is the breaking point right here. Styxx and Stonze both stumble to their feet and regain their senses. Styxx goes back to his side of the ring while Stonze rolls inside of the ring to rest. Both Angel and Jesse lay on the outside of the ring, as both begin to move at about the same time. Jesse rolls into the ring where he is met by a few quick stomps by Stonze. Angel hops up onto the apron as Jesse stands up and Angel smacks him on the back, tagging himself in. Angel runs in and clotheslines Stonze down to the mat as Jesse stands up behind Angel. Angel turns around and out of nowhere Williams nails a huge superkick that sends Angel down to the mat like a tree trunk. Falcoon - Oh what the hell! Jesse walks through the ropes and leaves Angel in the ring as Stonze pushes himself up and lays on top of the prone Angel. Dunn - I told you....It's all over! The referee slides into place...1...2...3! Missy Janson - The winners of this match, and NEEEEEEW OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Champions...STYXX AND STONZE! Jesse walks through the curtains and to the back as Angel regains consciousness. Both Styxx and Stonze receive their titles and begin to exit as Angel becomes fuming in the ring. Kissens - I can't believe Jesse screwed Angel! Dunn - I sure can. Angel rolls out of the ring and begins to exit as a string of ring technicians run down the ramp as the large steel contraption begins to lower from the ceiling. Falcoon - Cage match is next! Dunn - Oh goody! Kissens - First quarterfinal, y'all! The ring technicians position themselves around the ring and fasten each panel onto the turnbuckle as it lowers around the ring. Quickly they give Missy the thumbs up and all scatter up the ramp and backstage. Falcoon - Looks as if the ring techs have finally set up the cage. Let's send it to Missy. Missy Janson - The next match up is the first Quarterfinal of the Quest For The Best Tournament, and it is a Cage Match. Winner moves on to the Semifinal round later tonight. You can win by escape, pinfall, or submission. Dunn - I wonder who it's gonna be! Missy Janson - Coming to the ring first, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma...Silkk! The fans cheer loudly as Silkk's music hits. He arrogantly walks down the ramp, slapping a few fives to the fans as he makes his way closer and closer to the ring. He walks up the steel steps and through the door into the ring which is inside of the cage. Silkk stares up at the metal contraption for a few seconds before looking up at the ramp. He waits to find out who is opponent is as his music dies down. Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania..."The Son of a Bitch" Trent Steel! Kissens - Uh oh. PA System - Now you're messing with a son of a bitch. With a wide smile upon his face, Trent Steel walks through the curtains glances at the ring while his music blares loudly. The fans boo him with all that they have in their lungs. He takes slow steps as he walks down the ramp and approaches Silkk. Trent keeps the anticipating at an all time high as he plays mindgames with Silkk by taking so long to get the ring. Falcoon - Look at Silkk, he doesn't know what to do. Steel slides through the open steel cage door and under the bottom rope, positioning himself in the ring before pushing himself up and staring right at Silkk. His music fades as the two men take up positions in their corners. The cage door is shut by the referee inside of the ring, and a ref on the outside locks it. From the ring, the referee calls for the bell. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Both men stare at each other, both weary of one anothers abilities. Silkk charges at Steel, but Trent lunges forward and nails a chop block on the right knee of Silkk which sends him down to the mat in a world of hurt. Steel hops right back up, but Silkk is still prone on the mat. Trent just stares down at his opponent and turns towards the cage door. Falcoon - Silkk's been hurt! Silkk begins to crawl towards Steel as he heads for the exit, Steel turns back around and kicks Silkk right across the face which dazes Silkk. Trent calls for the door to be opened and they are. He steps through and down to the floor. Dunn - That match sucked. Missy Janson - Your winner, and moving on to the Semifinals of the Quest For The Best Tournament...TRENT STEEL! Falcoon - He made that look easy. Kissens - And he barely broke a sweat. He's going to be so fresh by the time his semifinal match comes along. Dunn - And that is a scary thought. Silkk has a limp as he pulls himself up with the help of the ropes. EMT's rush out and escort him to the back. Falcoon - I think Silkk is injured badly. Kissens - Hopefully he's alright. The cage is slowly dismantled by the ring crew as Steel exits to the back and Silkk is transported backstage to get his knee checked out. Soon they have the entire thing broken down and are already moving pieces of it to the back and moving out large pieces of steel. Dunn - Platform Match! Falcoon - That is going to be one of the more interesting match stipulations, I think. We cut to the back where we see Garrett Greene standing next to MVP. We listen in on their conversation. Garrett Greene - Hell of a night, eh? Mike Van Pelt - Not when MVP isn't booked! Garrett Greene - Sure whatever you say. Suddenly, Greg Jackson walks by holding a brown cardboard box. Greg Jackson - Hey guys, here's a free t-shirt! Vote for me in the Battle of the Bands! He tosses two shirts that fall to the feet of both men before Greg disappears. MVP - That guy is strange, dude. We cut back to the ring. The final steel platform is fastened in and a ladder is set up next to the three foot high cage that surrounds the platforms. Missy stands up from ringside with a microphone in hand. Missy Janson - The following match up is scheduled for a one-fall and it is a Quarterfinal Match for the Quest For The Best Tournament. It is a Platform Match and the winner will move on to the Semifinals of the Quest For The Best Tournament. Coming to the ring first, from Chicago, Illinois...Shyne! PA System - From New Orleans to Chi-Town, its Weezy Baby! "I'm Me" by Lil Wayne hits the speakers and Shyne slowly emerges from backstage. He approaches the unfamiliar structure very slowly, acting very timid. He quickly darts down the ramp and grabs a hold of the ladder, which he ascends quickly before hopping down onto the steel platform outside the ring. He jumps up and down on it a few times, and it doesn't budge. He steps through the ropes and into the center of the ring where he receives another loud ovation as his music fades. Dunn - And who will be going against Shyne! Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Brantford, Ontario, Canada...Vacant! Heavy piano chords slam out over the PA as "Bastard" by Ben Folds somberly ques in for the crowd. The curtains ripple as Vacant slips through, tugging down on the blaze orange ski mask covering his face, and begins the long stride down the ramp in the midst of the fans cheers. He scans the crowd briefly as he walks, before tearing his attention back to the ring and forcing himself to focus. Falcoon - He doesn't look very confident. Vacant slowly climbs up the ladder, but instead of hopping down onto the platform he leaps off and nails a missle dropkick to the chest of Shyne which sends him flying across the ring as the referee calls for the bell. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Kissens - Now he does! Vacant stands up looking pretty assured of himself as Shyne pushes himself up to his knees. Nicholas uses his speed to his advantage, running full speed at the prone Shyne. He baseball slides through Shyne's legs and comes up behind him nailing a dropkick to the back of Shyne which sends him tumbling over the top rope and face first onto the steel platform surrounding the ring. Dunn - The Vacancy! Kissens - It could be any move ever! Falcoon - Shyne is totally dazed. Vacant quickly hops through the ropes onto the steel platform beside Shyne. He pulls Shyne up to his feet on the steel platform and Vacant puts his back up against the ropes. He climbs, backwards, up the ropes and to a sitting position on the top rope. He wraps both legs around Shyne's head and Vacant rolls backwards into the ring, flipping Shyne over the top rope from the platform back into the ring with a hurricanrana version of the Vacancy. The fans start to get behind Vacant completely after dumping Shyne back into the ring. Shyne pushes himself up slowly and Vacant gets into a fighting stance. As Shyne stands up on unsteady legs, Vacant dropkicks Shyne in the chest. He stumbles backwards onto the ropes and bounces back. Vacant remains on the mat and as Shyne bounces back he nails a drag toe hold, sending Shyne face first to the mat. Shyne only becomes enraged and pushes himself up. Dunn - Run! Vacant backs up against the ropes and Shyne lunges at him. Vacant ducks his grapple attempt and wraps his arms around the waist of Shyne, attempting to dump him over the top rope again. Kissens - Looking for The Vacancy for a third time! Falcoon - Shyne is just too heavy. Shyne is able to break free, nailing a punch to the face of Nicholas and is able to step back. He swings wildly with a clothesline, that Vacant ducks at the last second. Shyne gets hung up on the top rope and Vacant grabs a hold of Shyne's legs and flips him forward over the top rope, crashing down on the back of his head and neck. Dunn - This kid has got some fire. Kissens - The fans love him! Vacant hurries to the outside, picking up Shyne before he can regain his senses. Vacant leans Shyne's upper body up against the top rope and lifts his legs, using the top rope to roll Shyne backwards onto his head once again as he lays lifeless on his back in he ring. In one bound, Vacant hops up to the top rope and stands up tall before flipping frontward and nailing a Swanton Bomb on the ribcage of Shyne. Falcoon - Swanton Bomb! Vacant quickly covers Shyne, hooking his left leg as the referee slides into place...1...2...3! Missy Janson - The winner of this match and moving on to the Semifinal round...VACANT! Dunn - I dunno how he pulled that off, but he did. Falcoon - And it seems as if Jesse's nightmares are becoming more and more true by the minute. Kissens - Steel has advanced, and now so has Vacant. The ring technicians begin to easily disassemble each platform as Vacant exits the ring celebrating with the fans. Falcoon - HUGE win for the youngster, though. We go to the backstage area where Greg Jackson is in his locker room with an ARMY of men with white towels in their hands. Greg Jackson - I'm sorry to say, but you're all fired. I'm only allowed to have three people in my band, so you all have to leave. Again, I'm sorry. Random Dude - Can we keep the towels? Greg Jackson - Hell no. In fact, on your way out, you'll notice a blue bin by the door. Return your towels immediately... and get the fuck out. The white towel army grumbles as they leave, putting their towels into the bin as they do so. This leaves Greg in the room with his agent, Steve Johnson, who moves into view of the camera. Greg Jackson - Did you get what I asked for? Steve Johnson - Well, I got a female singer, a male rapper, and a guitar player. Greg Jackson - That's not what I asked for. I asked for specific singers, rappers and guitar players. Steve Johnson - I did the best I could on such short notice. Alicia Keys is unavailable. Greg Jackson - That slut... Steve Johnson - Ice Cube said no on the basis that he's writing a diss track to you as we speak. Greg Jackson - That asshole! Steve Johnson - And Jimi Hendrix is dead. Greg Jackson - Ok, so what did you get me? Steve Johnson - Well, I got a star-studded line-up for ya! Playing guitar, I got some guy from Loverboy! Greg Jackson - Are they that group that sang "Working for the Weekend"? Steve Johnson - You bet. Greg Jackson - FANTASTIC! Who's rapping? Steve Johnson - I found Fred Durst's cousin, Ted Durst. Greg Jackson - Sweet. And female vocals. Steve Johnson - You won't believe this. I found her... snorting crack and having sex with Fred Durst's cousin behind the arena. After I agreed to stick a finger in her ass, she agreed to do vocals for your performance... may I present to you... COURTNEY LOVE! Courtney Love and and the other two band mates enter the locker room. Greg Jackson - WELCOME ABOARD! Now everyone grab a white towel. Ted Durst - AWWWWW YEAH! CHOCOLATE STARFISH! We cut back to the announcers booth. Falcoon - That is some all-star band he has there. Kissens - Theodore Durst! Hahaha! Dunn - Frederick Durst is worse. Falcoon - Hey that kinda rhymed. Dunn - ...Kinda. Missy Janson steps up the steel steps and enters into the ring. She stands in the center of the ring and produces a microphone which she held behind her back. Missy Janson - The next match is the third Quarterfinal Match for the Quest For The Best Tournament, and it is an I Quit Match. Only way to win is to make your opponent tap out or say "I Quit". Winner moves on to the semifinals. Falcoon - I can't take this anymore! Missy Janson - Coming to the ring first from Los Angeles, California....Ray Lopes! The fans explode into a roar of cheers as Ray Lopes walks out from the back pumping up the crowd with his arms. He jogs down the ramp, darting from side to side as he slaps a few hands along the way. He slides under the bottom rope and holds his arms up high as his music fades. Dunn - I got a source that says Lopes is going far tonight. Kissens - We'll see about that. Missy Janson - And his opponent...from Las Vegas, Nevada...Jesse Williams! PA System - NOW YOU'RE DOING THE WALTZ WITH YOUR MURDERER! Dunn - Hahaha! Falcoon - As if it couldn't get worse for Jesse. Jesse Williams walks out from behind the curtains with his eyes locked on the ring. He has a slight limp but he ignores the pain and pushes down the ramp. The fans cheer even louder as they get to see Jesse and Ray go toe to toe again. Lopes is in the ring staring directly at Jesse as he slides into the ring. Jesse's music fades. Kissens - This is gonna be good, y'all. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) The two men meet in the center of the ring. Jesse extends his hand and in turn, Ray extends his and the two shake hands to the fans approval. Falcoon - A lot of respect in that ring right now. Both men back off and begin to size each other up. They slowly circle each other before Ray lunges forward at the legs of Jesse, but Williams is able to avoid it. Ray favors his shoulder a bit, but Williams doesn't take advantage when Ray backs off. The two men lock up, with Jesse able to trip Ray down to his back and grabbing his right leg. Lopes kicks up with his free left leg and catches Jesse in the chest, which causes him to drop Ray's right leg to the mat. He pushes himself up and charges Jesse, pressing him back first up into the corner before standing up and unleashing two hard right hands. Jesse grabs Ray by the head and turns his back into the corner. Williams nails a hard right upper cut before irish whipping Ray across the ring. Lopes crashes back first into the turnbuckle and hits the mat face first. Kissens - Lopes is wrestling injured. Falcoon - I think that is obvious. Williams walks over to the legs of Ray and grabs his left leg. Williams cranks it back as he sits down on the lower back of Ray. He holds Lopes in the single legged boston crab tightly as Ray yells in pain. He extends his right arm which is close to the ropes, but is unable to grab a hold of the bottom rope. He digs his fingertips into the canvas and drags himself towards the rope and grabs a hold of it with his left hand. The referee calls for Jesse to break the hold, which he does. He stands up and glances down at Lopes who is slow to get up. Dunn - You can tell Jesse is avoiding Lopes' arm. Falcoon - That's because he doesn't want to injure his friend. Kissens - He just wants to win. Lopes limps towards Jesse who is too fast and slips behind Lopes locking him in a cobra clutch. Jesse falls to his back and hooks his legs around the waist of Ray as he tightens the hold around Ray's good shoulder and his neck. Lopes kicks his legs violently before somehow catching his boot on the bottom rope which prompts the referee to break the hold. Jesse complies and releases Ray and pushes himself up. He waits for Lopes to stand, who is on one knee trying to catch his breath. Ray gets up to his feet and ducks a clothesline attempt by Jesse, he counters as he floats around him and nails a falling neckbreaker. Falcoon - Nice counter by Lopes there. Williams holds his head, but is quickly able to begin to push himself up while it takes a while for Lopes to get up. Jesse stands laying in wait as Ray gets up to his feet and charges right at Jesse. Lopes leaps in the air attempting a cross body block and it takes Jesse by surprise. All he can do is grab a hold of Ray as he flies towards him and toss him up into the air backwards a bit. As he does that, Ray extends his boots in the air and nails a dropkick to the chest of Jesse which staggers him backwards against the ropes. He stumbles forward into a hard right elbow by Lopes. Jesse is dazed for a few seconds before Ray follows up with a knee to the stomach and follows it up with a DDT. Jesse lays face down on the mat while Lopes grabs him in an arm bar and wrenches tightly. Luckily, Williams is able to free himself and roll away from Lopes before standing up. Dunn - Jesse has his hands full tonight it seems. Lopes runs at Jesse and attempts a shoulder block, but Jesse doesn't budge. Ray runs against the ropes and runs back, attempting another shoulder block with his good shoulder and it barely moves Jesse. Ray runs towards the ropes again but this time he hops up to the second one and moonsaults backwards. Kissens - Asai Moonsa -- Jesse catches Ray over his shoulder in a front powerslam position. He grabs the head of Ray and brings it forward a bit before sitting out and driving Ray's neck and head straight down to the mat on his back with an Emerald Frosion. Dunn - J-Dubz Driver!! Falcoon - You love saying that, don't you? Dunn - Yep. Williams stands up and walks to the legs of Ray Lopes. He picks them up and spreads them. Jesse steps through Ray's legs and grapevines his legs around his leg and turns Ray over into a Sharpshooter. Falcoon - He has Lopes with nowhere to go!! Ray struggles to move but quickly sees there is no place else to go. He tries to fight it, but chooses to not further injure himself and he taps out. Missy Janson - The winner of this match and moving on to the Semifinals of the Quest For The Best, JESSE WILLIAMS! The fans applaud both men loudly as Ray holds his legs in pain. His shoulder also is causing a lot of discomfort to him, even though Jesse didn't go after his arm. Williams rolls out of the ring and takes the long walk back up the ramp before disappearing behind the curtains. Falcoon - So fans, so far we have three semifinalists in Vacant, Trent Steel and Jesse Williams. Dunn - One more quarterfinal to go. We cut to the backstage area. Greg Jackson spots Vacant backstage, chasing after him after his quarterfinals win. Jackson - Smooth out there, kid. You really turned some heads. Vacant - It isn't easy, man. Believe me, you gotta work for it. Jackson - But as long as those heads are turned and looking at you, I was thinking now is the time for you to lock in their attention and become the OWF's Second Biggest star. Right after yours truly, of course. Vacant - Oh God. Jackson - So, how's about coming to your semifinals bout with your new music blaring - Greg Jackson's "Cinnamon". Vacant - I dunno, Greg. Your Battle of the Bands against Roxie isn't til a bit later, and you don't want to blow your load too early. Jackson - Oh that's already taken care of. Rubbed one out before the show even started. Vacant - What I m- Ugh! Too much info, man. Anyways, I was thinking more about the Battle of the Bands though. Jackson - Don't worry. The Blackjack's got reserves. I can spank one off before Battle of the Bands too. You know, just to make sure I'm bone dry. Vacant - Don't need to know. Don't want to know. Vacant claps his hands over his ears. Vacant - Anyways, you got to get the biggest reaction out of the crowd possible to win Battle of the Bands, right? If I come out to my match using Cinnamon, I'll steal all your thunder. You want Battle of the Bands to be the first time those people ever get to hear it. That way they'll be as.. um.. surprised as I was. Jackson - I dig. I dig. But if you make it to the finals- Vacant - Listen Greg, I'll level with ya. I can't use Cinnamon tonight. Jackson - Why not? You said you liked it! Vacant - Oh it's not that! I do like it. It's totally... well, it's something alright. It's just that everybody is going to like it, and you're going to cream Moxie in Battle of the Bands. Jackson - Well yeah, that's why you need on board the Blackjack Express. Choo Choo! Jackson makes a train horn motion with his arm, then whips out a white towel to swing over his head. Vacant - But don't you see, Moxie's just a girl. When everyone starts booing her and cheering for more Cinnamon, she's going to be all hurt and vulnerable. She'll probably even cry. Jackson - Hey, she started it! Vacant - What I'm saying is, maybe when she's all vulnerable, a certain boy superstar can become a man, if you get my drift. Jackson - Oh. I get ya. You wanna play that sensitive pussy-whipped card so you can score a Vagina-Lock of your own. I dig. I dig. Vacant - Yeah. I'll be like 'Don't worry, Moxie. Everyone else might hate you, but I got some lovin right here.' Jackson - Oh YES! And I'll TOTALLY be hiding in the closet with a night vision camera filming your sex tape with Moxie Roxie! And then she'll be all like 'Oh yes, Vacant. Nothing cheers me up like some hot D-Felony - Sex Abuse 3rd - 709.4 subsection 4 - consensual sexual relations with a person of the age of 15 or 16 when the parties are separated by four or more years of age. Vacant - Um.. wow, Greg. You sure seem to be familiar with the legalities of it all. Jackson - There are some fine ass groupies. I swear, she told me she was 17! Vacant - Isn't 17 still illegal? Jackson - Just a misdemeanor. We cut back to the announcers booth.
Dunn - Yeah, I'm officially creeped out. Kissens - Me too, good thing it's time for the final quarterfinal match up. Missy Janson - The following match up is the last Quarterfinal Match for the Quest For The Best Tournament. It is a Strap Match where the two opponents will be attached by the wrist by a ten foot strap. You must touch all four corners and then secure a pinfall or submission on your opponent for victory. Winner moves on as the last Semifinalist for the Tournament. The fans cheer loudly. Missy Janson - Coming to the ring first, from Saginaw, Michigan...Stonze! "Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera hits the speakers and Stonze walks out to a chorus of boos. He glares out into the mass of fans as he slowly walks down towards the ring. He hobbles a bit walking down the ramp but he quickly covers it up by getting into a full sprint and sliding under the ropes. He stretches with help from the ropes as his music slowly fades out. Dunn - And that only leaves one more. Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada...Plague! The arena goes entirely dark and then the drum rolls of "Down with the Sickness" is heard throughout the arena. The words The Plague Has Struck appears on the titantron, each word at a time. Finally Plague comes out from the back to a mixed reaction as he runs full speed down to the ring. He slides under the ropes and meets Stonze face to face in the center of the ring. The music dies down and the referee grabs the leather strap, beginning to fasten it to the wrists of both men as they are engaged in a stare down. The strap is fastened to the left wrist of Stonze and the right wrist of Plague. The referee steps back and calls for the bell. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) The two men trade lefts and rights right off the bat, acting as if they aren't connected. Plague eventually gets the upper hand and backs Stonze up against the ropes. He irish whips Stonze across the ring, but at the ten foot mark Stonze stops dead in his tracks as he has no more room on the strap to stretch. Plague grabs a hold of it and tugs Stonze towards him attempting a double arm clothesline but Stonze ducks it and in the process trips Plague up with the strap and sending him down to the mat face first. Stonze wastes no time, hopping across the shoulders of Plague and locking in a chokehold with the strap. Falcoon - That is the benefit of the strap, it can be used as a very useful weapon. Plague begins to stand up slowly, gasping for air before bringing an elbow into the chest of Stonze which releases his hold on the strap. Plague stands straight up and takes Stonze down with a clothesline that even sends Plague down to the mat with it's impact across the chest of Stonze. Plague is quickly able to stand up and he walks towards the nearest corner. With his free hand he taps the top turnbuckle. Dunn - That's one. He begins to walk towards the corner adjacent to the one he just touched as Stonze begins to regain his senses. Plague taps the second turnbuckle as Stonze gets up to his feet. Plague darts for the third turnbuckle but Stonze holds firm on the strap, preventing Plague from tapping it. Plague turns around and runs at Stonze, only to be picked up and slammed right back down with a spinebuster. Stonze now picks himself up and drags himself towards the nearest corner. He extends his right hand and taps the turnbuckle. He turns and walks towards the turnbuckle to his left and taps that one as well. When he turns around, he finds Plague laying in wait. He thrusts his boot up, attempting The Vaccine superkick, but Stonze ducks and crotches Plague with the leather strap. Falcoon - Ouch! Kissens - That's gotta hurt y'all! The referee calls off Stonze's pursuit of the third turnbuckle. Plague is on both knees holding his midsection as Stonze grabs him by the hair and lifts him to his feet. Stonze grabs Plague around the waist and attempts a belly to belly suplex, but Plague doesn't budge. Somehow, Plague breaks free and takes two steps back. Stonze runs at him, but Plague uses the strap to wrap around the midsection of Stonze and swing himself around behind his back. Plague grabs Stonze in a reverse waist lock and tries his best for a german suplex, but Stonze is able to roll out of it. He pushes himself up in time to avoid a lunging Plague who falls to all fours. Stonze grabs the strap and begins to whip the back of Plague as hard as he can with the thick brown leather. Dunn - Listen to the crack as it hits his back. Plague yells in pain as he tries to crawl away, but Stonze follows him and continues to bring the strap down across his back with a passion. Plague eventually gets to the ropes and uses them to begin to climb to his feet, but Stonze doesn't stop cracking him with the leather strap. Plague gets up to his feet where suddenly he nails The Vaccine superkick on Stonze, before both men collapse to the mat. Falcoon - What a counter by Plague. Kissens - It took a lot out of him though. Plague begins to drag himself up to his feet and he staggers towards the nearest corner, he taps the turnbuckle and turns to his right. He heads towards that turnbuckle and once he reaches it, he taps it. Plague turns to his right once again, heading for the third turnbuckle as Stonze begins to get up to his feet. Plague jogs and taps the third turnbuckle and turns the corner heading full speed at the final one. Stonze grabs a hold of the strap and attempts to prevent Plague from getting the last turnbuckle. Plague reaches his free left arm out and taps the fourth turnbuckle. Dunn - Now Plague can pin or submit Stonze. Stonze yanks on the strap and Plague charges at him. Stonze spears Plague down to the mat and Stonze hops right up and touches the turnbuckle he is right next to. He drags Plague across the ring to the second turnbuckle and taps that one before moving to his left once again and drags the dead weight of Plague with him. He reaches out, tapping the third top turnbuckle and turning to the left one more time. Plague begins to stand up and Stonze uses all his strength to drag Plague towards the corner. He inches closer and closer and he is able to tap it before Plague yanks him back. Falcoon - So can Stonze now! Plague attempts the Vaccine superkick, but Stonze ducks it and grabs Plague in a reverse waist lock and german suplexes him over his back. The referee slides into place...1...2...3! Missy Janson - The winner of this match...and moving on to the Semifinals of the Quest For The Best Tournament...STONZE! Falcoon - HUGE upset right there. Kissens - Plague gave it his all, he couldn't have gotten much closer. Dunn - Oh well. Back to the bottom of the ladder. Falcoon - And now we have the four semifinalists...Vacant, Trent Steel, Jesse Williams and Stonze. Now we're just going to have to wait and see who faces who and in what kind of match. Kissens - Should be interesting. Missy Janson - The following match up is an Arm in a Sling Match where both men MUST wrestle with their arms in slings due to their injuries. Win by pinfall or submission. Coming to the ring first, from Huntington, New York...Chris Green! "Famous" by Puddle of Mudd hits the speakers as Chris Green hobbles out of the entrance way grabbing his arm, which is already in a sling. He winces in pain with every step as he is met with heavy boos. Kissens - Isn't he only at like sixty percent now? Dunn - So he says. Green eventually gets down to the side of the ring and steps up the steel steps, and into the ring with extreme difficulty. His music fades as he looks towards the ramp. Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California...Ray Lopes! Ray's music hits as he walks out with his arm in a sling as well but a determined look on his face. He stares deep into the eyes of Chris Green as Lopes ignores the pain and pushes down towards the ring. He climbs up the steps as the fans give him a loud reception once he gets into the ring. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Lopes walks over to Green and cracks him with a haymaker with his free left arm. It stumbles Green backwards up against the ropes but Green bounces off and is able to clothesline Lopes with his good arm. Lopes favors both his shoulder and his legs which are both very weak. Green approaches him, but Lopes is able to kick out the legs of Green and send him down to his back. Lopes stands up slowly using his left arm to balance himself before reaching down with that same left arm and grabbing a hold of Green by the hair. He drags him to a standing position and brings a hard knee up to his midsection. Green coughs and gasps for air, followed by having Lopes bring up his opposite knee to the same spot on Greens chest. Ray lets Green fall to the mat. Falcoon - Lopes is in control. Kissens - Looks like Green shouldn't even be in the ring. Chris gasps for air as Lopes rolls him over and lays on top of him...1...2...kickout by Green. Ray pushes himself up to his knees and grabs a hold of Green's head, dragging him to his feet as he stands up, only to clothesline him right back down. Ray extends his left arm and drops an elbow across the injured arm of Chris Green, who yells in pain. Lopes stands right back up and stomps on the injured arm of Green who rolls around in pain. Dunn - Lopes is really exploiting that injury! Ray reaches down and picks Green up by his arm and tosses him into the ropes. When Green bounces back, Lopes bends over and back body drops Green in the middle of the ring. Green reaches to his back with his free arm in a lot of pain as Lopes stands up and looks down at Green. He covers him and the referee drops down into place...1...2...kickout. Falcoon - Not quite yet. Ray begins to get frustrated and picks Green up. He pushes Green back into the corner and holds him there as he unleashes a few left hooks and various knees. Suddenly, from the back, Styxx and Stonze run down the ramp. Falcoon - What the hell do they want! Styxx hops up onto the apron, causing the referee to turn his back to the action and face the two men. They taunt him. Lopes sees them and leaves Green to fall to the mat to confront them. Lopes walks over yells at them a few times with his back to Green. Dunn - They're just here to make sure this is even! Just then, Green stands up and pulls the sling off of his arm. Lopes turns around and out of nowhere, Green hits the Fall From Grace diamond cutter with his "bad" arm. Kissens - IT WAS ALL A LIE! Green places the sling back on his arm and covers Lopes as Styxx and Stonze step away from the ring. The referee turns around and sees Green covering Ray and makes the count...1...2...3! Missy Janson - The winner of this match...Chris Green! Falcoon - That lying son of a bitch! Dunn - Classic Green right there. Kissens - Ray looks to be in a lot of pain. Lopes rolls to the outside of the ring and limps to the back as his shoulder is effecting his entire body. We cut to the office of President Chase Johnson. He is signing a few papers when his door is burst open by Jesse Williams who walks straight to his desk and drives his clenched fists down near the hands of CJ. CJ looks up slowly. Prez CJ - Can I help you? Jesse Williams - Yeah, you can- give me Steel. I want him in the semifinals. Prez CJ - Well, that's not up to you. Williams - You're right... Jesse grabs a hold of the collar of CJ's suit. Williams - It's up to you. And I'm telling you I want Steel. Prez CJ - Take your hands off of me before I have you arrested. Williams releases his grip. Prez CJ - Now, I am not going to sacrifice the legitamacy of this tournament just because you're protecting your godson. If it just so happens you face Steel, that's how it will happen. As of right now, your chances are split three ways. And if it does end up with Steel and Vacant and you stick your nose in that match, I will fire you on the spot. Williams' anger grows with every word that comes from CJ's mouth. Prez CJ - Now get the hell out of my office! Jesse stands speechless for a few seconds before turning and storming out. CJ goes back to his deskwork as we cut to the ring which has both corners of the ring packed with musical instruments, amplifiers and microphones. There are two seperate setups. Kissens - Looks like Jesse couldn't win that one with his boss. Dunn - No, and it may have even pushed CJ to condemn Vacant. Missy Janson - Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the first Semifinal Match of the evening. It will be a Fire, Tacks and Wire Match. Barbed wire will replace the ring ropes and bails of babred wire will be wrapped around them. Bags of tacks will be in each corner with lighter fluid and matches. Randomly, fire will shoot from the turnbuckles. The winner moves on to the Finals of the Quest For The Best Tournament...Win by pinfall or submission. The fans explode. Dunn - I'm on the edge of my seat. Missy Janson - Coming to the ring first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...Trent Steel! PA System - Now you're messing with a son of a bitch! Trent emerges from the back looking fresh and healthy. He struts down to the ring with a cocky smile upon his face. Dunn - This is exactly his type of match. Falcoon - And he injured Silkk in the cage match. Kissens - I fear for anyone who faces Steel. Dunn - Jesse wants to face him. Falcoon - Yeah, well he's crazy. Steel carefully slides under the bottom barbed wire and gets into the ring. He holds his arms up before retreating to his corner and awaiting the announcement of his opponent. Missy Janson - And his opponent from... Missy looks very distraught as she pulls the microphone away from her mouth. She sighs, before continuing with her voice shaking heavily. Missy Janson - ..Brantford, Ontario, Canada...V- Vacant! Kissens - Oh no. Oh noooo! Heavy piano chords slam out over the PA as "Bastard" by Ben Folds somberly ques in for the crowd. The curtains ripple as Vacant slips through, tugging down on the blaze orange ski mask covering his face. He is very cautious walking down to the ring as the fans give a heavily mixed reaction. He jars with a few fans on the ramp, trying to get them as pumped up as he can. They cheer him because they have grown to like him, but they boo because they are afraid of what will happen to him. Falcoon - This is no good. Look at Trent in the ring. Dunn - He's happier than a pig in shit. Vacant is very slow getting down to the side of the ring and he just stares through the barbed wire ropes looking at Steel. He doesnt take another step forward as his music fades out while Steel eggs him on. Kissens - I'd be scared too! OWF Security rushes down as Vacant begins to back paddle. The two men grab him by either arm and forcefully throw him under the bottom barbed wire rope. Once Vacant is in the ring, he locks eyes with Steel. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Trent grabs a bag of tacks and scatters them over the ring. He picks up a handful and rubs his hands together with them, causing his hands to bleed. He then walks straight towards Vacant who begins to back peddle. At all cost, Vacant avoids Steel like the black plague. Whenever Steel gets close to him, Vacant ducks out of his grasp. Trent finally grabs a hold of his arm and tries to drag him down to the mat, but Vacant wiggles free and rushes Steel. He presses him up against the bails of barbed wire back first and Steel yells in pain and Vacant reaches down, grabbing a handful of tacks and tossing them into the wide open mouth of Steel. Trent immediately begins to choke while pressed up against the barbed wire while Vacant backs off to the other side of the ring. Falcoon - That cannot be pleasant. Steel spits out the last of the tacks and pulls himself off of the barbed wire. He again walks towards Vacant, who continues to evade him. With Steel getting closer and closer, Vacant picks up the pace and avoids a wide punch from Steel. Steel is able to catch him with a follow up jab that staggers Vacant back into the corner. Fire shoots out of it and it lights his jacket on fire. Vacant falls to the mat briefly before standing up and furiously ripping his smoldering jacket off and tossing it to the outside. He glares at Steel and then bumrushes him once again and presses him backfirst into the barbed wire. Vacant digs his shoulder down into the midsection of Steel and pushes deeper and deeper into the barbed wire, tangling both men in the sharp mess. Kissens - What does he think he's doing? Dunn - I doubt he's thnking at all! Vacant presses his feet up into the barbed wire and digs deeper and deeper into the barbed wire and towards the turnbuckle, with Trent Steel's back getting absolutely mangled. Eventually, there comes a point where neither man can move because they are so tangled in the mess of barbed wire. Blood is soaking through the shirt of Vacant while blood is dripping down to the mat from the back of Trent Steel. A burst of flames shoots out and scorches the back of Trent Steel which softens the barbed wire briefly enough for both men to fall out of it and down to the mat. Falcoon - Both men have lost a lot of blood. Kissens - Rightfully so, I think. Blood begins to seep down into the mat as both men crawl in any direction they can to try to find themself. Steel crawls towards the corner, his entire back burnt and bloody from the combination of the fire and barbed wire, while Vacant rolls over to a sitting position as he keeps his eyes on Steel at all times. Trent begins pushing himself up to his feet, to which Vacant responds by doing the same thing. Vacant slowly approaches Steel, but finds himself on the receiving end of a clothesline that sends Vacant flying across the ring and down to the mat, nearly catching himself on the barbed wire. Steel walks over, reaches down and grabs a hold around the neck of Vacant and tugs him up to his feet. He tries to choke the life out of him, but Vacant stomps down on Steel's foot as hard as he can. It stuns Steel momentarily enough for Vacant to swing around him and roll him up with a school boy pinning combination. The referee slides into place...1...2...Steel tosses Vacant off of him and lifts himself up to his feet. Vacant charges, but Trent side steps and in one motion he lifts Vacant across his shoulders in a standing firemans carry. Without a second of hesitation, Steel executes a Death Valley Driver on Vacant right into the corner full of barbed wire. The impact alone is enough to hurt Vacant, but he remains hung upside down by the remains of his clothing while blood trickles down his face and has begun to form puddles in the ring. Dunn - Oh man. Falcoon - Vacant is in a very bad position right here. Kissens - He nailed the Pittsburgh Nightmare and now Vacant is losing a lot of blood. Steel falls to one knee as his amount of blood loss finally effects his brain as he approaches Vacant in the corner. Vacant's weight begins to slowly pull him down along the barbed wire, ripping and tearing the remains of the back of his shirt to bits. Steel is able to recover and get to his feet, where he rips Vacant off of the barbed wire and lays him face down in the ring. He reaches into the corner and grabs a hold of the lighter fluid, flips the cap, and begins to squirt it all over the open wounds along the back of Vacant. Falcoon - Jesus Christ! Vacant yells in pain as the flammable liquid leaks down into the multiple open gashes that have opened up. Instinctively, Vacant rolls over onto his back, which only causes him more pain with the pressure. Once the bottle is empty, Steel tosses it to the outside. He walks back over to the corner and grabs the box of matches and walks back towards Vacant who is now on all fours. Dunn - He's gonna burn him! Suddenly, Vacant stands up and pulls a small water bottle from his pocket and with all of his might, he squeezes it. The top of the plastic bottle shoots off and hits Steel right in the eye. Following that, the entire content of water shoots onto the hands of Trent Steel, completely soaking the matches in water and ruining them as Steel rubs his eye trying to stop the irriation from the plastic cap. Vacant uses all his might once again and takes Steel down with a drop toe hold. Vacant holds his back in pain as he stands back up and waits for Steel to rise. Kissens - He's very lucky he came prepared with that bottle. Otherwise he'd be toast. Dunn - Heavily burnt toast. Steel slowly gets up to his feet, turning around with a look of rage in his eyes. He is able to grab a hold of Vacant by this arms and toss him towards the barbed wire, and Steel runs right behind him. Vacant somersaults out of the way of the wire as Steel leaps and catches himself on top of the barbed wire, half inside of the ring and half outside. He yells in pain as Vacant pulls himself up, and sees Steel in this perdicament. Falcoon - Again Vacant lucks out! Vacant carefully rolls under the bottom of the barbed wire and pulls himself up to a very weary stance on the outside of the ropes on the apron. He walks slowly to where Steel is, and Vacant climbs up the barbed wire. He plants each boot firmly as he escalates and in one quick move, flips over the back of Steel and nails a sunset flip powerbomb, followed by a roll up onto the bed of tacks from the beginning of the match. Steel is stunned as the referee slides into place...1...2...3! Missy Janson - The winner of this match and the first Quest For The Best Finalist...VACANT! Falcoon - I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! Kissens - The Vacancy does it again! Dunn - EVERY MOVE IS THE VACANCY! Vacant slides out of the ring and runs up the ramp. He goes over and slaps give with a few of the more rowdy fans at ringside. His blood splatters all over them, and they love every moment of it. Falcoon - Vacant is gaining some fanbase! Soon he sees Steel get up to his feet. Vacant runs backstage as the fans explode the loudest they have all night. Ring technicians comes down and begin to take apart the barbed wire ropes and clean the ring of the tacks. Dunn - That little bastard! Kissens - He is going to the finals! Falcoon - And Trent Steel is not. Vacant disappears behind the curtains with the fans still cheering for him while Steel is livid in the ring. We see the man in red walk slowly down to the ring with a microphone. Falcoon - He's back! Man in Red - Oh how the mighty have fallen Mr. Steel. What nothing smart ass to say this time. Trent crawls over to the ringside area and calls for a mic. Trent Steel - Ladies and Gentlemen. I hate to be the spoil sport. Hey Jason! Take off that fucking mask fucker! The man in red stops and we see a look of surprise on his face. Trent Steel - Take if off Jason I haven't got all night you fuck. The man in red takes off his mask. It's Jason Blood. The crowd screams out as Cult of Steel fans start going insane. Jason Blood - What gave it away? Trent Steel - You've worn masks for how many years in the ring. Come on Jas. I recognized your eyes last week when you fucked with me. So you trying to save me is that it? Is that what this is all about Jason? Well I got news for you. I got something you need to hear. Trent pulls a black box from his pants and tosses it at Jason. Trent Steel - Tell Jen I'm sorry but I can't be her husband if she can't accept me. So as of right now. I got no reason. Not to fucking break you in half! Jason Blood - I've broke you before Trent! I will fucking do it again! Why the hell are you being so selfish? Why the fuck are you doing this to your wife, to you kids...fuck man your doing this to ME! Trent Steel - Cry me a fucking river emo kid. Jason Blood - As of next week I am offically out of retirement Trent. Just to put your ass back in it! Trent Steel - Why wait! Let's go! Jason charges the ring as both men start beating the hell out of each other. Jason tosses Trent into the barbed wire, which stuns him. Trent ducks and Jason does a cresent kick connects with Trent's jaw sending him flying. Trent lands on the outside of the ring and looks back up at Jason. Jason rips off of the top of his red suit and shows off the fact that he is built like a tank. Trent gets up and smiles. He starts walking to the back. Jason Blood grabs the mic. Jason Blood - Don't tell me your already running scared Trent. Trent mouths out something that we zoom in with the camera to see. Trent Steel - How about a little fire asshole? Trent pulls out a remote and clicks it. Fire erupts from the ring posts and Jason Blood dives to the center of the ring. He looks scared shitless. Trent Steel - Whose scared now? Trent starts walking to the back. Jason waits until the fire goes out before he gets up. He scowls up towards the entrance way as the technicians disassemble the fire cannons in the corner and begin restringing the ropes. Falcoon - Jason Blood is in OWF. And it looks like the bad blood between Trent Steel and Jason Blood is going to erupt over the next few weeks. Dunn - These guys are the best of friends. Jason is Trent's brother in law. We might actually see Trent Steel taken down by the man who knows him the best. Kissens - As long as it isn't a inferno match.
Falcoon - Well folks, I think we're all aware that the last Semifinal match is going to be a Last Man Standing Match between Stonze and Jesse Williams. Dunn - Those two are going to lock horns once again. Kissens - Once they clean up the ring, I'd hope. We cut to the back where again we see Vacant running through the hallways. He rushes up to the door of Jesse and bursts into it where he finds Jesse watching his monitor. Vacant - Jesse! I DID IT! Williams slowly turns his head towards Vacant and stands up. Jesse Williams - I told you not to be around me. Vacant - I know, but I just had to come see you and say thanks for these! Vacant produces a few video tapes that he took from Jesse's house, from a bag he grabbed on the way from his locker room. Vacant - It also taught me a lot about you. Williams - Nicholas, get the fuck out of my sight. My match is next and I don't need you here to pester me some more. Vacant - Okay, okay! He turns and leaves, once again leaving Jesse by himself. Williams - I have to beat Stonze to make sure Nicholas is alright. I have to. Jesse turns towards the door and exits as the cameras cut back to the announcers. The ring has been cleared completely as the technicians disappear backstage. Falcoon - Looks like Jesse is getting pretty torn out there. Dunn - And he's still going to have a long night ahead of him. Kissens - That is, if everything goes according to plan. Falcoon - Well, we're about to find out if it's still on track. Missy Janson - The following match up is the second Semifinal match up. The winner moves on to face Vacant in a sixty minute Iron Man Match in the Quest For The Best Finals. It is a Last Man Standing match. In order to win, you must keep your opponent down on the mat for atleast ten seconds. Coming to the ring first, from Saginaw, Michigan...Stonze! "Cowboys From Hell" hits the speakers once again as Stonze slowly walks out, still sore from his previous match. He is still booed heavily as he trots down the ramp with his eyes set on the center of the ring. As he reaches the side of the ring he grabs a hold of the middle rope and uses it to pull himself up to one knee on the apron, before standing up and pulling himself inside of the ring. His music fades out as he stares at the ramp. Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada....Jesse Williams! PA System - NOW YOU'RE DOING THE WALTZ WITH YOUR MURDERER! "Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste" hits the PA System and Jesse emerges from behind the curtains with a slight limp. His eyes seem dead focused on Stonze as he ignores the great fan reaction as he steps down the ramp. He gets to the foot of the ramp before taking two quick steps and sliding under the bottom rope. He pushes himself up and he charges at Stonze, starting the match. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Jesse takes down Stonze with a hard lariat, to which Stonze hops right back up. Jesse looks for a right hand but finds nothing but thin air as Stonze is able to avoid his strike and take Jesse down to the mat. The two men roll around, fighting tooth and nail to get the upper hand on the other. Eventually Jesse gets on top and grabs Stonze in a side headlock, but he is easily able to push himself back up to his feet while Williams keeps the headlock on tightly. Stonze brings his right elbow up to the midsection of Jesse which bends him over slightly. Again Stonze brings the same right elbow up into the gut of Jesse. He throws Jesse off of him and sends him straight into the ropes. Jesse bounces off and connects with Stonze with a shoulder block that sends him down to his back. Jesse drops a quick elbow to the chest of Stonze before hopping right back up and bouncing off the ropes. Stonze dives at the feet of Williams, who hops over Stonze and bounces off the opposite set of ropes. He runs back and attempts a clothesline, but Stonze grabs Jesse's arm and tosses him down with an arm drag right into an arm bar. Falcoon - These two clearly didn't get a big enough piece of each other in the Tag Match. Dunn - They're battling back and forth now for that final spot in the Iron Man Match. Stonze wrenches on the arm of Jesse, who kicks his legs and gets up to a kneeling position. Stonze turns the arm bar into a hammerlock as both men stand back up. Williams throws his elbow backwards, catching Stonze in the side of the face and releasing his arm. Williams spins around, grabs the head of Stonze and plants him down to the mat with a firm DDT. Williams hops right up as Stonze stays down. The referee begins to count him down. 1...2... Stonze pushes himself up to all fours. 3...4... He gets up to one knee before Jesse runs at him and nails a shining wizard knee right to the face that sends Stonze crumbling back first down to the mat. Williams wastes no time as he doesn't allow the referee to make the count, instead, he keeps stomping across the ribcage of the fallen Stonze. He reaches down, grabbing Stonze by the arm and dragging him back first up against the ropes. Williams nails a knife edge chop across the broad chest of Stonze, before whipping him across the ring. When he comes back, Jesse lifts him up and nails a tilt a whirl slam right in the middle of the ring. Williams backs off again as he stands up and lets the referee count as Stonze struggles to get up. 1...2... Stonze rolls over onto his side and places both of his hands flat on the mat. 3...4...5... He pushes himself up in a push up position and uses the ropes to balance himself. 6... Stonze pulls himself up to his feet ending the count and immediately nails an approaching Williams with a haymaker that staggers him backwards. Stonze charges and spears Jesse down to the mat before mounting him and unleashing a fury of punches directly to his face. Jesse does the best he can to block most of the strikes, but instead rolls over once he realizes his blocking isn't as effective as he would hope. He and Stonze roll under the bottom rope and crash down to the floor where the two men continue to beat on each other with no remorse. Kissens - This isn't a wrestling match...it's a war. Stonze gets the upper hand, laying on top of Jesse and pushing himself up and following up with a soccer kick right across the chest of Jesse. Williams falls to his back as his grasps his chest, gasping for air, while Stonze reaches down and grabs a handful of Jesse's hair. The referee joins them on the outside as Stonze charges towards the ringpost and tosses Williams as hard as he can, shoulder first, into the steel ring steps. Jesse crashes into them, sending both sets of adjoining stairs flying with the sickening thud as he hits. Dunn - Williams just fell flat to the ground after being tossed into those steps. Falcoon - Stonze seems to be backing off a bit. The referee steps forwards and begins to count Jesse down. 1...2... Williams grabs a hold of the skirt of the apron and pulls himself up to his knees. 3...4...5... He picks himself up to his feet and stumbles towards Stonze who back body drops him, back first, onto the guardrail around the ring. Jesse lays half and half on the guardrail as Stonze hops up to the apron. He leaps off, nailing a twisting leg drop across the throat of Jesse which sends him flipping down off the guardrail, face first down onto the concrete on the outside of the ring. Both men lay on the ground, with Stonze the first to push himself up. He limps around a bit, trying to walk off the pain. Meanwhile, the referee stands next to Jesse and begins to count for him again. 1...2... Falcoon - Stonze is in completely control here. Kissens - Jesse is going to have to be careful. 3...4... Jesse grabs a hold of the guardrail and uses it to drag himself back up to one knee. 5...6... Jesse gets up to his feet as Stonze turns around and decks him with a clothesline. Stonze follows up by dragging Jesse around the outside of the ring towards the announcers booth by his hair, before laying him up against the side of the spanish announcers table. Stonze brings knee after knee up to the jaw of Jesse's face, before he falls to his side motionless on the outside. Stonze doesn't allow the referee to count Jesse down, instead, he lifts him up and quickly tackles him over the announcers booth. Falcoon - Watch out Pedro! The spanish announcers run for cover while Stonze and Williams tumble over the announcers table and crash to the concrete floor between the table and the guardrail. Stonze lands on top and begins to punish Jesse, but Jesse is able to regain his momentum and kicks Stonze off of him. Stonze climbs up onto the announcers table, dragging Jesse up by his hair and standing him up there as well. Both men duke it out, with Stonze landing a chance right hand that staggers Jesse back. He steps off of the table and backwards onto the guardrail to avoid more strikes. As he gets out of reach of Stonze, Jesse brings a hard kick up to his midsection, followed by a sharp elbow to Stonze's right temple. He becomes dazed, and Jesse hooks grabs Stonze in a front face lock. He tosses his arm over Jesse's head and hooks his leg, setting him up for a fishermans suplex. The fans begin to go nuts, but Stonze swings and hits right hand to the ribs of Jesse, which prevents him from executing the move. Stonze then nails a hard forearm to the same area of the rib cage of Jesse, which stuns Williams. Kissens - I don't like this. Out of nowhere, Williams pulls Stonze up off the announcers table, lifting him straight up into the air with a fishermans suplex. Instead of falling back into the crowd, Williams uses Stonze's hooked leg and swings him back down towards the announcers table and nails a sitout powerbomb through the table which sends both men for a loop on the outside. Dunn - Beyond the Citadel of Coup de Grace! The fans are going nuts, but neither competitor seems to be moving. The referee begins to count for both men. 1...2... Falcoon - Please not another triple threat finals. Williams rolls over onto his stomach while Stonze lays on his side gasping for air. 3...4...5... Williams grabs a hold of the guardrail and pulls himself up to both knees on top of the shattered table. Stonze begins picking himself up as well. 6...7... Jesse gets up to his feet, and staggers around. Stonze is on one knee and looks to be getting back up. 8... Out of nowhere Jesse nails a superkick on Stonze before he can get up, continuing the count. Kissens - SUPERKICK! 9... Jesse holds himself up barely as the referee counts the last number. 10... He calls for the bell. Missy Janson - The winner of this match and moving on to the Quest For The Best Finals for a second straight year...Jesse Williams! Quickly ring technicians run out, holding amplifiers and musical instruments as Jesse slips out of the ring holding his arm up in a bit of pain. Falcoon - So it's going to be one of the most anticipated matches in the OWF's history...Vacant versus his godfather, Jesse Williams in a sixty minute Iron Man Match. Dunn - And next up we're going to have the Battle of the Bands! Kissens - I'm very excited. Both men make their exit as the technicians quickly begin setting up each stage for the band in the ring. With about twenty men to the crew, it is light work hooking everything up. Falcoon - Who you guys got winning? Dunn - It's gonna be Jesse. Kissens - Jesse all the way. Dunn - He's definitely going to dominate him in the ring. Falcoon - But Vacant has been on fire tonight. Dunn - Yeah...literally! Williams has been looking for this for a while. Kissens - I agree completely. Falcoon - I don't. I think Vacant is gonna squeak this one out. Kissens - You're wrong. Dunn - Way wrong. Falcoon - We'll have to wait on that, now we're about to be treated to two musical performances! The technicians finish up and the roadies make sure everything is place, and they give Missy the thumbs up. Missy Janson - The next match is a Battle of the Bands Match. The two competitors will fight for a timed ten minutes, with PDA Rules applying to all items inside the ring related to each others set ups. At the end of ten minutes, each competitor will be joined by their band to perform one song to the crowd. Coming to the ring first, from Blaise, California...Moxie Roxie! PA System - Everyone sucks but me. Riot girls across the arena unite, as the irritatingly feminist pop punk beat of Le Tigre's "Deceptacon"(which has surprisingly little to do with evil transforming robots) bleeds through the PA. The up tempo tune unites fans of poor and average taste in a show of approval for OWF's resident rock star. The curtain parts, revealing our priestess of punk, who throws up the devil horns with one hand. After playing with the height of the international symbol for rock 'n' roll, she notices she has the ability to control the volume of the crowd. Deciding this ability is useless, Moxie begins her trek to the ring. It is a trek free of skipping and hand slapping. She just tries to keep her distance. Leaping to the apron, Moxie heads to the nearest corner and steps up on the second turnbuckle. Giving a bow to her indiscernable number of fans, she flips into the ring to prepare for action and taking in her set up. Missy Janson - And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California...Greg Jackson! PA System - California love! Greg Jackson walks out from the back swinging a white towel around as the fans cheer him loudly. He runs into the ring as a digital clock is put up on the OWF Tron. His music slowly fades as he looks at all the gear and nods in approval before facing Moxie. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) Greg runs across the ring and runs past Moxie and puts his foot right through one of her amps. She cringes in horror as Jackson begins going to town, kicking and puncing everything in sight on Moxie's set up. Moxie charges him and jumps on his back, tackling him through the drumset. All the drumheads burst as Moxie begins to pound away at Jackson. He is able to lift her up and tackle her back first into one of the big amplifiers which tips over and crashes to the mat. A snap is heard as it hits and sparks fly while both competitors continue to fight in the middle of Moxie's set up. Falcoon - Poor Moxie...We're about two and a half minutes in and none of Jackson's stuff has been touched. Greg gets the upper hand once again and leaves Moxie flat on her back. He grabs a hold of the bass guitar and slams the neck right through the large orange amplifier, followed by grabbing one of the microphones and shredding the wires apart. Moxie stands up and leaps at Jackson, nailing a dropkick that knocks him down to one knee. As he is on a knee he picks up a stack of guitar pedals and throws them at the face of Moxie. She falls down to both knees as Jackson stands up and stomps away on all of the pedals, smashing them to pieces. Dunn - Little under five minutes left and Greg is looking good. Greg turns around only to have Moxie drive her shoulder into his midsection and push him backwards towards his set. They crash through the drumset, sending the drums everywhere as they go back and forth with rights and lefts. Moxie stands up and grabs one of the microphone stands with the microphone still held in it and cracks it over the back of Jackson as he lays on his stomach. She then stomps on the microphone, cracking it into pieces. She turns and heads for the guitar but Greg tackles her from behind and hops over her. He runs full speed at her set and dropkicks the last two amplifiers, sending them over on their backs as sparks fly from them both. Moxie looks on as she sees everything basically destroyed and she chop blocks Greg from behind. She continues to stomp on him with everything she has, not even concentrating on his setup any longer. She picks up one of the frayed microphone wires and begins to choke Jackson with it. Falcoon - I guess she's going to try to ruin his voice. Kissens - She's gotta do somethin y'all...Only a minute left. Jackson stands up to his feet and pulls the wire off from around his neck. He turns around and clotheslines Moxie down to the mat before collapsing himself. Both competitors gasp for air as they struggle to get to their feet. They both push themselves up and are about to strike each other when the bell sounds. Missy Janson - The ten minutes are up...Will Moxie Roxie's band please come out. Your performance is first. Harley and Sparrow Myers walk out from the back to cheers from the female crowd. They quickly get into the ring and approach the carnage left by the battle. With her set completely destroyed, Moxie finds out that it is going to be impossible to perform an electric set. She grabs the microphone from the hand of Missy. Moxie Roxie - Okay, okay...I'm going to perform acousic for you! She is handed a pink fender electric guitar, and she slides the strap over her back. As she tries to perform her song the fans boo loudly. It is impossible to hear the guitar since it isn't meant to be played acoustic, and Moxie is getting flustered. She drops the guitar after only a few bars, and drops the microphone as walks back into her corner. Missy grabs the microphone off the mat. Missy Janson - And now, will Greg Jackson's bandmates please come out. That dude from Loverboy, the cousin of Fred Durst -- Ted Durst, and Courtney Love all come out waiving white towels and holding boxes full of white towels which they throw out for the fans to distribute. Within seconds the entire crowd is swinging the towels around. All three of them get into the ring, with Ted Durst and Courtney Love picking up microphones and That guy from Loverboy picking up the only guitar that isn't smashed and plugging it into the only amp that isn't caved in. Greg grabs the last microphone and all four members stare at each other. The guitars begin to play softly as we hear Greg speaking over the music. Greg Jackson - Baby... you've seen my
love. I show it to ya all the time. The guitars play a bit louder and faster as we hear a bass line and drums kick in over some speakers. Ted Durst steps forward and begins rapping. Ted Durst - W-w-w-what WHAT! G-Jack comin'
back! Clickity clack! Ticky Tac baby! Greg begins to sing again as Durst ends his rap. Greg Jackson - We do this all the time... Courtney Love - Not this time Greg. Greg Jackson - You know my love it tastes
like, Courtney Love - Oh Greg, how you've made
me come around. Greg Jackson - That's real nice babe, now
get the fuck out of my room! Ted Durst - Cinnamon Toast Crunch won't taste the same again! Greg Jackson - You know my love it tastes
like, Ted Durst - CINNAMON TASTES SO SWEET! The fans all begin to cheer loudly for the performance. Greg takes a bow as Moxie leaves the ring, with Jackson jogging past her and to the back in a rush. Missy Janson - The winner of the Battle of the Bands Match...Greg Jackson! Quickly the ring crew comes out to clear the ring of the mess left by the ten minute path of destruction that hit the ring. Falcoon - That song was dirty as hell. Dunn - I loved it. It's on my iPod already! Kissens - Mine too! Falcoon - Ugh. Sometimes I really hate this job. We cut to the back. The cameras catch Vacant as he waits outside of Moxie's dressing room, catching her as she heads back from the ring. Vacant - Hey! Hey Moxie! Can I get your autograph? Moxie Roxie - Listen kid- Vacant - Seriously, you were incredible out there. You had me rivoted the whole performance. I've got to get the album. Moxie Roxie - Well.. thanks. Good to know at least somebody here appreciates talent. Vacant - Honest, you were amazing. I couldn't take my eyes off you. I've still got a little time before the finals. Why don't we sit down for a bit? I'd love to hear another song. Maybe get to know each other better. Voice from closet - Yeah, baby! Yeah! The Blackjack's got enough left for Round 3. Take it off, girl. You know you want it. Moxie Roxie - Did I just hear Greg Jackson? Vacant - Uhhhh, no, but I think I hear Jesse calling me...COMING JESSE! Vacant, clearly hearing nothing runs out of the locker room like a scolded dog. Slowly, Moxie's closet opens and Greg Jackson emerges holding a video camera. He slowly tip toes past Moxie, who is staring right at him as he exits her locker room. Once he gets into the hallway, he gets into a full sprint and disappears as we cut back to the ring, where again we see Missy Janson standing in the center with a microphone in her hand. Missy Janson - Ladies and gentlemen. It is time for the Quest For The Best Finals Match. The fans explode in cheers that shake the foundation. Falcoon - These fans are amped! Missy Janson - It is a sixty minute Iron Man Match. The competitor with the most pinfalls or submissions at the end of sixty minutes will be crowned The Best of 2008 and fifteen minutes after the match, will face Angel for the OWF Triple Crown Championship. Dunn - That will be no easy task. Missy Janson - Coming to the ring first, from Brantford, Ontario, Canada...He got into the finals by securing victories over Piter Svoboda in the qualifier, Shyne in the Quarterfinals and Trent Steel in the Semifinals...Here is Vacant! Heavy piano chords slam out over the PA as "Bastard" by Ben Folds somberly ques in for the crowd. The curtains ripple as Vacant slips through, tugging down on the blaze orange ski mask covering his face, and begins the long stride down the ramp in the midst of a loud round of applause for his accomplishments tonight. He scans the crowd briefly as he walks, before tearing his attention back to the ring and forcing himself to focus, climbing up the ring steps and taking a seat on the top turnbuckle bolt, elbows on his knees, waiting for Jesse Williams to help break through his shell of inexperience. Dunn - This is about to get very personal. Missy Janson - And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada...He got into the finals by securing victories over Alexis Cage in the qualifier, Ray Lopes in the Quarterfinals and Stonze in the Semifinals...Here is Jesse Williams! The lights cut to black. PA System - NOW YOU'RE DOING THE WALTZ WITH YOUR MURDERER! The lights come back up to a normal setting as Jesse walks out from the back. He looks sluggish and injured, but he trys to shrug off the pain. He holds a bottle of water in his hand as he slowly struts down the ramp. He takes his time walking towards the ring, making sure to take in all his surroundings. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and stops as the music starts to kick back in. Walk around the room with a glaze in your
stare. YEAH! He slides into the ring, staring right at Vacant the entire time while the repeated pounding of the drums resonates in the minds of all the fans watching him. He walks to the side of the ring closest to the cameras. He places his left foot on the middle rope, and his right foot on the top rope before looking back down at Vacant. Mediocrity is the killer. You find yourself helpless. Strobe lights flicker all over the arena as Jesse climbs back down off the ropes and gets into his corner. He begins stretching, using the ropes and getting himself prepared. He laid emeralds in her eyes, And we painted crooked lines, All I know now is regret, The music dies down and Williams stands up straight, staring across to Vacant who hops off the turnbuckle and stands in his corner. The referee calls for the bell and the fans explode into a roar of cheers. (Ding, Ding, Ding...) 60:00 Again the fans explode for this monumental occasion. Falcoon - Now we finally get to see how Jesse is going to handle this. Kissens - And how many falls he'll win by. Williams and Vacant slowly limp towards the center of the ring, each nursing their injuries while staring at each other directly in the eyes. Williams extends his hand, to which Vacant responds by extending his. Once they lock hands, Williams whips around Vacant and locks him in a hammerlock for a few brief moments, not really tugging on Vacant's arm as hard as he usually would. He pushes Vacant off and into the ropes. He glares back at Jesse who has a smile on his face while he shakes his head. Dunn - He's schooling the boy, it seems. Williams motions for Vacant to bring it on, and he does. He runs at Jesse and baseball slides between his legs. When Vacant stands up, Jesse flings his leg up for a superkick but stops his foot a few inches infront of the chin of Vacant, who falls down to a sitting position after being startled. Jesse holds up one finger and can be seen saying.. Williams - That's one. Falcoon - That could have been the first fall. Dunn - And Jesse is making sure Vacant knows it. Jesse looks down, extending his hand once again. Vacant looks aprehensive, but extends his. Jesse lifts Vacant up, but immediately lifts him up to a standing firemans carry position. He spins himself around in circles, taking Vacant for a ride before stopping and letting him back down on his feet. Vacant, dizzy from the spinning, stumbles all over the ring while Jesse stares at this godson and laughs. Vacant grabs a hold of the ropes and tugs himself up and stumbles into the clutches of Jesse. Williams doesn't react, except pushing Vacant off of him and up against the ropes. Williams runs, to which Vacant ducks and attempts The Vacancy but Jesse telegraphs it and stops dead before the bent over Vacant. He smacks him across the back of the head, hard enough to make a point but soft enough not to hurt him, before stepping back and bouncing back and forth from his right leg to his left leg, showing how fresh he is. Kissens - Vacant isn't going to be able to surprise Jesse like he was able to do to the others before. Falcoon - That could prove crucial. Vacant circles around Jesse who just lays in wait for Vacant to make his next move. Dunn - Looks like Jesse is going to take it easy and give Angel his all in the Main Event. Kissens - Makes sense. He wouldn't want to humiliate the boy. Vacant ties up with Jesse, who quickly twirls around his back and holds him in a reverse waist lock. Vacant throws an elbow back, but there isn't enough force to get Williams to break the hold. He tries running towards the ropes, but Jesse keeps his grasp on Vacant. Eventually, Jesse pushes Vacant face first towards the turnbuckle. He runs full speed at it, and at the last second, Vacant steps up to the second rope followed by the top rope with both feet and moonsaults backwards towards Jesse. Williams catches Vacant over his shoulder. Dunn - J-Dubz Driver!
50:35 Instead of driving him head first into the mat, Williams puts Vacant back on his feet. Once again, Jesse shakes his head and awaits the next attack from Vacant while holding up two fingers now. Dunn - That was the second fall right there. Falcoon - Jesse isn't going one hundred percent here. Kissens - He's still on top of his game, but he's just not executing moves. Vacant falls to one knee, trying to regain his breath while also trying to ignore the pain he feels throughout his entire body. Jesse's eyes remain focused on Vacant, giving him room to recover and not following up. Vacant is able to push himself up to his feet, but is still very winded. He tries to walk off the pain, but it is almost unbearable. He puts both of his hands on his knees and bends over, trying to push the thoughts of the immense pain to his subconscious when Jesse comes from behind and pulls Vacant's legs out from under him. A very minor move, but just something to rattle Vacant. Dunn - He's doing the least amount of damage he possibly can. Kissens - I thought he would be dominating this and wanting to win no matter who he faced. Falcoon - That is the old Jesse Williams, it seems. Williams steps back, with the fans still compelled to see if Vacant can pull something out of thin air. As he pulls himself up with the help of the ropes, he staggers back into the middle of the ring where Jesse grabs the orange ski mask and spins the eye holes around to the back of his head. The crowd laughs while Vacant walks around the ring like a zombie before bumping into the referee and falling down to a sitting position. He readjusts his mask and gets back up to his feet, running at Jesse and nailing a shoulder charge right into his chest. Jesse doesn't budge and Vacant falls flat to his back. He rolls away quickly, swinging himself back up to his feet and charging. He sees an opening as Jesse throws a wide clothesline. Vacant hooks his arm, floats around his back and uses Jesse's momentum to carry him face first down into the mat. Dunn - There we go! The fans cheer for Vacant's first offensive move of the night. Falcoon - That was all planning by Vacant, he must have scouted Jesse to see that coming. Williams is stunned as he lays face down on the mat, but he quickly pushes himself up while Vacant takes in the fan reaction. Jesse comes up behind him and pushes him face first into the ropes. Vacant bounces off of them and stumbles back, right into a cobra clutch hold by Jesse. He doesn't lock it up completely and stays standing, but he applies enough pressure to cause discomfort. Vacant places his feet up on the middle rope, then cimbs them up to the top rope before using them to flip himself over and out of the cobra clutch. He looks for a reverse DDT, but again Jesse holds him over his shoulder in a front powerslam position. This time, he tosses Vacant off his shoulder, but he lands right on his feet. Once he lands, he hops to the middle rope and spring boards towards Jesse, catching him across the brow with a snap kick. Williams stumbles back, causing Vacant to charge and attempt a dropkick. Jesse is able to grab a hold of the ropes and pull himself out of the way of the dropkick and Vacant crashes down to his back. 38:52 Dunn - Still all tied up at one, and we're nearing the half way point of this match. Vacant holds his back while Jesse hangs on the ropes, shaking his head trying to end the effects of the kick from Vacant. Williams slowly approaches Vacant, who turn out to be playing possum as he sweeps out the legs of Jesse. Williams quickly counters by locking Vacant in a side headlock and wrenching hard for a few seconds to show him some tough love. After about a half minute of constant pressure, Jesse releases a bit of tension on his grip around the throat of Vacant. Quickly, he rolls over his back, releasing the headlock and hooks Vacant up with an arm bar. Vacant kicks his legs violently as again, Jesse applies enough pressure to cause some pain for a few moments before loosening the hold. Falcoon - Jesse is saying, you wanna go to the ground...Then lets go! Kissens - I guess Vacant assumed Jesse wasn't too prolific in being a submission wrestler. Williams then rolls down towards the legs of Vacant, grapevining a single leg and wrenching back on it. Vacant again yells in pain, but refuses to give up even as the referee is continually asking him. Williams loosens the hold again before letting go and standing up over Vacant who holds the various parts of his body that Williams just exploited. Jesse holds up his right hand, with all five fingers extended. Dunn - He could have made him tap with any of those moves. Falcoon - I know he's trying to motivate Vacant, but I think he's just making him more and more hotheaded. Kissens - That's what the Perry's are known best for. He steps back, waiting for Vacant to get up to his feet. It takes a few moments but Vacant gets to his feet and stares at Jesse while holding onto his right arm in a bit of pain. Jesse points up at the clock which reads less than thirty two minutes left in the match. When he turns back, he finds Vacant bumrushing him and pushing Jesse back first up against the ropes. He grabs a hold of Jesse's leg and tries to dump him over, but Williams fights it. The two jockey for momentum before Williams grabs a hold of Vacant around his waist and tumbles backwards, bring Vacant over the top rope with him as both men crash down to the concrete floor. Dunn - Outsmarted again. Kissens - Yeah but that still caused Jesse damage. Falcoon - I think that still counts as a Vacancy. Kissens - It must. Dunn - Great, so four offensive moves for him in half an hour. Bravo! 30:00 Falcoon - Folks we are already halfway through this match and it is still tied at zero a piece. Williams is the first to get up on the outside as all the fans ringside stand up to their feet. Jesse grabs a hold of Vacant by his head and lifts him up. Vacant, again playing possum, rushes Jesse and pushes him back first into the steel ring steps. Jesse holds his back in pain, to which Vacant backs off and charges at him. At the last possible moment, Williams rolls to the side and Vacant crashes with his right shoulder right into the steel steps, sending them flying in different directions. Dunn - Veteran move by Jesse. Kissens - It has to be just instinct. Falcoon - You can tell both men are extremely tired, but they are putting on a show. Both men lay on the outside gasping for air, with Vacant wincing in an extreme amount of pain in his right arm. He clutches it with his left hand while laying on the hurt shoulder. Meanwhile, Jesse has gotten up to all fours and has begun to use the guard rail to help himself up. Jesse stands up and walks towards Vacant, grabbing him by his left arm and carefully rolling him into the ring. Williams is close to follow him in as he slides under the bottom rope as well. Williams gets up to one knee, gasping for air while Vacant continues to hold his right arm. Jesse backs off, gaining back his composure and allowing Vacant to recover. The fans applaud both men, as Vacant begins to stand up, for their accomplishments tonight alone. Vacant gets to his feet and Jesse approaches, but Vacant sees him coming and catches Williams with an open palm to the bridge of his nose which staggers Jesse. Vacant bounces off the ropes and comes flying back. He dives and catches Jesse across the jaw with a dropkick that sends Jesse down to the mat motionless for only a few seconds. Dunn - Cover him, dickhead! Vacant is too exhausted to crawl to Jesse, instead he chooses to use his energy to stand up and prepare for Jesse's next assault. Williams rolls up to his knees and uses his hands to slowly push himself up to a standing position. Vacant is waiting and nails a hard kick to the back of Jesse's knee which almost buckles and sends him to the mat, but he catches his weight on the top rope. Vacant runs up behind Jesse and grabs a hold of his legs and tries to dump Jesse over the top rope with The Vacancy. Kissens - He's gonna do what he did to Shyne to Jesse. Dunn - He has to use the momentum of the top rope, he doesn't have enough strength to lift these guys who outweigh him by seventy pounds. Williams remains planted to the mat and is able to push Vacant off of him and down to a crouched position on the mat. Williams turns and Vacant attempts a toe kick, but Jesse catches it. Quickly Vacant attempts an ensiguri, but Williams ducks and Vacant falls face first to the mat. Williams backs off and Vacant lays on the mat, with the wind knocked out of him. 19:46 Falcoon - These competitors are running out of time! Kissens - Lets be honest, y'all. Jesse can end this whenever he wants. Dunn - That's probably true. Kissens - Almost twenty minutes is more than enough time. Jesse breathes heavily as Vacant is slow to push himself off of the mat. The time between interactions of the two is getting longer and longer, yet the anticipation is building and building as each fan is thrilled to see this long awaited match. Vacant gets up to his feet, completely unaware of his surrounds. He throws a kick at the referee who narrowly moves. Falcoon - Oh man. Vacant realizes that is the referee and turns around to face Jesse. He adjusts his mask a bit and notices Jesse is smiling at him. Infuriated, Vacant runs full speed at Jesse. Williams leap frogs Vacant and he crashes face first into the turnbuckle and stumbles out backwards, before tripping over his own feet and falling to a seated position on the mat as he holds his forehead. Jesse grabs him around his chest and lifts Vacant to his feet, leaning him back first up against the ropes. He backs off, allowing Vacant to recooperate, while also playing it smart for himself. Kissens - Time is winding down. Dunn - It'll be over soon, Vacant is having too many difficulties. Vacant eventually pushes himself off the ropes and towards Jesse with his fists up. Williams approaches but out of nowhere, Vacant spins around and nails a hard kick to the side of his jaw. This sends both men tumbling down to the mat and the fans up out of their seats. 14:47 Both men lay flat on their backs gasping for air. Chants of each competitors name are heard in the crowd, split about evenly. Kissens - I can't tell who they want to win. Falcoon - They probably won't be sure who they want to win until the match is over. Dunn - And then they'll bitch. At about the same time, they both roll over onto their sides and glance at each others progress. They both struggle to be the first man back to their feet with Jesse getting up to one knee while Vacant is on all fours and crawling towards the ropes. Williams grabs a hold of the top rope and tries to pull himself up, but his knee gives out and he falls back to a kneeling position. Meanwhile, Vacant has both of his arms hooked over the middle rope and is looking out to the crowd. The fans on his side cheer for him, which prompts him to ignore the pain and grab a hold of the top rope. Williams hooks his left elbow over the top rope and drags himself up as he leans over the top rope in a standing position facing the crowd. The fans on his side of the ring cheer for him loudly, which pushes him onward. Falcoon - Both of these guys are giving it their all right now. Kissens - You sure about that? I think if Jesse was he'd have a ton of falls stacked up. Both men stand up and face off in the center of the ring. The fans explode in a round of cheers and applause as each of them nurse their various injuries and their chests pump in and out trying to catch their breath. 09:58 Falcoon - Less than ten minutes left. Dunn - You know what's sad? Neither of these guys are going to be a threat to Angel. A bit of small talk happens in the middle of the ring. Williams again extends his hand. Kissens - Don't do it. Vacant extends his and as soon as he grabs Jesse's hand, he twists his arm around his back with a hammerlock to which the fans roar loudly in response to. Vacant tugs hard, enough to give Jesse a bit of pain, but he pulls free. Williams smiles and nods and again motions for Vacant to bring it on. Vacant runs at him with everything he has and again baseball slides between Jesse's legs. This time Vacant remains with his back on the mat, waiting for Jesse to turn around. As soon as he does, Vacant extends both of his boots upwards towards his face. At the last second, Jesse is able dodge the strike attempt and grab both of Vacant's legs. He spreads them and pulls him back into a wheel barrell position. He swings Vacant up into the air, but as he does, Vacant grabs a hold of Jesse's head and attempts a bulldog when Jesse's momentum pushes Vacant down. Jesse's strength stops the bulldog from happening, and instead he attempts a high angle back suplex on Vacant. Vacant's agility allows him to flip over his back and land on his feet. Dunn - Now they're going at it with the last bit of energy they have. Falcoon - I have to agree with your earlier statement after seeing this now. 05:11 Jesse turns in time to catch Vacant who attempts a cross body block. Williams swings him around, attempting a swinging side slide but Vacant lands on his feet and kicks out the knee of Jesse. Williams falls to one knee and Vacant bounces off the opposite set of rope. He runs back and brings a knee to the head of Jesse. Williams is stunned, so Vacant charges the ropes again and nails another knee to the side of Jesse's face. Williams is only dazed, so once again Vacant runs off the set of ropes and back at Jesse, attempting a third knee, but this time Jesse catches it. Falcoon - Uh oh. Jesse stands up and quickly sweeps out the left leg that Vacant was standing on. Jesse goes to grapevine the right leg of Vacant that he still holds, but Vacant uses his left left to push Jesse off of him and tumbling throat first onto the top rope. The fans roar as Vacant quickly stands up and charges Jesse, looking for the Vacancy. Williams ducks and sends Vacant over the top rope with a back body drop. 03:28 Vacant barely grabs the top rope and catches himself on the apron. He brings a knee up through the ropes and grabs Williams in a suplex position. At this point there is no way he can lift Jesse. Williams is able to counter quickly and suplex Vacant up off the apron. Somehow, Vacant is able to float over and he grabs the waist of Jesse Williams. He rolls him backwards into a pinning combination as the referee drops into place. Falcoon - OH MY GOD! The fans go nuts, shaking the arena to its core as they count with the referee...1...2...thr- KICKOUT! Dunn - That was a close call. Williams rolls himself up to one knee, as Vacant stands up and turns towards Jesse. The fans applaud both men as they both glare up at the clock. 01:51 Williams shakes his head and stands up as Vacant looks deep into his eyes. Falcoon - Well, looks like Jesse is going to wrap it up now. Kissens - He has to. Williams stalks Vacant who is able to avoid the grapple attempts by Jesse. Time keeps ticking away as Vacant keeps using his quickness to avoid Jesse. Finally, Jesse catches him and looks like he is going to clothesline Vacant but he looks up at the clock, drops his arm and instead pushes Vacant into the corner. Dunn - Uhhh, what is he doing? Falcoon - I have no clue. Kissens - There's only a minute left! 01:00 Vacant comes running out of the corner and attempts a leg lariat, but Williams side steps it and Vacant crashes down to the mat. 00:52 He quickly scuffles back up to his feet, attempting a kick to Jesse's legs but he avoids it and circles around Vacant. Falcoon - The fans are all on their feet. 00:45 Vacant attempts to rush at Jesse, but he pushes Vacant off of him and off the ropes. Vacant bounces off and catches Jesse with a boot to the stomach which surprises him. 00:31 Vacant bounces off the ropes and charges at Jesse, but Williams stands and Vacant crashes right into him and falls flat to the mat. Jesse glances up at the clock and sighs, before reaching down towards Vacant. 00:23 Kissens - Well, Jesse's ending it now. Dunn - About time! He grabs Vacant by the mask and picks him up to his feet. He turns facing the clock and watches it as he hooks Vacant up for a suplex and cradles his left leg. Williams picks him up in a fishermans suplex position, holding him straight up while looking at the clock. Falcoon - He's gonna end it with Beyond the Citadel of coup de grace! 00:15 Vacant kicks his one leg violently, trying to fight the move. 00:09 Williams swings him down, but Vacant cradles Jesse's head and rolls him over with a small package as the referee slides into place. 00:05 Kissens - OH GOD Y'ALL! Falcoon - THE COUNT! 1...2... 00:01 ...3 00:00 Missy Janson - The winner of this match...receiving both the right to book a Monday Addiction, and facing Angel later on....He is the Quest For The Best Tournament Winner...VAAAAAAAAAACANT! The fans are going absolutely nuts in the arena as both men lay motionless in the ring. Falcoon - What a match! I can't believe it! Dunn - I didn't see that coming. Kissens - What a night. Falcoon - And one more match to-- The fans are suddenly silenced as Angel charges down to the ring with a steel chair. Falcoon - Oh crap. Vacant stumbles up to his feet and receives a thunderous chairshot to the head that sends him right down to the mat. Blood begins to seep through the orange mask as Jesse looks on in horror. Kissens - WHY! Angel rears the chair back and continues to beat the hell out of Vacant as he lays on the mat. Strike after strike connects with such force that the entire crowd looks on in shock. Falcoon - That's enough! Dunn - He was beaten up more than enough already! Williams begins to get up to his feet and Angel heads out of the ring and begins to walk to the back as Vacant lays unconscious in the ring. EMT's rush down to the ring as Jesse cradles him in his arms to see if he is okay. Kissens - That poor kid. Falcoon - Looks like Angel is gonna get off scott-free tonight! We cut backstage as the EMT's begin to cart Vacant off and the construction of the hell in a cell begins. We see President Chase Johnson storming around backstage before running into the locker room of Angel. Prez CJ - What the hell was that? Angel just stares at him Prez CJ - Okay, fine. You're gonna get the kid who can't even move in a Hell in a Cell to get back at Jesse. You happy? Angel smirks. Angel - I will be. CJ blankly stares at him and leaves his locker room, slamming the door. As he turns, he sees Vacant being wheeled down the hallway with multiple EMT's and Jesse at his side. They have a oxygen mask hooked up to his face, so his face is still concealed though the mask has been cut off. CJ slowly approaches and Williams sees him. In a rage, Jesse grabs him by the back of his hair and drags CJ to the side of Vacant as the gurney stops at the back of an ambulance. Williams - Look what you did you son of a bitch! You mother fucker, I should kill you right now! He's barely alive because of you! CJ winces as Williams' face turns red. Vacant - C...CJ. Both of their heads turn and look at Vacant, who is bloodied, brusied and left broken on the gurney. Williams releases CJ who walks over next to Vacant who pulls down his oxygen mask and quietly whispers something in his ear. Chase stands up and looks down at Vacant who falls unconscious again and is loaded up into the ambulance. Jesse looks at CJ and begins to walk past him into the ambulance. Prez CJ - Where do you think you're going? Williams stares at him. Williams - What the fuck you just say to me? Prez CJ - I said...Where do you think you're going? Williams smirks. Williams - You got some balls. I'm going to make sure my godson is alright. Chase laughs. Prez CJ - Oh, okay...Well, I guess you plan on no-showing the Monday Addiction Pre-show that Vacant just scheduled to happen in... CJ looks down at his watch. Prez CJ - Five minutes or so. Williams stares blankly at him. Prez CJ - You better get back to that ring, you no-showing son of a bitch. You gonna let Vacant down on the first match he books? Get out of my fucking sight! CJ turns as the ambulance closes it's doors and drives away. The chants of "Vacant, Vacant" can be heard backstage and Jesse begins to slowly walk back towards the entrance ramp. Falcoon - What the hell is going on? Dunn - It's obvious. We're almost at Midnight here...and Vacant has booked us a Monday Addiction Pre-Show!
