- - LIVE! OWF AWARD SHOW! - -

The cameras open on the Oasis Banquet Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada -- just one night after Clash of Champions. The room is packed full of tables, with a majority of the OWF Roster in attendance. A few names from the past are in attendance, but mostly the crowd is made up of OWF Fans. All of the superstars are seated at tables near the stage, while the fans are all near the back of the hall. On the stage stands a wooden podium between two wooden tables, where the Staff of the OWF all sit. Directly behind each table are two white canvas video screens -- with a banner of the OWF logo placed between. At the back of the stage, all of the Plaques to be awarded are laid out.

President Chase Johnson stands from his seat directly next to the podium, and pulls himself around behind it. A nice ovation is given to the President, who waits for the cheers to die down before starting off the night.

Prez CJ - Hello all, and welcome to the 2008 Award Show!

The fans respond with an onset of cheers and applause, quickly quieting themselves so CJ can continue.

Prez CJ - Tonight, we have many Awards that are going to be handed out to the best of the OWF. We had an incredibly successful card yesterday, and I think this is going to be a very nice tribute to that. So sit back, relax -- and enjoy the proceedings!

CJ steps away from the microphone and sits back down at his seat. As soon as he is seated, the two white screens behind the stage light up -- with a video being projected onto each of them with the lights dimming down.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

Vernon Somoza is showcased first, pummeling the bloody Trent Steel and doing as much damage as he can to him at Shit Happens in November.

... Not all superstars come to the OWF and are able to climb the ladder without much plight ...

Porta Prince is shown throwing a few opponents around the ring, and picking up a few huge victories near the end of the year.

... And many who do burn themselves out and eventually fade away ...

JC knocking out Surph, Wave, Greg Jackson and Jesse Williams are all rolled together in a quick clip, showing the dominance of the big man.

... While those who yearn to learn and get better stand tall ...

A short rundown of all of Valtiels feats in the OWF are shown, including Capture The Flag Match from Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country and the Three Man Tag Team Tournament from Determined.

... And remain cornerstones of the Outsider Wrestling Federation...

The final competitor showcased is Drake Munday, first showing all of his defeats -- and soon fading into his most recent triumphs, including a successful SCS Championship reign after defeating Specter.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

From one of the tables nearest to the stage, a hyped-up CokeKid jumps out of his seat and begins speed-walking towards the left side of the stage. He runs up the steps at full force, and crosses the stage as he heads towards the podium. The OWF mostly stares at him as he seems to be a complete mess.

CokeKid - Yo dudes.

The crowded Banquet Hall remains completely silent.

CokeKid - I got the first Award of the night, and it's all about who has improved the most bro's.

CokeKid pauses and unleashes one hell of a cough.

CokeKid - I'ma get to the nominees before I forget to do it.

He glances down at the top of the podium.

CokeKid - The first nominee is... Drake Munday!

The crowd gives Munday a nice applause, with CokeKid continuing right on.

CokeKid - JC!

A large amount of boos fill the Banquet Hall, causing CokeKid to pause.

CokeKid - Porta Prince!

The displeasure of the crowd continues, again forcing CokeKid to hesitated before listing the next nominee.

CokeKid - Valtiel!

Even though he seems absent, the crowd still lays right into him -- since his most recent actions of 2008 left a bad taste in their mouthes.

CokeKid - And the last nominee... Vernon Somoza!

For the fourth nominee in a row, the entire Banquet Hall gets up in arms and boos away.

CokeKid - And the winner is...

CokeKid fumbles with the white envelope laid upon the top of the podium -- ripping it open and pulling out a white card. His eyes scan over the writing of it and lifts his head back up to announce the winner into the microphone.

CokeKid - Valtiel duuuudes!

CokeKid - Yo duuudes. So, Valtiel isn't here and stuff. His Award was sent to his residence without response.

The crowd remains silent.

CokeKid - Yeah, I'm out!

CokeKid steps away from the podium and walks to his left, heading back from the staircase from which he came. He staggers down the stairs with his hand loosely wrapped around the bannister.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

On the two white canvas screens, a video is projected upon both of them. Drake Munday is the first person seen, as him being fired by President Chase Johnson is shown.

... In the OWF, there are those who are respected as top talents ...

Vernon Somoza and Porta Prince are shown fighting off a ton of OWF talent, and being on the losing end early in their careers. Then sprinkled in are their most recent streaks of success.

... And those, who despite their best efforts ...

A video from Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country is shown -- with JC slamming Jesse's head into a car window and bloodying him during the Gang Wars Match.

... Still just can't seem to command the respect they deserve ...

The events leading to Valtiel turning on Team Moxie show up, with both Vacant and Moxie Roxie shown looking disappointed in him.

... Yet, amongst their peers and even throughout the millions of OWF fans ...

Finally, the last image before we fade back to the banquet hall, is each nominee being showing having their arm raised in victory at different events throughout the OWF's calendar year.

... They are recognized for their talents, and are respected for overcoming all doubts ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The videos fade out and the feed is now focused on the Stage. From the long wooden table placed to the right of the podium, where of the OWF Staff is seated, Missy Janson stands up and heads to the podium -- where the Plaque for the next Award has been already placed. She steps in front of the microphone, and receives a nice applause from the Banquet Hall.

Missy Janson - Thank you.

Missy clears her throat out of earshot from the microphone.

Missy Janson - I am here to present the Award for the Superstar who was most overlooked in the OWF during the year 2008.

The crowd remains silent.

Missy Janson - The nominees for the Most Underrated Superstar of the Year are... Drake Munday!

The Banquet Hall applauds at the mention of his name.

Missy Janson - Vernon Somoza...

Following the mention of his name, the crowd turns to boo's.

Missy Janson - Porta Prince...

They continue booing at a high volume.

Missy Janson - JC...

They raise their voices, booing even louder now.

Missy Janson - And finally, Valtiel...

Missy pauses, looking out over the hall as she peels open the envelope.

Missy Janson - And the winner of this Award is...

She glances down to the card inside of the envelope, then lifts her eyes up to look at the crowded hall.

Missy Janson - Porta Prince!

All the cameras in the banquet hall turn to get various zoomed in angles of the award-winning Porta Prince. As the spotlight finds Porta in the crowd sitting with his girlfriend, with Gucci shades and a $800 Armani suit on, he kisses his girl and pushes himself out of his seat and proceeds to walk down the aisle. The main crowd visible on camera applaud the big man as he walks down the aisle, while various boos from the non-visible crowd are heard audible through the direct feed. Porta pays no mind as he sees Somoza sitting with his woman, slaps him a quick five as he makes his way to the stage steps. He kisses Missy on the cheek, and she hands him the award. He raises it in the air in which only his girlfiriend and Somoza, who's heard screaming, "That's MY Boy!!", stand up in the crowd, while the rest of the crowd dies down in their applauding. Porta approaches the podium and adjusts the microphone before speaking into it.

Porta Prince - Wow!! Thanks, thanks. I just wanted to point out how appropriate this award is. You see, all you fans that boo me all the way back there in the balcony, you voted me LAST in the Top 15.....I was number 20, I didn't even qualify!!!!

The fans in the back begin to cheer as the people in the front row converse with one another.

Porta Prince - You see, this.....

Porta hoists the award in the air while tipping his head towards the mic.

Porta Prince - ...This award.....Most Underrated of The Year shows that you fans slept on me!!! You guys thought I had no chance in this business!! Well, look at me now assholes!!!

The fans begin to boo as the camera shots at balcony show fans flipping the bird and shouting obscenities.

Porta Prince - See all you Las Vegas sweathogs do nothing but sit on your sorry asses gamble at your crappy casinos, wasting away your good for nothing filthy lives!! Where I'm from, we look down to scum like you!! You all make me sick. You pieces of sh--

Porta stops his sentence when a concession drink comes flying towards Porta Prince.

Porta Prince - You motherfu--

Porta jumps down from the stage as he dodges another flying object coming directly at him. Various food fly towards Porta as he runs towards the balcony. Somoza tries to stop him from going there, but Porta brushes his arm off of him and tries to make a bolt to the steps when security stops him. A camera man follows the chaos as Porta Prince is thrown out of the building and his embarrassed girlfiriend has to fend for herself to leave the banquet hall. She receives a chorus of boos as the "balcony fans" chant, "Porta sucks! Porta sucks!" as she leaves the banquet hall.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

... Ten years has seen hundreds of Teams come together ...

The first muted clip shown is of Jared Wave and Skotty Surph cooperating as a Team against Harker and Filthy Rich from the PDA Contendership Series.

... All for one common goal ...

A shot of Moxie Roxie, first shown with Eclipse and then JC, fades in with her holding the Blood Tag Team Title.

... Some by choice ...

Styxx and Stonze standing victorious in the ring, holding the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Championships above their heads at Quest for The Best.

... Some by force ...

Angel and Jesse Williams are now shown standing in the same corner, across from Plague and Godsmack.

... Yet the Tag Team Division has been built on a strong foundation of Legendary History ...

The images burnt into our skulls of Vernon Somoza and Porta Prince winning the Tag Team Titles from The Cult of Steel is shown -- as Trent Steel is crucifix Powerbombed through a pane of glass.

... And remains standing, only improving with time...

The last team shown The Gangsters Disciples, Thug 1 and Thug 2, beating up on Mike Van Pelt and T.J. Hansen during a Dark Match on Addiction. The video then cuts out to black.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

Back in the banquet hall, wee see former OWF Superstar and current Announcer James Dunn pick himself out of his chair -- standing from the table placed on the right side of the stage. He chuckles and staggers towards the podium, seeming a little incoherant. He grips both of his hands around the edges of the wooden podium, using it for balance as another laugh escapes his lips. The crowd goes from cheering James, to laughing -- and not with him, but at his posture. He leans his head forward and begins slurring into the microphone.

James Dunn - AAAAHHHOOOOO!

The crowd holds their ears with James yelling Falcoon's line as loud as he can into the microphone positioned atop the podium.

James Dunn - Jussst kidding, hahaha. But ssseriousssly, I'm here for one reassson and one reassson only...

He reaches down and grabs a hold of the plaque, holding up the Tag Team of the Year Award.

James Dunn - And that'sss to hand thisss baby out.

James falls silent as President Chase Johnson, sitting right next to the podium, pokes James.

James Dunn - Oh right, the nomineesss...

He looks down at the podium and starts mumbling while reading off a piece of paper.

James Dunn - Angel and Jessssse Williamsss...

Boo's come at first, followed by a chant of "We miss Angel!"

James Dunn - Hang Ten -- made up of Jared Wave and Ssskotty Sssurph!

The crowd gives a nice ovation for the team as their names are mentioned.

James Dunn - El Plaga -- made up of Vernon Sssomoza and Porta Prince!

The banquet hall fills with a mixture of boo's and a loud chant of "You sold out!" directed at El Plaga's table.

James Dunn - Ssstyx and Ssstonze!

A mixed reaction comes from the crowd, with the nominees not even in attendance.

James Dunn - And finally, The Gangstersss Disssciplesss -- made up of Thug 1 and Thug 2!

The fans boo mildly as James keeps the plaque in his right hand, and reaches for the envelope with his left.

James Dunn - And the winnersss are...

The envelope falls to the ground and Dunn bends over to pick it up. He flops over onto his face, knocking himself unconscious. The crowd laughs at the top of their lungs as the Staff Members all stare at each other. Suddenly from his oversized seat the OWF's resident Time Keeper, Uncle Bo, grabs both the plaque and the envelope off of the ground. He steps in front of the podium and rips open the envelope.

Uncle Bo - YOOOOO da weiner iz...

He glances down at the card inside of the envelope with his one good eye.

Uncle Bo - JESSEY WILLUMPS AND ANGRELLLLL!

Boo's again fill the entire banquet hall as Jesse Williams leaves his table, with Apollo jumping up to his feet in applause. Jesse weaves his way through the tables and heads to the staircase on the left side of the stage. He jogs up the steps and approaches the podium, grabbing the plaque from Uncle Bo and stepping directly in front of the microphon. The crowd boos Jesse loudly, as he stands before the podium holding the plaque in his right hand.

Jesse Williams - Thank you, you're too kind. I'd like to just say that I have never really been known for my Tag Team work throughout my career, so this Award is very special to me. I've been a part of some great Teams- such as The PlaYa Haters, The Domi-Hatorz, Cold Grass and many, many more. I acheived very little success when it came to working with someone towards a common goal. I attribute that to the obvious fact that I have no one who is even close to being on my level- so they only come off as a let down.

The entire banquet hall is firmly intent on booing Jesse, trying to drown out his words- but he only speaks louder.

Jesse Williams - Teaming with Angel was no different. He has been built up to be some sort of Legend, that all of you remember so fondly. You all forget that I am the one man who has been his kryptonite, and without me- Angel would be nothing more than dust in the wind.

Many people aren't too pleased with his words, and start shouting insults.

Jesse Williams - But, we won the Tag Titles and I guess had enough of an impact to win this Award. So for Angel and Myself, well actually just myself, I'm happy that you all finally learned how to recognize talent.

Jesse holds up the plaque high above his head and then turns to his right, heading back towards the staircase to a chorus of boos.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

... Once a fixture of the Outsider Wrestling Federation ...

A video, with muted volume yet again, is shown with a voice over. First shown is Seraph, Ray Lopes, Godsmack and Jesse Williams -- all members of the New Four Horsemen. They are standing over the unconscious body of Aphrodisia Jordan.

... Stables and factions have faded away, leaving only the strongest groups to survive ...

Vacant, Moxie Roxie and Valtiel are now shown participating in the Three Man Tag Team Tournament at Determined in May.

... The present landscape seems barren of dominant groupings of Superstars ...

The images shown are now of Chris Green commanding Styxx and Stonze, with Seraph and Godsmack in tow -- all five men of Corrupted in their designated locker room.

... But the lasting memories of the best are never gone ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

From the left side of the podium, OWF Announcer Gordie Falcoon stands up from the table and heads towards the center of the stage. He stands before the podium, looking down at the Plaque laid flat on the top of it, and leans in to begin his speech.

Gordie Falcoon - Thank you. The next Award to be presented is for the best Stable in the OWF throughout the year 2008.

Gordie pauses, with the crowd remaining silent so he can get to the nominees.

Gordie Falcoon - And the nominees are -- Corrupted; made up of Prez CJ, Chris Green, Godsmack, Seraph, Styxx and Stonze!

The crowd gives a mild reaction.

Gordie Falcoon - Team Moxie; made up of Moxie Roxie, Vacant and Valtiel!

The entire banquet hall erupts, sending cheers echoing off the walls of the room.

Gordie Falcoon - And lastly, The New Four Horsemen; made up of Jesse Williams, Godsmack, Ray Lopes and Seraph!

The crowd is now sent into a chorus of boo's -- mostly at the mention of Jesse's name.

Gordie Falcoon - And the winners of the Stable of the Year Award are...

Gordie picks the white envelope off of the podium and rips it open. He slides his fingers inside and pulls out the small card inside. He glances down at the face of it and then looks back up to the crowd -- positioning his mouth right in front of the microphone.

Gordie Falcoon - ... Moxie Roxie, Vacant and Valtiel -- Team Moxie!

Only one member of Team Moxie stands from their seat to retreive the Award -- being Moxie Roxie. With a big smile upon her face she darts towards the left side of the stage and quickly scales the staircase up onto the platform. She receives a nice ovation once in full sight of the crowd, continuing onward towards the podium in the center of the stage. As she reaches it, Gordie Falcoon hands her the Plaque and steps away -- allowing Moxie to position herself facing the crowd.

Moxie Roxie - 2008 didn't see much unity in the OWF. Jesse Williams had the belt. Trent Steel had a cult. The NLW was tearing into the company I love so dear like X-Terminator into a bottle of five dollar booze. Everyone was out for themselves, and even though the chips were down and the time for team spirit was at hand, nobody made the necessary call for cohesion. It was a time when selfishness reigned and I'm not talking about the individuality side of selfishness, which I totally represent and promote. I'm talking about the bad side. But there was one bright, shining light amidst all this egocentricity. One force stood tall and did their darnedest to bring a little positivity and goodwill back to the OWF. Way back in May, at Determined, three strangers were united by fate to bring the light of truth and justice back to wrestling. Was it destiny that bound this triad of competitors? Or the demands of a high power? Did the pure desire of the wonderful OWF fans itself weave together the threads of their respective fates? I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. What I do know is that myself, Vacant, and Valtiel joined forces to become the stable of choice for 2008. I'd even go so far as to say we transcend stables, and were comparable to a political movement. Too bad we missed the White House this year, but I have total faith in president Obama.

Moxie pauses for applause from the Democrats in the audience.

Moxie Roxie - Team Moxie was more than just a team. We were a phenomenon, both in the ring and in the arena of merchandising, where Team Moxie shirts were frequently in the top five best sellers at OWF events and through the web. We battled the villains of wrestling and always did our best to represent lofty ideals and high standards that the rest of the roster often forget about. I know if Valtiel and Vacant were up here-

Pulling back from the microphone, Moxie pauses to observe Vacant jumping up from his seat and sprinting to the stage. After a dramatic slide on and a jump to his feet, he joins her at the podium. While Vacant places an arm around Moxie, she slaps one hand over her face.

Vacant - Hey guys. I just wanted to say I'm proud to represent Team Moxie.

Moxie Roxie - You didn't have to come up here. Isn't your date going to be mad?

Vacant - Nah, she's cool with it. Besides, might as well get another member up here.

Moxie Roxie - Well, technically, Akira Kanemura and Robin Sparks were in Team Moxie, but they weren't included in the voting. Maybe we should get them up here, too.

Vacant - That's okay! No need to get up, guys. It's a long way to the stage and by the time you got up here the speech would be over and you'd just be stuck standing here, feeling awkward.

Moxie Roxie - Feeling awkward. I can relate.

Vacant - So, thanks for the award, everybody. Being part of Team Moxie was both an honor and a privilege. It changed my life.

Moxie Roxie - Team Moxie changed a lot of lives. And I hope to continue changing lives and being a positive influence through my music and maybe one day, my wrestling career.

Vacant - You should come back.

Moxie Roxie - Aren't you in NLW now?

Vacant - We can both come back.

Hanging on that last syllable a little too long, Vacant gazes straight into Moxie's eyes. As Moxie turns to continue her acceptance speech, he resumes gazing into her cheek.

Moxie Roxie - Thanks for this award, guys. We love you all. Even if Team Moxie is never officially together again, we'll always be together in your hearts. As far as I'm concerned, you're all honorary members of Team Moxie. You guys are the best. Thanks.

Vacant - And remember, there's no I in Team Moxie.

As Moxie hoists the award into the air, Vacant follows suit, wrapping his own hand around Moxie's and opting for a display of unity on behalf of the winners. A startled Moxie releases the award as soon as Vacant grabs hold, leaving him to give it half a pump upward before looking to Moxie with confusion. Motioning for Vacant, she begins to make her way off stage. As Vacant begins to follow, a hooded figure comes out and clubs him over the head with a pipe, sending the OWF's Rookie of the Year to the ground. The figure looks down at Vacant's hand, still clutching the trophy and quickly snatches it away. As Moxie drops to Vacant's side, the figure gestures towards her with the trophy, as a wave of panic sweeps the audience.

Hooded Man - Mind if I keep this?

Still clutching Vacant's head, Moxie stares as he sprints off, pipe and trophy in hand. Vacant slowly starts to pull himself up, with Cassie Steele rushing towards the stage in near hysterics. He brushes off both Moxie and Cassie as he gets back up to his feet, a little dazed while clutching his head.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

Clips of the past year, featuring Moxie Roxie facing off against Angel, Jesse Williams and Greg Jackson, are shown. The images flash on the screen before fading to the video of Moxie securing the Tag Titles for herself on two occasions.

... The OWF has always thrived on it's esablished talent to lead the way ...

Jared Wave and Skotty Surph, the team of Hang Ten, are shown in competition with JC, Vernon Somoza and Porta Prince -- all at different times in 2008.

... But with every passing year, a new breed of superstar steps to the forefront ...

A shot of JC booting Jared Wave in the face is shown, followed immediately by his brief victory of the PDA Championship -- and also his two Tag Team Title reigns.

... Rookies only by circumstance, some excel beyond their peers ...

The ending sequence of the Capture The Flag Match from Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country is up next -- with Valtiel standing victorious over X-Terminator, Harker, Porta Prince, Vernon Somoza and Trent Steel.

... And are welcomed by fans and superstars alike, with open arms ...

The finals of the Quest For The Best Tournament is clipped down into about thirty seconds of Vacant and Jesse Williams going back and forth -- before Vacant is able to pick up the victory, and win the tournament.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

From the floor we see resident Jobber Mike Van Pelt stand up to his feet and start to head to his right. He rounds around the edge of the stage and slowly hikes up the staircase to the right. He walks along the stage with his eyes set out to the crowd, who has remained almost completly silent the whole time MVP has been moving. He positions himself infront of the podium and leans in to speak into the microphone.

Mike Van Pelt - Yo dudes. It's MVP, and I am more than happy to be here to present the next Award.

MVP pauses for a reaction, but only receives silence.

Mike Van Pelt - I remember the days when I was a rookie, and it was pretty tough to get established. Now, two-hundred and seventy-six losses later -- I'm still not famous, but I'm getting paid.

The fans start to boo Mike Van Pelt pretty harshly.

Mike Van Pelt - So yo, if the winner of this Award doesn't have an impactful career, it's not their fault. Plus on the brightside, they'll be able to take the OWF to the bank if they don't have any standards -- like me.

MVP is taken back by the amount of hatred now held for him in this room..

Mike Van Pelt - But, I'm rambling. So check it out, here are the Nominees for Rookie of the Year...

The fans applaud, appreciating the fact that MVP has ended his rant and we can move on with the Award Ceremony.

Mike Van Pelt - Jared Wave!

A few members of the crowd applaud Jared, who is not in attendance and hasn't been active since November.

Mike Van Pelt - JC!

A furious set of boos fill the Banquet Hall at the mentioning of JC's name. MVP is forced to pause as he waits for the anger to subside.

Mike Van Pelt - Moxie Roxie!

A nice reception is given for Moxie Roxie, at least for being a change of pace from JC.

Mike Van Pelt - Skotty Surph!

As with Wave, Skotty Surph receives a mild applause with the crowd losing interest rather quickly -- he too hasn't been active since November and is not in attendance tonight.

Mike Van Pelt - Vacant!

The intensity in their cheers comes through, with a few sections being sour over his depature to NLW.

Mike Van Pelt - And lastly, Valtiel!

The last name mentioned brings about a thick layer of boos, with all of his actions fresh in the minds of the crowd.

Mike Van Pelt - And the winner is...

MVP lifts the white envelope off of the podium and rips it open -- pulling from it a white card. He glances down and reads the printout upon the paper.

Mike Van Pelt - Vacant!

A man sitting at a table near the stage stands up, with an orange skimask over his head. His body type does not fit that of Vacant, but the crowded hall still gives him a loud ovation -- very excited to see Vacant back at an OWF event. He walks around to the steps on the right side of the stage, and jogs up onto the platform -- walking towards Mike Van Pelt who hands him his plaque. Vacant positions himself in front of the podium and the cheers slowly dissapate.

Vacant - Thank you, thank you...

An aura of doubt is cast over the hall once he speaks, with the voice not matching the person.

Vacant - As your hero, your rookie sensation, your rookie of the year. I proudly accept this award. I Dr-sorry, Vacant, believe I am fully deserving of this title, I can only think of one person who could deserve it more. So, I dedicate this to my beautiful beautiful Moxie Roxie. I hope your well soon and JC didn't beat the shit out of you too much. So, what is in store for 2009? A whole lot of ass-kicking, because I'm...Vacant and I heart Moxie. Getting this award has been such a hard thing for me to do, getting inside this stinky suit and wrestling matches all over America. But I coped. As a proud member of Team Moxie, again, I thank Moxie for helping me. There are others who helped me along the way, namely Drake Munday, for his constant backstage support and positive support. So, when you next see him. Give him a round of applause! So thank you, President He's...I mean, President CJ. You have been a...a good president this year. And I hope that you do not suffer a horrible ass-kicking in the near future. And to you, my adoring fans, thank you for supporting an ugly over-dramatic bastard wearing a fucktard costume and loving a lesbian pop idol...

Nick James - Munday...

Vacant turns from the podium to see NLW's "Untamed" Nick James, sporting a lovely sized bandage across his forehead, striding onto the stage, staring him down. Vacant clutches the statuette close to his body as James stares daggers at him.

"Vacant" - Traitor! Somebody get this NLW scum out of here. He's interupting my big moment that I, Vacant, have worked for all year.

Nick James shrugs off his suit jacket, folding it neatly and placing it over CJ's shoulder like a coat rack. CJ remains seated and just turns his head away in disgust. Turning back toward Vacant, James begins to loosen his tie.

Nick James - Munday, the only way you're leaving with that thing is after I shove it up your ass.

"Vacant" - I'm not afraid of you.

Nick James - Then you can wash it off after Rockstar takes it back out for you.

"Vacant" glances down at the plaque, then back up at James who pulls his tie loose and drapes it carefully over CJ's other shoulder. Vacant sets the statue back on the podium, taking a step back.

"Vacant" - Aw, screw this. I don't even deserve this award to begin with. The real best rookie of the year is, of course, Drake Munday. I'm just a pimple-faced teenager who got lucky.

"Vacant" backs away, then turns and disappears behind the curtains at a sprint. James approaches the podium, looking down at the award and visibly rolling his eyes. The hall is deafening now, with just about all of the people cheering Nick James -- the real Vacant -- with everything in their lungs.

Nick James - OWF, the Overused Williams Federation, and tonight just like every week on Addiction we have to sit here and watch Chase Johnson blow sunshine up Jesse Williams ass and build him up to be some kind of demi-God or superhero. I got news for you all, Jesse Williams is nothing special. Just another egotistical jerk who gets spoonfed everything on a silver platter.

The hall fills with a tense silence as James speaks his peace.

Nick James - Rookie of the Year? It wasn't exactly difficult. New talent doesn't come to the OWF, because Chase Johnson's just like Diamond Kid, looking to stifle anyone who hasn't already been in the business ten years. This year saw maybe a half-dozen actual rookies and then about thirty returning so-called superstars who were awarded title shots and million dollar contracts just to reward their two month retirements. Here's a thought, Johnson, start providing these guys with a 401K because the rest of us are tired of "retirements" that end in six weeks or less.

Johnson brushes James' jacket and tie to the floor, jutting out his jaw as he glares at the arrogant boy.

Nick James - Anyways, I was the best new thing to come to the OWF and Jesse Williams went and ruined that for everybody, so if any of you ever want to see what the OWF could have been like, feel free to tune in for Uprising. I want to thank Moxie, Apollo, Greg Jackson, and Jesus for all backing me when most of these guys were douchebags, and I'll give a nod to Specter to say I don't entirely hate him. Peace.

James snatches up the statuette and hops down off the front of the stage, leaving behind his stuff with Johnson as he makes his way across the hall back to his table. James sets the award down in front of Moxie Roxie, turning then to help Cassie up from her seat and linking arms with her as he leads her to the door.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

A video begins playing over the two large screens placed on either side of the podium behind the stage. A voice over is heard as a clip is shown of Trent Steel walking around in the middle of an OWF Ring -- speaking into a microphone, with his words muted.

... Throughout the years, the one thing that set the OWF Superstars apart from the rest of the wrestlers in this business ...

The image now shows Moxie Roxie and Vacant backstage in Moxie's locker room, again with their words muted, when Valtiel enters and their demeanors change as they shift their full attention to him.

... Has been their distinct personalities ...

We now see Jesse Williams, shown backstage at an OWF show, conversing with President Chase Johnson in his office.

... Along with the permission from the Staff to use their creativity when they picked up a live microphone ...

The video cuts to show Greg Jackson in the middle of the ring, speaking into a microphone when we cut to the reaction of the fans who were in attendance -- who all have a smile upon their faces.

... Few set themselves apart, while a few remain silent ...

Specter and his former Manager Apollo are shown in his locker room with JC entering the scene soon thereafter.

... But the one thing that is for certain is that those who have made themselves seen and heard ...

We cut to the images of Porta Prince and Vernon Somoza offering the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Titles to NLW President Jack Sullivan. Them burning the flag of the OWF is then shown seconds after.

... Have secured a special spot not only in the History of the Outsider Wrestling Federation ...

The last video shown is of Chris Green's retirement speech from August. Tears are shown rolling down his face, with the audio still remaining muted for all images shown.

... But in the Hearts and Minds of the OWF Faithful for the rest of time ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The video screen shows Greg Jackson, prompting a loud ovation from the in house crowd. Greg isn’t as aware of the people watching him, however, as he’s seen holding his baby, Jesus Jackson, way out in front of himself.

Greg Jackson - OH! You stinky little BASTARD!

Greg sets the baby down on something that’s just below camera view. Making an educated guess from looking at Greg’s arm movement, it’s safe to guess that Greg is in the process of changing a diaper.

Greg Jackson - Stop looking so damn amused with yourself! I just- NO! Oh God… it’s everywhere… you DISGUSTING CHILD!

Voice - Greg?

Greg seems oblivious to the voice calling for him, as he takes some wet wipes and goes to work.

Voice - GREG!

Greg Jackson - I’m busy!

Greg is moving fast as he cleans his child up and appears to put a fresh diaper on. Just then, we see Greg pick up the dirty diaper, obviously looking to dispose of it.

Voice - GREG! WE’RE ON!

Greg Jackson - Now?

Voice - LIVE!

Greg Jackson - Oh shit… which one is this?

Voice - The award for Best On Air Segments!

Greg Jackson - Okay… HI OWF! Sorry I couldn’t be there with you today. As you can see, I’m currently a stay at home dad. I assure you, though, I’ll be back soon from my concussion. I have a lot of unfinished business with number of people. What this award means… it means I’m entertaining as shit! It means between the matches, you’re hopin’ for a little more Greg Jackson! It means you PROBABLY can’t wait to see my upcoming movie and listen to my album, as well as my sophomore effort coming soon. I can’t say I blame you. First the OWF Awards, after that, Grammy and Oscar awards. I suppose I should thank some people…

Greg Jackson - I’d like to thank the dedicated OWF camera men who make it their business to follow my every move. I’d like to thank anyone who has ever appeared in a segment with me for not showing me up. I’d like to also thank CJ, who’s paying me a lot of money to sit on my ass right now. As well, he’s never fired me in one of my segments… yet. In conclusion, I will continue to win this award as long as I’m here for a significant amount of time in a year. I feel like I’m Micheal Jordan playing basketball against fifth graders. Except, instead of basketball, we’re playing a game where you can’t be boring… and I’m killing you all. Thank you.

The video cuts out to black, with the crowd applauding Greg.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

A shot of Jesse Williams and Chris Green embracing at Bloodbath is shown -- soon fading to a video of Green's heartfelt speech on the next Addiction.

... Some moments bring about feelings of despair ...

President Chase Johnson is shown escorting Drake Munday out of the Building, also at Bloodbath in August.

... Others can bring about feelings of sure hatred and revenge ...

A shot from Quest for the Best's Overtime, into a Monday Addiction match booked per request from Vacant, is shown -- with Jesse Williams tossing Angel off the Hell in a Cell for revenge from an attack just eight months earlier of similar fashion.

... Then there are the few that are too shocking for words ...

Next up is a few clips of Drake Munday defeating four competitors on his way to being rehired at Drift and Die.

... Where your jaw drops and your vocal chords become paralyzed ...

The next set of images are from the NLW/OWF Collision Course Card, where we see Vernon Somoza and Porta Prince giving Jack Sullivan the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Championships.

... Yet you keep watching, feeling that nothing is safe anymore ...

Piter Svoboda, holding the OWF World, Network and Universal Championships, is now shown standing triumphant over Jesse Williams back in March.

... And you see incredible feats, acheived by incredible men and women ...

A shot of Moxie Roxie laid out in the parking lot is shown before the image of JC burns itself onto the screen -- revealing he is the one who put the Priestess of Punk out of the OWF.

... That leaves you on the edge of your seat ...

X-Terminator is shown shaking hands with Jack Sullivan, but later on in the night showing his full allegience by siding with the OWF at NLW/OWF Collision Course in December.

... Waiting to see what's next ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The video package fades out on both screens, and from the right side of the stage we see Head OWF Reporter Garrett Greene pick his napkin off of his lap and toss it onto the table in front of him. He slides his chair away from that table and picks himself up to his feet, heading towards his left to the center of the stage. Garrett receives a nice ovation that brings a smile to his face as he reaches the podium.

Garrett Greene - Thank you. I am here to bestow one of the most important Awards that we are to give out tonight.

The fans listen intently.

Garrett Greene - The nominees for the Most Shocking Moment of the Year are...

Garrett looks down at the podium.

Garrett Greene - The Retirement of Chris Green!

The crowd roars throughout the banquet hall.

Garrett Greene - Drake Munday gets fired!

The Banquet Hall is sent off into a chorus of boo's.

Garrett Greene - Drake Munday is re-hired!

They then break right back into a loud cheer for Drake.

Garrett Greene - Vernon Somoza and Porta Prince defect to NLW, and bring the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Titles with them.

A stern set of boo's come from the crowd and Garrett is forced to pause, waiting for the volume to lower before speaking again.

Garrett Greene - JC reveals himself as the person behind the attack of Moxe Roxie.

An even louder onslaught of boo's fill the Banquet Hall, again forcing Garrett Greene to pause.

Garrett Greene - Angel is thrown off the top of a Hell in a Cell by Jesse Williams.

He can barely get the words out before the crowd lets Jesse have it with all their pent up rage from past actions.

Garrett Greene - Piter Svoboda unifies the OWF World Heavyweight, Network, and Universal Championships into the OWF Triple Crown Championship!

A very mixed reaction divides the crowd into a hum of cheers and jeers.

Garrett Greene - And finally, X-Terminator double crosses NLW and returns to the OWF.

The fans cheer very loudly, with most of the room clapping while Garrett picks up the white envelope off of the podium.

Garrett Greene - And the Award goes to...

He pulls open the envelope and slides out the white card, looking down at the name.

Garrett Greene - Piter Svoboda for unifying the three top Championships into the OWF Triple Crown!

Amidst a tepid blend of applause and murmuring, a skinny man encased in the ample folds of a black leather jacket takes the stage, baggy cargo pants kept hoisted to his slender frame with a knotted bike chain. He accepts the plaque with a limp handshake and slinks behind the podium, resting his skeletal fingers and eyes upon it, then looks up. Piter's eyes are as dark as ever, the layer of glazing on the chocolate doughnuts of his irises providing a further layer of obscurity to just what's going on behind them.

Piter Svoboda - Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.

Svoboda's eyelids flutter lazily on the penumbral crescents cushioning them. He roots erratically through his plethora of pockets, finally producing a stack of yellowed index cards. The choked up high flier stares upward for a moment, the microphone barely picking up the phlegmy clearing of his throat, before he looks mistily at the top index card.

Piter Svoboda - I've prepared a speech.

The second cough goes on long enough to reveal itself to be a blatant stalling tactic as he struggles to bring the speech into focus, finally breaking into a faltering monotone.

Piter Svoboda - Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. The Outsider Wrestling Federation and I are awful.

Piter offers a dazed grin to the crowd, seemingly oblivious to the whispers that fill the hall, as well as the sudden and extra attention Chase Johnson is paying him. He simply pauses a moment before flipping to the next card.

Piter Svoboda - Ly glad to have you here for its 2008 Awards Ceremony, a ceremony that has no point.

This time he rereads the card, complete with head tracking and mouth movements, before continuing.

Piter Svoboda - In its proceedings that is not a celebration. These awards are not just.

Flip.

Piter Svoboda - An arbitrary decision by the management, but a choice by you, the ones who have made my dreams of making one OWF tit.

Svoboda momentarily fumbles a card, but keeps going like a true professional.

Piter Svoboda - Le.. er, one OWF TITLE a reality. For making this possible, I can't just thank.

This time he stares at his new cue card, bites his lip, and then presses on.

Piter Svoboda - An arbitrary decision by the management, but a choice by... Jesus.

A lonely flashbulb goes off, likely a desperate attempt by the grapplerazzi to capture Piter Svoboda's spiritual rebirth on film; at this point, it would make for a much bigger story than his death. Piter rubs his swollen eyes with the backs of his hands, then reads his plaque in a silence unbroken until an energetic Wagner piece hits the PA.

Piter Svoboda - Cut the fucking music!

The volume increases in response. Piter shouts into the microphone, his words punctuated by frequent bursts of feedback in the volume arms race between him and a sound technician who'd rather fight noise with noise than just cut his microphone feed.

Piter Svoboda - *ssSSSQUUEEEEeech* you, every fucking one of you, because without you, nobody'd *SKREE* money, or the wins. It's about throwing it all in *tTHhReE* times I really did give up. On myself, on the *srrVVREEEE* more than it needs me, more than any of y-

Finally, though Piter is shouting his larynx to shreds, the pounding music is supplemented with the disabling of his microphone. Plaque in hand, he retreats, defeated and disrespected once more to yet another mixed reaction.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

... Some matches defy description, and are just visually pleasing and satisfying ...

Video clips of Bloodbath in August are shown, with Jesse Williams and Chris Green pulling out all the stops in their TLC Match.

... Whether between two men who are friends and have the utmost respect for one another ...

The Unsanctioned Match, which was to decide the fate of Zack Perry, between Trent Steel and Vacant is shown next. The end of the match is shown, where Nicholas is able to secure the freedom of his father with Trent's respect.

... Or two enemies, who want nothing more than to leave their opponent as a bloody pulp when that three count hits ...

The three eliminations, of Kid Dynamo, Ray Lopes and Jesse Williams, is the next clip played. It is followed by Piter Svoboda holding all three major OWF Championships in the air -- creating the OWF Triple Crown Championship on Addiction in March.

... The rewards for victory can be great, and that pushes competitors past limits they never knew they could break ...

The tag match pitting the unlikely team of Specter and EJ Slayer against Jesse Williams and Vacant just six days before Drift and Die on Monday Addiction. The high paced action of the match is hard to condense, but the major feel of the match is shown through the thirty second clip -- which ends with EJ Slayer pinning Vacant, thus ending the respective winning streaks of both Vacant and Jesse Williams in one match.

... Or they can be non-existant, yet more meaningful when pride and honor are on the line ...

The major moments of the Gang Wars Match at Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country in October are next up, showcasing the actions of Greg Jackson, JC, Drake Munday, Jared Wave, Ray Lopes and the eventual winner, Silence.

... Whether a multi-competitor match, all with one common goal ...

The "hour long broadway" between EJ Slayer and Jesse Williams for the OWF World Title at Drift and Die in September is clipped down into about thirty seconds, showing the major turning points of the match. The finish of the match is shown with the fans giving both men, regardless of their feelings about them, a warm reception.

... Or two men fighting for something that goes way beyond the value of Championships ...

All sixteen entrants to the King of the Mountain Match at Funeral of Hearts in February are profiled, and a clip focusing on the positives of their actions are shown. Jesse Williams is shown protecting Vacant -- who is profiled mostly by his big leap from the top ring. Trent Steel and Greg Jackson are shown splitscreen, each fighting with Plague and Angel respectively. The ending of the match, with Chris Green, Kid Dynamo and Piter Svoboda in the top ring, is clipped together -- with Green taking out Dynamo, then racing up the ladder with Svoboda before eventually being sent to his back in the top ring. Piter Svoboda stands a top the ladder, with the Trophy Belt held high above his head.

... The makings of a great match lay in the talents and motivations of the OWF Superstars ...

The many phases of the Interference Match at MVW Addiction in May is shown, where the OWF Network Title was being defended by Vacant against Moxie Roxie. A few shots of the match taking precedent over the Kill Trent Steel Match and the OWF World Title Match round out the clips.

... Who have bestowed a new standard when it comes to in-ring work with their incredible feats and accomplishments in the year of 2008 ...

The last match shown in the package is from Shock and Terror in June, where Vacant defended his OWF Network Championship against Greg Jackson in an Electrified Cage Match. Although the cage wasn't a major factor in the match, the two men are shown to be very aware of it. Trent Steel coming to ringside and shocking Greg through the cage with 15,000 volts of electricity -- while Vacant lays on the mat unaware of Trent's interference.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

Once the video package fades on both screens, the crowd comes alive when the newest addition to the OWF Reporter Crew, Tyler Taylor, steps up to his feet as he pushes himself away from the table. From the far left side of the stage he begins walking towards the podium, sliding his chair in before stepping off. Tyler turns himself to face the crowd and stands in front of the podium, placing his face right infront of the microphone.

Tyler Taylor - In 2008, we had a ton of classic matches that will never be forgotten. There were a lot of nominees for Match of the Year, but not just the matches listed on this piece of paper in front of me were great. So, before I proceed, lets hear it for the OWF roster for putting on a great year of wrestling!

The crowd gives a nice ovation to the OWF Locker room, with Tyler pausing for the cheap pop.

Tyler Taylor - Without any further adue, the nominess for the Match of the Year are...

The Banquet Hall silences itself, listening to the choices intently.

Tyler Taylor - Chris Green versus Jesse Williams for the OWF World Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match at Bloodbath on August 6th!

Although they want to boo Williams, the crowd instead decides against it and chooses to scream at the top of their lungs for Chris Green.

Tyler Taylor - EJ Slayer and Specter versus Jesse Williams and Vacant in a Tag Team Match on Monday Addiction, on September 8th!

The crowd gives this match a loud ovation, with their motivations behind doing so very unclear.

Tyler Taylor - The Gang Wars Match, featuring Jesse Williams, Specter, Greg Jackson, JC, Drake Munday, Ray Lopes and eight others -- including the eventual winner, Silence, at MVW Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country on October 16th!

With the match still fresh in their visual memory, the crowd full of fans and the OWF Superstars give the match it's proper due with a loud ovation.

Tyler Taylor - Greg Jackson versus Vacant for the OWF Network Championship, in an Electrified Cage Match, at Shock and Terror on June 28th!

Tyler's words are drowned out by the crowd, which has become absolutely deafening at the mention of those two Superstars. A chant of "Please come back!" breaks out, directed at both men, with the crowd unaware of their attendance or absense.

Tyler Taylor - The King of the Mountain Match, featuring Angel, Vacant, Jesse Williams, Trent Steel, Ray Lopes, Chris Green and ten others -- including the eventual winner, Piter Svoboda, at Funeral of Hearts on February 24th!

A warm memory comes to the minds of the people seated in the Banquet Hall, clapping their hands together for one of the best multi-competitor matches in recent OWF History.

Tyler Taylor - EJ Slayer versus Jesse Williams for the OWF World Championship at Drift and Die on September 14th!

A majority of the crowd shows their dislike for both men -- with a small section, comprised mostly of "smarks", chanting "Match of the Year!" loud enough to be picked up by the dozens of microphones placed around the Hall.

Tyler Taylor - The OWF Triple Crown Unification Match between the OWF World Champion, Jesse Williams, the OWF Network Champion, Kid Dynamo, the OWF Univeral Champion, Ray Lopes, and finally Piter Svoboda on Monday Addiction, March 10th!

A mixed reaction hums through the crowd, with some cheering for the sheer accomplishment and others booing for the lack of longeivity for the Triple Crown.

Tyler Taylor - Moxie Roxie versus Vacant for the OWF Network Championship in a Interference Match on MVW Monday Addiction, May 10th!

Another "Please come back!" chant breaks through the Banquet Hall, with the fans who aren't chanting being as loud as they can with claps of their hands and stomps upon the floor.

Tyler Taylor - And finally, Trent Steel versus Vacant in an Unsanctioned Match that was broadcast at Power Hour: Hostile Takeover on July 28th!

The cheers continue for this match, but the chant morphs into "We miss Vacant!". Tyler waits for the fans to quiet themselves before going on with the announcement of the winner.

Tyler Taylor - And the winner of Match of the Year is...

He pauses to pick up the white envelope off of the podium, and he flips it open. He slides the white card out from inside, and reads the printing upon the face of it.

Tyler Taylor - The OWF World Heavyweight Championship Match between EJ Slayer versus Jesse Williams at Drift and Die!

From different points in the Banquet Hall, both EJ Slayer and Jesse Williams are shown stepping away from their respective tables as the screen splits right down the middle -- showing the progress of both men. EJ Slayer, walks towards the left side of the stage while Williams approaches the right side. Both men reach the base of the staircases on either side of the stage and proceed to scale up to the platform. Tyler Taylor steps back as Jesse walks right to the podium, with Slayer looking less than enthused.

Jesse Williams - This award as voted by you, is supposed to mean something. For once, you idiots all got something right by acknowledging two incredible talents fighting with no gimmicks for the greatest prize in the business.

Williams pauses as he takes in the constant booing from the crowd.

Jesse Williams - You can boo all you want, but the fact is that if it wasn't for myself and EJ right here- I'd still be stuck defending this Title in random gimmick matches until the day I died in that ring. I've had Tables, Ladders and Chairs Matches, I've had my challenger be determined by a clusterfuck containing the entire OWF Roster and I wrestled in a Japanese Death Match to put Trent Steel's chances at gold to rest. Yet, none of them came close to this one in my eyes...

Williams is cut off by a thunderous boo that rumbles off all four walls of the Banquet Hall. EJ Slayer keeps his arms crossed standing behind Jesse who remains in front of the podium.

Jesse Williams - Since you'll be seeing me up here again, let me step aside to allow Slayer to express his gratitude.

Jesse steps to his left and motions for Slayer to step forward. He does so, with the boo's lingering on.

EJ Slayer - ... An award? All of you sheep still aren't getting it are you? What a waste.

EJ steps away to his right and leaves the podium, Jesse Williams, and the plaque, behind him. Williams stares as Slayer strolls down the steps and reaches the wooden floor. The cameras follow him for a moment before he disappears in the masses, before they then shift back to the stage. Jesse reassumes his position infront of the podium and picks up the plaque.

Jesse Williams - This will do wonders for decorating my new trophy room. Thank you, Slayer- you're so generous.

Jesse holds up the plaque above his head, receiving another slew of disapproval from the crowd. He turns and heads for the steel staircase on the right side of the stage, which is to his left as he faces the packed Banquet Hall. He steps down to the floor after walking down the steps and heads back towards his table. The only person cheering for him is his new Manager, Apollo, who remains standing at their table to welcome Jesse back. He lays his Match of the Year plaque next to his Tag Team Award, and both he and Apollo sit back down at the table- discussing his win.

... The OWF has had it's cornerstones that held it's foundation together ...

Highlights of the Kill Trent Steel Match from MVW Addiction in May are shown. Trent eliminates Jason Blood, Stonze and Encore in a span of three minutes to win the match and gain a shot at the OWF World Heavyweight Championship.

... But instead, positioned for the shining acheivement of their careers that no one will ever forget ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The cameras positioned around the Banquet Hall pick up movement on the left side of the stage, as we see OWF Announcer Jackie Kissens pick herself up from her seat. She walks towards the middle of the stage and receives a "Welcome Back!" chant as she positions herself directly infront of the OWF Banner. She steps up to the podium and leans her head in towards the microphone.

Jackie Kissens - Hey y'all!

The crowd pops loud for her trademark word.

Jackie Kissens - Thanks for your welcome. It really is great to be back, but tonight isn't about me.

The filled-to-capacity Banquet Hall shushes themselves down to silence, listening intently to Jackie.

Jackie Kissens - I'm here to present the Award for the Upset of the Year. The OWF witnessed many shockers in 2008, with some standing out from the rest. And the nomiees for the Award are...

Jackie glances down at a piece of paper laid on the podium, directly next to the plaque.

Jackie Kissens - Freedom Kid and Akira Kanemura winning the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Team Titles at Bloodbath, on August 6th, in the Pool of Blood Match.

A small "Ak-ir-uh!" chant breaks out, with Jackie speaking over it as she continues on.

Jackie Kissens - Ray Lopes defeating Chris Green for the OWF Universal Title on the March 10th edition of Monday Addiction!

Fresh off of his return, along with the great respect the crowd has for Green, the banquet hall erupts after this choice is spoken.

Jackie Kissens - Gang Wars, at MVW Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country on October 16th, is won by Silence.

A mixed reaction hums amongst the crowd.

Jackie Kissens - Styxx and Stonze defeat Angel and Jesse Williams for the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Titles at Quest For The Best on April 27th.

A even lower buzz comes from the crowd in the Banquet Hall -- with some not recognizing the names of the winners.

Jackie Kissens - Trent Steel defeats Piter Svoboda, to win the OWF Triple Crown Championship, on a March 24th edition of Monday Addiction.

The crowd gives this a loud response, mostly out of respect to the fact that it was shocking to see.

Jackie Kissens - Trent Steel wins the Kill Trent Steel Match on May 12th -- at a very special MVW Monday Addiction.

The cheers are even louder for this feat Steel accomplished, which was even more surprising to them.

Jackie Kissens - And finally, Valtiel winning the Capture The Flag Match at MVW Power Hour: Martyr For Your Country, on October 16th.

With that match being fresh in their minds, the crowd keeps their level of cheer constant from the last nominee as Jackie pulls a white envelope off of the podium.

Jackie Kissens - And the winner is...

She flips open the envelope and pulls the card from it with her left hand. She grabs the plaque with her right hand as she reads off the card.

Jackie Kissens - Trent Steel defeats Piter Svoboda, to win the OWF Triple Crown Championship!

The crowd starts a nice ovation as Trent Steel bursts from his seat and smiles as he slowly walks towards the right side of the stage. He walks around it and approaches the staircase -- grabbing a hold of the bannister and scaling up the stairs two steps at a time. He hops onto the stage and walks directly to Jackie, kissing her on the cheek as she hands him his Plaque.

Trent Steel - Well...You know looking back on this award I can't help but be reminded about a certain group of people who kept talking shit after Piter pulled off what he did. I am not going to name named *cough* JUVI *cough* but some people saw this match as going to be the chopping block once again for me. It seems that whenever a big event happens I am the first to be thrown into the fire. It seems I am destined to lose to everyone in this situation...

Trent smirks as he pulls out a bottle of Jack Daniels from his pocket.

Trent Steel - A toast to everyone who was right...

Trent looks around.

Trent Steel - Oh shit that's right...I won didn't I!

Trent chugs a nice portion of the bottle down and slams it onto the podium.

Trent Steel - When everyone said it couldn't be done who proved them wrong! Funny fucking situation aint it. You know. It... Happened... At... Clash! Here I am the current owner of the tag team championships with my partner hanging in the balance and yet everyone said no. It will be Joe Cool and Matt Jackson. It will be El Plaga. It won't be Trent Steel. It can't be Trent Steel. It will never be Trent Steel. How soon you all forget that to count me out is a bad fucking idea. I beat Piter like the little bitch that he is and always will be. I did what no one tought could be done after he beat Champion X...Y...and Z...I'm not going to make fun of them tonight because they are already shamed enough. To lose to Piter and then to have their titles taken by me!

Trent leans up on the podium.

Trent Steel - Let's remember this next time everyone says Trent Steel can't do it. Because when that happens again I know who I will be facing. I know exactly who I am going to crush.

We cut to a split screen of Jesse Williams and Trent Steel. Williams isn't even paying attention, as he is smoozing with the gorgeous blonde sitting next to him.

Trent Steel - But I'm not going to take his title or his pride...I'm ending you once and for all asshole. I'm out for now...there is only so much well dressed bullshit I can stand without having another drink to keep me from kicking all of your asses!

The crowd breaks off into a bit of an ovation for Trent, but it quickly dies down once he staggers away from the podium and back from the staircase from which he came.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

... 2008 saw few men reach their goals of becoming OWF World Champion ...

Trent Steel defeating Piter Svoboda for the OWF Triple Crown in March is shown, with the looks of shock that the crowd is sending being condensed into a few rapid clips. Trent holds up all three Championships high in the air after his victory.

... Which only laid further claim that the OWF's top prize is the most competitive Championship division in wrestling today ...

Jesse Williams pinning Trent Steel at Clash of Champions in January rolls onto the screen, followed by Jesse's victory over Angel back in April -- earning his fourth and fifth reigns of the OWF World Title.

... One man stepped far ahead of the rest, yet all title changes actually meant something beyond your run of the mill title-swap ...

Campus Chaos in March is now profiled, where Angel defeats Trent Steel just six days after he won the OWF Triple Crown Championship from Piter Svoboda.

... And the Outsider Wrestling Federation will remain the strongest federation running as long as the World Championship, and it's holder, maintain the level of prestige that it has accumulated in the past decade ...

Lastly, the OWF Triple Crown Unification Four Corners Match in March, featuring Jesse Williams, Kid Dynamo, Ray Lopes and Piter Svoboda is clipped down into thirty seconds that showcases all three eliminations -- and major happenings during the match.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The second the video comes to a close, Female OWF Reporter Sum Yung Ho propels herself up to her feet on the far left of the stage. She steps away from the table and heads for the podium with a nice ovation coming from the crowd. She smiles as she passes the "higher-up's" in the OWF and stands in front of the wooden podium, lowering the microphone stand so she can speak directly into it.

Sum Yung Ho - The OWF World Championship had it's most prestigious and respectable run through 2008 -- as it has sent the masses into a frenzy over who will be the next Champion.

The crowded Banquet Hall remains silent, allowing Sum Yung Ho to continue on reading from the paper in front of her.

Sum Yung Ho - This award is presented to the man who did the most for the OWF World Title in the last year, standing out as the Champion of the Year.

She again lowers her eyes to the paper, then lifts them back up to look out into the crowd.

Sum Yung Ho - The nominees for the Award are...

A thick silence hangs over the Banquet Hall as Sum Yung Ho delves right into the list of names.

Sum Yung Ho - Angel!

A loud ovation comes thundering through the room, even though it has been noted he is not in attendance.

Sum Yung Ho - Jesse Williams!

Keeping in tone with the reaction he has received all night whenever his name is mentioned, Jesse is booed mercilessly by the crowd -- forcing Sum Yung Ho to pause, and lose track of the list in her mind. She quickly glances down to her paper, refreshing her memory, and continuing on once the crowd quiets down.

Sum Yung Ho - Piter Svoboda!

The buzz of a very mixed reaction hums in the crowd, basically split down the center when it comes to Svoboda.

Sum Yung Ho - And finally, Trent Steel!

Trent receives a nice ovation for the sheer accomplishment alone -- with the crowd forgetting the main detractor, being a short reign with the OWF Triple Crown Championship.

Sum Yung Ho - And the winner is...

Sum Yung Ho ducks her head down and lifts the white envelope off of the podium from next to the plaque. She opens it carefully and pulls from it a white card. She reads the name to herself before lifting her head back up, and speaking into the microphone.

Sum Yung Ho - Jesse Williams!

Again a large amount of boos come from the crowded Banquet Hall, with Jesse pulling himself up from his table one more time. As he weaves his way through the path of the tables, he keeps his eyes set straight in front of him while heading for the stage. He heads for the right side, darting up the stairs and stepping onto the stage- immediately stepping off towards the podium. He is handed the Plaque by Sum Yung Ho before she steps back and allows Jesse to position himself in front of the podium. He begins speaking over the booing crowd.

Jesse Williams - What's that, three now?

Jesse pauses to take in the boos for a moment.

Jesse Williams - I don't have a speech prepared because this was such a shocker. But, I do have a few people I want to thank. First off, I want to thank myself. Without me, none of this would be possible! Next up, I want to thank my favorite Godson Nicholas Perry for the opportunity to be Champion in the first place.

Williams reaches inside of his gray suit jacket pocket, and pulls out a small white napkin.

Jesse Williams - I want to thank Shyne for being such a pussy on MVW Addiction. Then there's Greg Jackson, who I want to send my appreciation to for falling short of expectations yet again. After him, I have to thank Moxie Roxie for winning that Contract Contest in June and failing to muster up anything the next night when she faced off against me.

Jesse pauses to look back down at the napkin.

Jesse Williams - Chris Green, for coming up short in the last match of his dwindling career at Bloodbath. EJ Slayer gets thanks for pushing me to my limits at Drift and Die, but really being all talk and not enough walk. Then there's Trent, who I have to give my thanks to- just for booking a Japanese Death Match at Cold Black Day so he could come up short and look like a fool in his own setting. Next up, JC- for filling the cliche every wrestler has followed in the past ten years and falling victim to his own circumstance when opposing me.

Williams looks out into the crowd with a confused look on his face.

Jesse Williams - Did I mention Greg Jackson? Well, let me thank him a second time just for good measure.

A stream of boos come in following that verbal jab.

Jesse Williams - And finally, Specter. I thank you for falling right into the hole I dug for you. You allowed me to finally step out of my shell and realize whats important. It's not the fans, it's not my peers. The only thing that matters is what I do. That being said, this Award does more for those eight men, in nine title defenses, than it could do for me. I'm happy to be recognized as such, but I have bigger goals in mind. 2008 is over and we're a month into 2009.

Jesse pauses to discard his napkin to the floor of the stage.

Jesse Williams - Come to me next year when I put the 2009 version of this plaque onto my mantle. Then maybe I'll take notice of your respect. For now? You can all go fuck yourselves.

Williams smiles wide and holds up the plaque, with a smattering of boos being directed right at him. He steps away from the podium and heads for the staircase on the right side of the stage.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

... In a profession where Women are looked at as eye candy ...

Moxie Roxie signing autographs for her fans outside of the Arena is the first video shown as part of the package.

... And are usually delegated to their own division -- never to challenge their male counterparts ...

Clips of Moxie facing Jesse Williams at High Voltage in July, Vacant at MVW Addiction, in May -- along with her two victories for the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Titles -- are all sprinkled in.

... The OWF had a strong history of incredible female talent ...

The few matches Eclipse had in 2008 are shown, mostly with her teaming with Moxie and winning the OWF Blood, Sweat and Tears Tag Titles.

... Although the WoW Championship is retired, and no woman is active on the OWF Roster ...

Alexis Cage and Robin Sparks are shown in the parking lot, spying on Jesse Williams as he looks to exit the arena. Alexis has a syringe in her hand.

... The recent memory of superstardom is embedded in the OWF's legacy for generations to come ...

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

The stage is now shown as a figure, identified as Former Co-President Gloria Morningrod, steps away from the table and begins heading towards the podium. She receives an applause that abruptly ends as she stands before the crowd at the Banquet Hall.

Gloria Morningrod - The WoW division was something I worked very hard on during my time in the OWF. And last year was no exception.

Gloria pauses to clear her throat.

Gloria Morningrod - The nominees for the WoW of the Year are...

Gloria looks down at the podium for a moment, then raises her eyes back to the crowd.

Gloria Morningrod - Alexis Cage!

The crowd boo's the mentioning of her name.

Gloria Morningrod - Eclipse!

A mild applause erupts throughout the banquet hall, before dying down.

Gloria Morningrod - Moxie Roxie!

The cheers become deafening, sending Gloria back a step. She pauses to collect herself.

Gloria Morningrod - And lastly, Robin Sparks!

The crowd remains almost deadly silent, with a few claps coming from the back of the room. Gloria picks up the white envelope and carefully opens it.

Gloria Morningrod - And the Award goes to...

She pulls the card out and reads it.

Gloria Morningrod - Moxie Roxie!

Moxie Roxie stands up from her table out in the crowd. She trots to her left and heads for the side of the stage, eyeing up the staircase up to the platform. Moxie jogs up the stairs and heads straight for Gloria Morningrod, who is now holding the plaque for WoW of the Year. Moxie Roxie reaches the middle of the stage and is handed the plaque by Gloria, who steps back to let Moxie step infront of the podium. She does so, and positions her mouth right infront of the microphone.

Moxie Roxie - Some people would say 2008 wasn't a great year for the women of the OWF. Between me, Alexis Cage, Robin Sparks, and Eclipse, there wasn't a ton of estrogen in the ring. Would I have enjoyed a little more female competition? Certainly, but even with our small numbers, the women of the OWF made their mark in 2008. I mean, none of them had a stable or a really impressive win-loss record, but they were okay. Eclipse was even a tag champion with yours truly. Robin Sparks benefitted from my positive influence. And Alexis, well, Alexis didn't seem to like me. Wherever she is now, I hope they're keeping her away from needles.

Expecting a laugh, Moxie pauses. When silence follows, she continues.

Moxie Roxie - But women weren't my chief opponents in 2008. I made a name for myself by hanging with, and often upstaging the boys. Most of the time, I was the only active chick on the roster. Does that mean I don't deserve this award? Eff no. I take this trophy as proof that the ideals the Spice Girls were founded upon still exist. Girl Power is alive and well in the hearts of Moxie Roxie fans everywhere. But right now, there's somewhere it isn't. The OWF is currently hurting for female talent. At this rate, there won't even be a Woman of the Year for 2009. I implore all you promising young female competitors to step up and climb into the ring. Show the guys that we're just as tough as they are. In the next few months, I'd love nothing more than to see a second way of Moxies, Eclipses, even Alexis Cages popping up in the Outsider Wrestling Federation. Get inspired, ladies. Thank you.

A handful of boos sound out, as Moxie halts her speech, prompting an overwhelming wave of applause. Whether it's from the content of her speech or the mere end is anyone's guess.

- - AWARD PROMO PACKAGE! - -

Vacant performing in many Platform Matches is the first thing profiled. Following that are his victories over Jesse Williams, Moxie Roxie and Greg Jackson. The last image of the former OWF Superstar is him holding the OWF I Heart Moxie Championship over his head.

... Nearly eleven years ago, the OWF was created to bring a new style of wrestling to the masses ...

Piter Svoboda grabbing the Trophy Belt in the King of the Mountain Match is shown, and the OWF Triple Crown Unification Match is clipped down to show most of the highlights of Svoboda in victory.

... It has seen talent come, and talent go -- with some standouts remaining ...

Trent Steel beating off the onslaught of competitors in the Kill Trent Steel Match is profiled first, followed by his Unsanctioned Match with Vacant back in July. Steel pinning Svoboda to become Triple Crown Champion is the last image shown on the screen.

... But a new breed has turned the OWF into a completely different monster in the past year ...

Moxie Roxie performing in the Battle of the Bands Match against Greg Jackson, teaming up with Eclipse and JC to win the Tag Titles, and some of her more high profile matches are clipped together.

Jesse Williams holding the OWF Triple Crown after defeating Angel in April is shown -- it fades to a picture from now, where he still holds the OWF World Championship.

... The only thing left in doubt is -- Who is the Best ...

Specter defeating Vacant for the OWF I Heart Moxie Championship and defending it three straight times to earn the right to rename the belt is merged into about thirty seconds of video. His match with Jesse at Clash of Champions has a few spots included from it, as well.

- - AWARD CEREMONY! - -

Seated directly next to the podium is the President of the OWF, Chase Johnson is shown pushing himself away from his table. He stands himself up and adjusts his suit, stepping infront of the podium to a very mixed reaction from the crowd.

Prez CJ - Thank you. I am here to give out the last Yearly Award of the night -- and it just so happens to be the Wrestler of the Year Category.

A very nice applause comes from the crowd.

Prez CJ - There are some huge names on this list... And they include...

Chase pauses to shoot a glance out to the anxious crowd.

Prez CJ - Jesse Williams!

Jesse's name is met with the same reaction it has gotten all night -- which is a loud chorus of boos.

Prez CJ - Moxie Roxie!

Moxie, already appearing twice, receives a warm reception from the crowd.

Prez CJ - Piter Svoboda!

The mixed reaction for Svoboda continues, with the Banquet Hall splitting in half between cheering and booing.

Prez CJ - Specter!

The stage shakes from the cheers that Specter receives -- one of the loudest of the night that forces CJ to hesitate before continuing the list.

Prez CJ - Trent Steel!

Trent receives a nice ovation, mired by a few boos from the crowd.

Prez CJ - And lastly, Vacant!

Another round of applause comes for the last nomination, Vacant. They keep their ovation for a few seconds as CJ picks up the envelope off of the podium.

Prez CJ - And the winner of the Wrestler of the Year Award is...

He opens the envelope and pulls out the white card that is placed inside.

Prez CJ - Jesse Williams!

Jesse again leaves his nearly vacant table, as Apollo stands up and applauds him- while the rest of the crowd sets off into their boo's once again. Williams walks past a few tables, receiving stares of death from just about every Superstar he passes, and makes his way towards the left staircase leading up the stage. He walks to the podium and has the Plaque handed to him by President Chase Johnson, who now steps back and allows Jesse to position himself in front of the podium.

Jesse Williams - Well, to say this wasn't expected would be a lie.

The crowd amps up their booing after his first statement.

Jesse Williams - Oh come on, drop the bullshit. If anyone in this hall thinks that I didn't deserve this Award, then you've been watching the OWF with your eyes closed and a complete bias. Last year, the OWF lost Aphrodisia and Draco- but who was there to carry the OWF on his shoulders? The World Title was being traded around like steroid needles- yet, who was the one to finally win the Title and give it a prestigious reign?

A chant of "You screwed Specter!" breaks out, and it is soon followed by another chant of "You screwed Jackson!". The feed cuts to Apollo who is still on his feet, as he tries to start a chant of "You screwed Sarah Perry!"- but along with it being reprehensible, it just doesn't flow and therefore doesn't catch on.

Jesse Williams - That's right, it was me. And you resent me for doing everything that you wanted just a year ago. You all turned your backs on me by saying, "It's nothing personal Jesse- I just think Blank winning would be good for business.". But the truth is, it couldn't have been more personal. I took down every name put in front of me, but all you could do was look ahead and try to pinpoint the next opportunity someone would have to take the belt from me.

The fans boo's start to die down a bit, with a few feeling guilty and others growing tired or out of breath.

Jesse Williams - And where are they now? You get your Flavors of the Month, and then they lose their taste- and you spit them out. I've been a constant driving force for the OWF, and now I have something to show for it besides a strap I've worn for nine months. This Award validates everything I have accomplished, and it shows me why I am deserving of this- and deserving to hold onto that World Title as long as I choose.

Jesse takes the plaque and heads towards the right side of the stage. He steps down the staircase and brings his fourth plaque to his table -- where Apollo is patiently seated, clapping both hands together.

CLASS OF 2008
HALL OF FAME INDUCTIONS

Back on the stage, President Chase Johnson stands up from the table and walks behind the podium. The fans silence themselves and turn their full attention to CJ, who waits for the room to completely die down.

Prez CJ - Before we call it a night, there are three very special Awards to give out. And those are to the three members of this past years inductee class for the OWF Hall of Fame!

The crowd gives a nice ovation for the start of the final ceremony.

Prez CJ - The first recipient has been with the OWF for nearly it's entire duration. She has called mathes for names from the bottom of the barrell, to the cream that rised to the top.

The crowd remains silent as CJ continues.

Prez CJ - She started off as a Reporter and worked her way all the way to the top.

He pauses for a moment to clear his throat, making sure all can hear the first name.

Prez CJ - The first member of the 2008 Hall of Fame Class is... Jackie Kissens!

Jackie stands up from the table on the stage, and heads towards the podium with a wide smile on her face. She receives the plaque from CJ, who steps back while Jackie positions herself infront of the microphone.

Jackie Kissens - Wow, y'all. This is special.

She pauses to look down at the plaque.

Jackie Kissens - I have so many people to thank, first I want to thank my two sons -- Tanner and Jesus. Mommy loves you! Next up is my sugar daddy, Greg Jackson, who is at home taking care of our child. Without you three, I don't know if I'd be able to continue on.

She starts to tear up a bit, but holds back the tears.

Jackie Kissens - Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is an incredible accomplishment. For that, I owe my gratitude to the OWF Fans for supporting me, my peers for voting for me -- and most of all, Chase Johnson and Scott Kidd for giving me an opportunity in the first place. I hope I can continue to be one of the voices of the OWF for the distant future. Thank you!

Jackie takes her plaque and returns to her seat on the stage. President Chase Johnson steps away from the backdrop and back infront of the podium -- taking with him a second plaque. He waits for the applause to die down a bit before announcing the next inductee.

Prez CJ - The next recipient has accomplished many great things in the OWF. He is a former Tag Team Champion, and a former OWF Triple Crown Champion -- making him a two time OWF World Champion.

A few members of the crowd applaud the accomplishments listed.

Prez CJ - He may be best known for his antics and his lack of respect for authority -- but either way, he has established his footing deep within the ranks of the best due to his loyalty. He is the second longest tenured active superstar on the roster, and one of the most feared superstars when it comes time to step into the ring.

Chase keeps his eyes set on the crowd.

Prez CJ - Please, give it up for the second inductee of the 2008 Class of the Hall of Fame -- "The Son of a Bitch" Trent Steel!

A nice applause comes from the crowd, with Trent Steel bouncing out of his seat and trotting towards the stage. The crowd drops all apprehensions, and cheers the accomplishment that Trent has acheived for himself. He reaches the base of the staircase and slowly steps upward, making his way onto the stage. Chase hands him his Hall of Fame plaque, and Trent takes it -- following up with a nod as CJ steps back, allowing Trent to man the podium.

Trent Steel - Thanks. I really do appreciate this. You know how everyone in this business wants to someday be a world champion. I don't. Everyone wants to be remembered. That's the one thing we do have in common. Becoming a member of the OWF Hall of Fame is a very special honor that I greatly accept and yet feel unworthy for. No. Not because of how many times Jesse Williams has kicked my ass for the world title. No. Not because of my reign as Lillyass Champion. I don't feel I deserve the honor because I'm not the better man. I never will be. But you all thought in some way that I deserve it. Either for my never miss a show attitude or for the fact that I just don't know when to quit. Maybe it's because I have always made the show up the ratings with my antics. Maybe it's because I'm everyone's favorite dirty word in this business. Doesn't matter. I appreciate the offer and I accept. This is probably the best thing I could have gotten from this federation. Thank you. Good night.

He starts to leave the podium.

Trent Steel - Oh and since I can not stop being a prick...Hey Jesse!...EAT SHIT!!!

The fans cheer as Trent grabs his plaque and heads to the right of the stage. Trent jumps from the stage, over the staircase, and lands on the floor below -- walking to his seat the second his feet are rested. President Chase Johnson steps forward yet again, taking with him the final Hall of Fame plaque. The clapping and stomping for Trent dies down once he is seated once again, and CJ is able to finally gain back all of their attention. He leans and begins to speak once more into the microphone atop the podium, staring out into the now silent crowd.

Prez CJ - The last member of this Class has grown into a household name in the past year. Although the record books may not show all of his feats, this man has accomplished more in a twelve-month span than most do in an entire career.

CJ takes a deep breath, immediately continuing on after exhaling it.

Prez CJ - Having two highly contested bouts with Jesse Williams, one of them consisting of seven matches in a four week span, along with classic matches against the likes of Vacant and Moxie Roxie -- the third person I am about to induct has gained the love and respect of the fans, and his peers.

He pauses for a moment, keeping the anticipation high amongst the crowd.

Prez CJ - The last inductee into the 2008 Class of the Hall of Fame -- Greg Jackson!

The camera remains on Chase, as the fans applaud Greg with all of their emotion -- knowing he is not in attendance. CJ waits for the ovation to die down before cutting back in.

Prez CJ - Unfortunately, Greg isn't here tonight... but he did send in this video packa--

CJ is pushed out of the line of sight by a tall figure, who steps in front of the podium. The spotlight shines on the man, revealed as Matt Jackson, as he stands looking out to the very displeased crowd.

Matt Jackson - On behalf of my brother, Greg Jackson, I cannot accept this award at this point and time. It says a lot to me that Greg isn’t here tonight. Some would say it’s because he has to watch his newborn child. Others might suggest it’s because he’s avoiding a confrontation with me. I choose not to believe either. On a night that’s as big as this is for him, you’d think you’d find a way to be here. Not Greg Jackson. And the reason is that he is NOT a Hall of Famer!

A huge onslaught of boos are sent Matt Jackson's way, but he shrugs them off.

Matt Jackson - Greg has won numerous titles in OWF, but none of them hold any merit. He’s held the PDA title on two separate occasions, only to lose them both on the same night under 24/7 rules. He’s also held the Hard Core Title and the Network Title, which was later renamed the North American Title. Both of those belts were won, and lost with separate closings of OWF. A company only shuts down when it is two weak to remain open. Greg has only been a champion when this company hasn’t been powerful enough to sustain a decent roster. In times where OWF has prospered, Greg Jackson has failed. On numerous occasions, Greg has failed to gain the OWF World Title. He is also known for finishing second place often. Examples include Gang Wars and Mardi Brawl. While there’s no shame in coming second place, when you’ve made a habit of it like Greg has, it starts to get old. OWF should be ashamed of themselves that they’ve attempted to enter a man into the Hall of Fame with no significant accomplishments what-so-ever!

Jackson pauses, taking his time before continuing over the booing crowd.

Matt Jackson - When it comes to beating big name opponents, Greg is also a complete failure. That had changed a bit in December when Greg defeated Jesse Williams in their best of seven series. However, we all know what the all important ending of that was. People who have defeated Greg Jackson reads like a “who’s who” of OWF. People that Greg Jackson has defeated reads like a “who?” in OWF, with some small exceptions. This award appears to be honoured to him on “time served” basis. While time spent in a company is important, it’s prize should be something like a jacket, or a gift certificate. Look through the archives and it is clear that Greg Jackson is not a Hall of Famer. Just like most of Greg’s big matches, Greg’s chances at the Hall should be summed up by the words, “close, but no cigar!” And if being entertaining is any sort of excuse to get in, I think Greg already received an award accounting for that.

Matt Jackson - I would like to congratulate my brother for winning the On Air Segment Award. I’ll make sure he gets it. I’d also like to congratulate my brother for his ability to trick people into believing he’s had a stellar career with this company. However, you won’t be receiving this Hall of Fame Award until you’ve earned it. And if history has taught us anything with you, Greg, you won’t!

Matt grabs the plaque and darts off of the stage. He disappears once he steps to the floor, as the camera cuts to Chase Johnson who stands on the stage looking pissed off. The feed fades to a shot of the OWF logo, before cutting out to black.
