	Gears of War will not be an Xbox 360 exclusive

Just to let you guys know Gears of War is a first person shooter that looks amazing and that was supossed to come out only for Xbox 360 but instead J Allard, (Microsofts Vice President) is alowing it to go on PC and not be an Xbox 360 exclusive which is a dumb move for Microsoft. Eurogamer: You didn't reveal any new Microsoft [Game Studios] exclusives this time around. It was very much sequel sequel sequel sequel, whereas obviously last time you launched with a huge range of first party exclusives. This time it seemed like almost everything had a number on the end. J Allard: Nah, there's Blue Dragon and Ninety-Nine Nights... There's certainly new content. It's hard to say Perfect Dark is a sequel. I don't know when the last time you purchased a new copy of Perfect Dark... quite a while ago! Kameo is new IP as well, so I think we've got a pretty good balance of first party. It's probably about fifty-fifty between sequels that people love and new IP that they'll be trying out that we've not talked about so far. Gears Of War is new IP as well. Zoom in Eurogamer: But is that exclusive to Xbox? J Allard: It's Xbox and PC.

I just don't understand this. Microsoft/J Allard doesn't have to put this game on PC because their the publishers of it but it just doesn't make sense. If you look at the history of video games people buy systems because they see exclusive games that look great and that they can only play on one system which is the system they will have to buy to play it. Example: for Xbox there was Halo and for PS2 there was GTA and Metal Gear Solid. If Microsoft wants to sell more Xbox 360's they should just make this game exclusive to 360. It just doesn't make sense why their not doing that. This is almost as dumb as when Microsoft allowed Halo to go to PC. What a ''smart'' move by J Allard! Is he an idiot or something?
