Camera pans down on
planet VJUN. Planet is situated in bottom right corner of frame. A sleek and
deadly looking fighter flies into the frame from the top right corner. The ship
flies to what we would perceive as the back of the planet. The camera then switches
to an interior shot of the ship’s cockpit. We see the pilot in the center of
the screen as a dark outline. A chime sounds and the pilot activates a button.
Flight Controller
“Unidentified craft, please identify yourself and transmit the appropriate security code on frequency *******.”
The pilot of the ship activates
the communication system and identifies himself:
Bolion Mammoth
“This is Bolion Mammoth. The security code is being transmitted on frequency ***** now.”
Flight Controller
“Bolion Mammoth, you are granted permission to land in bay number **** in the main hangar. Please remain on your present course.”
Exterior view of the
ship flying over a dark green ocean towards a massive vertical cliff. Set atop
the cliff is a giant fortress. In the cliff itself is the main hangar, a large
opening in the face of the cliff. The fighter craft enters the hangar and lands
in the specified bay. Bolion Mammoth exits the ship from the rear of the craft
and heads toward a large door at the back of the hangar.
Bolion walks down a
large stone corridor. He stops at a huge stone doorway that appears to be
sealed. With a wave of his hand he unseals the door and goes through.
Bolion walks forward
and kneels on one knee before a large stone table. Behind the table is another
Dark Jedi. This is Trovan Hak, the leader of the Dark Jedi.
Trovan
“Arise, my apprentice.”
Bolion
“Thank you Master. The Jedi never even knew I was there. I have obtained the holocron, as instructed.”
Bolion pulls a glowing red pyramid from his cloak and hands it to Trovan. Trovan takes it and inspects it closely. Satisfied with his findings he places the pyramid next to ten identical pyramids on the table.
Trovan
“There is only one more holocron left that you need to obtain. You will need all of your skills in order to get this one.”
Bolion
“Tell me where to go.”
Trovan activates a
holographic map in the air above the table and says just one word:
Trovan
“Ossus.”
Bolion
“Ossus, Master? The Jedi home world?”
Trovan
“Yes. The Jedi guard this last holocron in their headquarters. It has been a long time since I was last on Ossus. A long time..”
The scene dissolves in a flash of white light (indicating the flash
back). We see many Jedi at a picnic on a large grassy area. One Jedi, a male in
his late twenties, approaches his wife. This is JediDad and JediMom (official
names will be given later).
JediDad
“Hi. Have you seen Keimar lately?”
JediMom
“He wandered off with Venn somewhere. I think they said something about doing some exploring.”
JediDad
“Well, I’m sure they’re off having fun.”
Keimar and Venn are exploring in the forest. They come upon a rock doorway to a tunnel leading into the mountain.
The two look at each other and seem a little scared.
Keimar
“This place is creepy.”
Venn
“Yeah, let’s go back.”
Back to the picnic.
Keimar and Venn come into the meadow where the picnic is taking place. Keimar
sees his dad and runs toward him. JediDad picks up Keimar and listens to his
adventure.
Keimar
“Dad! We found this really creepy cave.”
JediDad
“Keimar, you should be careful. There are dark places in some of these mountains.”
Keimar
“Dad! We didn’t go in.”
JediDad
“Good job. Have you been having fun with the other Jedi?”
Keimar
“Yeah, me and Venn are having lots of fun!”
JediDad
“Good. Oh, wait a minute.”
JediDad pulls a
comlink from under his robes and answers it.
JediDad
“This is JediDad.” (pause) “At the temple? Now? But everyone is down here at the picnic? Why don’t you come join us?” (pause) “All right, if it is urgent I’ll meet you there.”
JediDad severs the
connection and puts Keimar down.
JediDad
“I’ve got to go back up to the temple to meet with one of the Jedi. Let’s go tell Mom.”
Keimar and JediDad
find JediMom.
JediDad
“I’ve got to go meet Trovan at the temple.”
JediMom
“Now? But I thought he was down here.”
JediDad
“So did I. But he said it was urgent. I’m sure it won’t take long. I’ll be back in no time.”
JediMom
“Ok, but I wish you could stay. I have a bad feeling about this. Are you sure you can’t stay?”
JediDad
“It won’t take long. I’ll be back soon. I love you.”
JediDad kisses JediMom
quickly and then says goodbye to Keimar.
JediDad
“Be good for your mom, ok? I’ll be back soon. I love you.”
Keimar
“I love you too Dad.”
JediDad and Keimar hug
and then JediDad goes to leave. As he walks away the scene flashes white again,
bringing us back to the “present day” (or 20 years after the flashback).
At first we will just
see stone walls and some torches burning in their holders on the walls. Then
from both sides of the frame lightsabers will clash together, forming an X
across the screen. The camera will pull back to reveal two Jedi, Keimar and
Venn. The two padawans are practicing their saber fighting. As the fight
continues from the initial saber lock the two taunt each other.
Keimar
“You will not win this time Venn.”
Venn
“Oh, and why is that?”
Keimar
“I’ve been practicing against JediMaster.”
Venn
“That doesn’t mean you can beat me!”
Keimar
“We shall see.”
Keimar makes a lunge
at Venn. Venn manages to knock Keimar down while at the same time knocking his
saber into the air. As Keimar hits the ground Venn manages to catch Keimar’s
activated saber and shut both sabers off. Venn reaches forward to help Keimar
up. As he does so they hear a solitary person clapping. From the shadows of the
room steps JediMaster.
JediMaster
“You fought well, both of you.”
Keimar and Venn
“Thank you Master.”
JediMaster
“Keimar, why don’t we go for a walk. Venn, keep up the good work.”
Keimar
“Yes Master. Good luck on the next round Venn.”
Venn
“There’s no such thing as luck. See ya!”
Keimar and JediMaster
move out of the practice chamber. As they leave another student leaps down from
a walkway, activating his saber as he falls. The student attacks Venn and they begin
another duel. Keimar and Venn turn a corner and start walking down a large
corridor. As they walk, JediMaster talks to Keimar about the recent saber
practice.
JediMaster
“Keimar you fought well against Venn, but you seemed much more focused when you fought me yesterday.”
Keimar
“Thank you Master. It’s harder for me to concentrate when I fight against Venn. I’m always focused on beating him.”
JediMaster
“And what do you focus on when you fight me?”
Keimar
”When I fight you I know that I have nothing to prove. I know I can’t beat you
because you are so much better than I am. So, I just try to concentrate on
doing my best and following the flow of the Force.”
JediMaster
“Ah…that is where your true power lies, my student. Follow the Force, don’t rely on yourself.”
Keimar
”I know. It’s just difficult when I’m fighting Venn. He’s always been better
than me, and I just want to win. Just once.”
JediMaster
“Well, life is not always about winning an obvious victory. Controlling your emotions and your connection with the Force is much more important.”
Keimar
“Thank you Master. I know that I get distracted sometimes. I will try to focus on the Force more than I have.”
JediMaster
“There is one more thing that seems to hold you back.”
Keimar
“What is that?”
JediMaster
“I sense fear in you, Keimar. Fear that you won’t be a good Jedi.”
Keimar
“Master, sometimes you are a little too insightful.”
JediMaster
“I know you have strong feelings for your father and that you have tried so hard to impress him. Believe me, if he were here he would be proud of you.”
Keimar
“ I don’t feel like I’ve done enough. I know that you knew my father well. Hopefully you are right.”
The two end their walk at Keimar’s living quarters.
Keimar
“Thank you for this talk Master. I will do better.”
JediMaster
“I know you will.”
Keimar enters his room
and shuts the door. He sits down at his desk, glancing at his books. He needs
to study for his courses, but he is still thinking about his father. He looks
at the picture of his father on his desk. Deciding to delay his studies for a
bit Keimar sits down on the floor to meditate. As he does so he starts to see a
vision of the day his father was killed. He sees his father locked in combat
with a dark hooded figure. As Keimar’s father is killed, the dark hooded figure
turns to face Keimar. Keimar cannot see the figure’s face. As the dark figure
reaches out at Keimar the vision ends in a flash of light. Keimar wipes the
sweat from his brow and the scene changes.
Exterior of the forest
near the Jedi temple. Bolion Mammoth is landing on Ossus. After landing he
consults a computer screen which appears to show a map of the library. After a
quick download of the information to his wrist comm. He leaves the ship. He
approaches a large pump station for the temple and cuts his way into one of the
ventilation shafts.
The scene cuts back to
Keimar. He has left his room and is heading into the lightsaber practice room
again. There he finds Venn, who has conquered another student in lightsaber
practice.
Keimar
“I thought I would find you here.”
Venn
“Where else? You ok, you look a little pale.”
Keimar
“Oh, I’m fine. I thought I’d come back down here and try taking JediMaster’s advice.”
Venn
“Ok. If that means I get to chalk up another win that’s fine with me.”
The two Jedi head to
opposite sides of the room and prepare to duel. As they reach their corners
they turn to look at each other. They raise their saber handles to their
foreheads in salute. Then they ignite their sabers. Seeking to gain better
guidance from the Force, Keimar closes his eyes and tries to draw upon the
power of the Force. As he does so, he has a quick vision of Bolion Mammoth landing
on Ossus and making his way through the ventilation system. Understanding that
a Dark Jedi has infiltrated the temple, Keimar opens his eyes and deactivates
his lightsaber.
Keimar
“Venn, come on. There’s a Dark Jedi in the temple and we have to stop him.”
Venn
“What are you talking about? You just don’t want to lose again.”
Keimar
“Trust me on this one. I promise we’ll fight again later.”
Venn
“Ok, lead the way.”
They leave the
practice chamber and head down several corridors. The corridors they take
eventually lead them to a large equipment room that houses much of the
ventilation system machinery. Bolion Mammoth has just emerged from one of the
ventilation shafts.
Keimar
“Stop right there.”
Bolion
“You think you can stop me? You two padawans? Two hundred Jedi could not stop me.”
Keimar
“We’re not your average students. Now set your lightsaber down and surrender yourself.”
Bolion
“Never. At least I’ll get a nice work out.”
Venn
“JediMaster needs to know about this.”
Venn pulls out his
comlink and calls JediMaster. As JediMaster answers the call Bolion attempts to
choke Venn with the Force. Both Keimar and Venn react and use the Force to push
Bolion back against the wall.
Venn
“A Dark Jedi has infiltrated the temple.”
JediMaster
“Where are you now?”
Venn
“We’re on sub-level 3.”
JediMaster
“Ok. I will be there as soon as possible with other Jedi. Do NOT attempt to fight him. Leave that to me.”
Venn
“Yes Master.”
Bolion
“You hear that? Even your precious master doesn’t think you can handle me.”
Keimar
“Hardly. He just wants you alive so he can interrogate you about your other Dark friends.”
Bolion
“Then I will have to force his hand.”
Bolion ignites his
lightsaber and advances toward them. Keimar lights his own saber and steps
toward Bolion.
Venn
“Keimar, JediMaster told us not to fight him.”
Keimar
“We have to. We either defend ourselves or die.”
Keimar runs toward
Bolion and the clash sabers. Venn fires up his saber and joins the fray. The
fight goes on for a couple of minutes with Bolion managing to block the attacks
of both Jedi. Venn tries to push Bolion back with the Force. This really angers
Bolion and he sends Venn flying with a Force push. Keimar attacks Bolion even
more aggressively in retaliation. Venn gets up just as JediMaster and other
Jedi are entering the room. Keimar manages to knock Bolion’s saber away and kills
him with a great overhead swing. JediMaster runs to Venn and Keimar.
JediMaster
“Why did you two fight him?”
Keimar
“We had to master, he attacked us.”
JediMaster
“Why did you strike to kill Keimar? We had just arrived when you knocked his saber away. We could have captured him alive.”
Keimar
“I don’t think so Master. He said that two hundred Jedi couldn’t stop him. Besides, he deserved death for his actions.”
JediMaster
“You are not in a position to pass that kind of judgment Keimar. You should have detained him.”
Keimar
“I thought you would approve of this. I’m sorry that he could not be captured, but this is one less Dark Jedi to worry about.
JediMaster
“Keimar, maybe you should return to your quarters while we take care of this.”
Keimar
“But Master…”
JediMaster
“No buts! Just go, now.”
Keimar leaves the
room.
JediMaster
“Venn, what happened here?”
Venn
“Just what Keimar said. I called you for help. The Dark Jedi attacked us and we defended.”
JediMaster
“I’m worried about him Venn. Keep an eye on him for me over the next few days. If he doesn’t let go of this anger it will consume him.”
Keimar walks back up
the corridors to the main part of the temple. He is still angry about JediMaster’s
reaction. Remembering his vision of a ship, he realizes that the Dark Jedi must
have come in a ship. In his vision he saw the ship landing near a ventilation
shaft. He goes out to find it.
JediMaster and Venn
travel to the Jedi Council room to report on the disturbance. When they arrive,
Venn and JediMaster stand in the center of the room.
Jedi Master Extra
“Please report on this attack.”
JediMaster
“A Dark Jedi infiltrated the temple through the ventilation system. Venn Tarok and Keimar Venoso intercepted him and attempted to detain him. During the fighting the Dark Jedi was killed by Keimar.”
Jedi Master Extra 2
“Do we know why the Dark Jedi was here?”
JediMaster
“No, not yet. The technicians are analyzing the wrist communicator the Dark Jedi was wearing. The contents are encrypted, so it will take them some time.”
Jedi Master Extra
“You seem troubled by this attack, JediMaster.”
JediMaster
“Yes, I sense that there is much more to this than there appears to be. I think he may have been after the Dark Holocron.”
Jedi Master Extra 3
“What makes you think that?”
JediMaster
“Over the past twenty years there have been thefts of eleven dark holocrons from various places in the galaxy. I am not one to jump to conclusions, but they may be attempting to assemble a cronosphere.”
Jedi Master 2
“Cronospheres are only theoretical, JediMaster. No one has EVER proved that they can or would work.”
JediMaster
“Stranger things have happened. It’s just a feeling I have. Nothing more.”
Venn
“Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is a cronosphere?”
JediMaster
“A cronosphere is a combination of 12 holocrons. When the holocrons are arranged into a sphere configuration and activated by someone with the proper Force knowledge the destruction can be immense.”
Venn
“How immense are we talking about?”
JediMaster
“Well, it varies depending on the terrain of the immediate area and the amount of Force users present for the activation of the weapon. Generally you’re looking at the destruction of all life on a planet the size of Ossus or Coruscant.”
Venn
“But what about the people that activate the weapon? It sounds like a suicide weapon to me.”
JediMaster
“The Force users that activate the weapon are safe because they channel their Force energy through the cronosphere. That is what gives the cronosphere its power.”
Jedi Master 2
“As I said before, these cronospheres are simply legends. No one has ever verified their existence.”
JediMaster
“It’s just a feeling I have.”
Jedi Master 4
“Has the Dark Jedi’s ship been recovered?”
JediMaster
“No, I don’t even think it has been discussed.”
Jedi Master 3
“And where has young Keimar gone?”
Venn
“You may have just answered that question. If you’ll excuse me.”
JediMaster
“Where are you going?”
Venn
“To stop Keimar.”
Keimar is inside the
Dark Jedi’s ship and is seeming to familiarize himself with the computers and
controls. He manages to find the location of the Dark Jedi base in the
computers and we see a display of the planet VJUN. Keimar sits down at the
control chair and starts to prepare the ship for take-off. He pushes a couple
of buttons with strange results but finally manages to get the hatch shut. We
hear the engines fire up and Keimar prepares to leave. Venn is running through
the forest towards the clearing that the ship is in. Tthe engines are getting
louder. As Venn approaches the clearing where the ship is docked the ship takes
off over the trees and heads for space. As Keimar leaves Venn wishes him luck.
Venn
“May the Force be with you, my friend.”
Back in the Jedi
Council room the Jedi Masters are still discussing the Dark Jedi attack.
Jedi Master 1
“If we find the Dark Jedi’s ship we could locate their base.”
Jedi Master 2
“A pre-emptive strike could eliminate a lot of trouble.”
JediMaster
“I think it would be a waste to try and locate the Dark Jedi.”
Jedi Master 3
“And why is that
JediMaster?”
JediMaster
“Because they’ll be back. They want the holocron.”
Keimar has jumped to
the coordinates for Vjun and is now approaching the planet VJUN.
Flight Controller
“Unidentified craft, please identify yourself and transmit the appropriate security code on frequency *******.”
Keimar does not
respond because he does not have the security code or proper identification.
Flight Controller
“Unidentified craft, please identify yourself and transmit the security code.”
Four fighters have
been scrambled from the Dark Jedi base and are rushing towards Keimar’s ship.
Flight Controller
“Unidentified craft, please identify yourself or you will be fired upon.”
The four ships are now
very close to Keimar’s position. Knowing that he will have to initiate the
attack in order to get past these ships he lines one up in his crosshairs and
fires. He destroys the first ship and the other three ships maneuver to attack
him. A short space battle ensues. Keimar does take some damage but manages to
destroy the other three ships. He lands near the fortress and cuts his way into
the fortress. He fights his way past the automated defenses and makes his way
into a large chamber in the center of the fortress. As he enters, the massive
door seals itself behind him. A voice speaks over an intercom system.
Trovan
“Welcome to my home, young Jedi. I would ask for the purpose of your visit, but you seem a little angry. Maybe you should calm down. You know that anger only leads to the Dark Side.”
Keimar
“You coward. You hide behind an intercom. I am here to avenge my father. Come out and fight me, if you dare!”
A panel hisses open on
the side of the chamber and Trovan enters the room, his saber already
activated. Keimar activates his own lightsaber and takes an offensive stance. They
begin to fight, but break off after a few blows.
Trovan
“Gladly. However, you may want to rethink your revenge angle. Your father was not killed by a Dark Jedi. He was killed by the Jedi Masters.”
Keimar
“So it is true. Dark Jedi are incredible liars.”
Trovan
“Oh this isn’t a lie young one. Your father was trying to join me when he was cut down by a Jedi Master.”
Keimar is confused by
this. No one told him the details of his father’s death, only that he was
killed by a Dark Jedi.
Keimar
“My father was a good Jedi. He would have never joined you.”
Trovan
“Oh, but he would. You see, the true power of the force lies in what some call its Dark Side. But there is no such thing as the Dark Side. There are those who use the full extent of the force and those who do not. The Jedi did not want your father to reach his full potential. When he attempted to join me he was killed. I barely escaped.”
Keimar
“Why should I believe you?”
Trovan
“What reason do I have to lie? I have told you the truth. I suspect that the Jedi Masters have not told you about your father’s death.”
Keimar
“No, but that doesn’t mean you are right.”
Keimar has a quick
flash of a vision showing his father on the ground with a JediMaster standing
over him. The vision shows the Master picking up a holocron from the robes of
JediDad. Trovan senses that Keimar is a bit off balance from this information
and knocks Keimar’s saber into the air and then pushes Keimar down. As the
lightsaber falls, Trovan catches it and deactivates both sabers, just as Venn
did earlier during practice.
Trovan
“But it doesn’t me I am wrong either. Come, join me. Learn the path that your father would have.”
Trovan offers Keimar
his hand. After a moment’s hesitation, Keimar takes it.
Back on Ossus. Venn
and JediMaster are on a balcony outside. The sun is setting over the distant
mountains. JediMaster and Venn are talking about Keimar. It has been several
months since Keimar left.
Venn
“Keimar has been gone for several months now JediMaster. I don’t think he survived his attempt against the Dark Jedi.”
JediMaster
“I think he did survive. He is at least alive, I can feel that much.”
Venn
“Do you think Keimar will ever return JediMaster?”
JediMaster
“Yes, I think he will return.”
Venn
“What happened to his father, anyway?”
JediMaster
“That is a long story. It was twenty years ago, during a picnic. JediDad received a call requesting that he return to the temple. JediDad….”
Dialogue fades out as
camera moves away from the two.
The sun sets and the
night grows dark. In the same meadow where Bolion infiltrated the temple, two
dark silhouettes enter the ventilation shaft area. The two figures eventually
make their way to the area where the holocron is kept.
Trovan
“Keimar, get the holocron and return to me.”
Keimar enters the room
and gets the holocron. He is heading back towards the ventilation system when
Venn arrives.
Venn
“Keimar, what are you doing? Why are you taking the holocron?”
Keimar
“Venn, stay back. I am no longer a Jedi, not as you know them anyway.”
Venn
“Where you have been?”
Keimar
“I have been training with the Dark Jedi, as they are called.”
Venn
“Why? Come back to the Jedi Order. I know they will let you. Stay with me.”
Keimar
“No Venn. I must go. Don’t try to stop me. I don’t want to fight you.”
Venn
“Fine.”
Keimar gets back in
the ventilation shaft.
Trovan
“Well done, my young apprentice. Let’s go.”
The two dark Jedi return the way they have come. Venn goes to find
JediMaster and the rest of the Council.
JediMaster
“What happened?”
Venn
“Keimar returned and stole the holocron.”
JediMaster
“Was he alone?”
Venn
“As far as I could tell. Why?”
JediMaster
“Either Keimar has fallen further than we thought, or there were two Dark Jedi present. I felt a large source of Dark power.”
Venn
“Well, I think I know where they might be going. Let’s go.”
The scene moves to a
large dark cavern. The Dark Jedi have the twelve holocrons and are assembling
the cronosphere. Trovan holds the last holocron and is starting to put it in
place when JediMaster, Venn, and many other Jedi appear in the cavern.
JediMaster
“Trovan Hak. After all these years you still couldn’t give up. You have no power over yourself anymore. You belong to the Dark Side. Give up now and we will not harm any of you.”
Trovan
“Why should we surrender now? All of the chips are on our side of the table. As soon as we complete our work here, the Jedi Order will be greatly weakened. This will coincide nicely with my domination of the galaxy.”
JediMaster
“Stop this now Trovan. I won’t warn you again.”
Trovan
“Then let’s get this over with.”
The Dark Jedi step
forward, their red sabers blazing. The Jedi step up and bring their sabers into
defensive positions. Trovan leads the charge and attacks JediMaster. The other
Jedi spread out and fight individual Dark Jedi. Venn takes on a Dark Jedi and
manages to slay him. He turns to find Keimar. Keimar is fighting another Jedi.
Venn runs up and intercedes in the fight.
Venn
“I’ve got him.”
Keimar
“I told you I didn’t want to fight you.”
Venn
“Well, you don’t have to. Listen to what I have to say. It is about your father.”
Keimar
“You know nothing about my father. The masters have been hiding the truth all along.”
Venn
“What are you talking about?”
Keimar
“The masters killed my father Venn.”
Venn
“Who told you that? That Dark moron over there? And you believe it? Come on Keimar, you’re smarter than that. The masters didn’t kill him. Your fearless leader over there did.”
Keimar
“No, my father wanted to join him.”
Venn
“No, your father tried to stop him.”
Keimar is dumbstruck
at this news. He realizes that it is true. He sees another Force vision, this
time showing that it was Trovan who killed him. The vision shows JediDad
entering a large chamber with stone columns supporting the roof and a large
reflecting pool in the center of the room. Beside that pool is a Jedi in dark
robes. It is Trovan Hak, although he appears to be younger.
Trovan
“Thank you for coming.”
JediDad
“No problem. I wish you would have joined us at the picnic. Almost everyone was there. It was a lot of fun.”
Trovan
“I had some other things to do here.”
JediDad
“Well, you’re missing out. So, what’s this about?”
Trovan pulls a
pyramidal holocron from his robes.
Trovan
“I found an ancient holocron in the archives. It belonged to a Dark Jedi. The holocron explains much about the power that is found in the so-called “Dark” side of the Force. I have learned much and the power is incredible. I am leaving the Jedi here. I want you to come with me and learn these things too.”
JediDad
“No way Trovan. I can’t just leave my family and come with you in some free fall into darkness. I don’t think you should mess around with this stuff anymore. If you want to leave I can’t stop you, but I really wish you would change your mind.”
Trovan
“I thought that from our years of friendship I knew you better. I guess I was wrong. I can’t leave you here to inform the Masters of my plan, so I guess things will have to end here.”
Trovan brandishes his
lightsaber and moves to attack JediDad. JediDad ignites his own lightsaber and
defends Trovan’s blows.
JediDad
“Trovan! This is madness! What are you doing?”
The fight continues on
briefly. Ultimately Trovan does strike down JediDad. Just as Trovan delivers
the death blow we see JediMaster enter the chamber.
JediMaster
“Nooo!!!!!!!”
JediMaster lights his saber and advances towards Trovan. Angrily Trovan
hurls bolts of Force lightning back at JediMaster. JediMaster is able to absorb
the bolts, but it distracts him enough that Trovan is able to flee. JediMaster
returns to the body of JediDad. He stands over him, with his lightsaber still
lit. JediMaster bends down and takes the holocron that Keimar grabbed during
the fight. Keimar (in the cavern fighting Venn), then realizes he was seeing
this last part in his earlier visions. It was the Dark Jedi after all.
Keimar
“Venn, you’re right. How could I have been so foolish?”
Venn
“Well, you always were a little slow.”
Keimar
“Let us end this. Now.”
Keimar and Venn make
their way through the battle to Trovan and JediMaster. JediMaster is steadily
pushing Trovan back. As Trovan sees Keimar he commands him to help.
Trovan
“Keimar, this is the Master who killed your father. Take your revenge.”
Keimar
“Oh, I will.”
Keimar slashes through
Trovan. With a look of utter surprise Trovan falls to the floor of the cavern.
JediMaster seems surprised too at this quick change of events.
JediMaster
“Keimar?”
Keimar
“Master, I am so sorry. I was fooled by the Dark Jedi, and by myself. I thought that my father had been killed by the Jedi. I am sorry.”
JediMaster
“There will be time
for this later. Let’s finish this up.”
As the three of them turn
to help with the battle they realize that it is over. The other Jedi have
prevailed against the Dark Jedi. The Jedi have taken casualties, but overall
they are victorious.
JediMaster
“Well, it looks like everyone else took care of things for us. Let’s get the cronosphere and go home.”
Keimar
“Shouldn’t we just destroy it?”
JediMaster
“No. The holocrons need to be separated, but we will not destroy them. They will be spread to different parts of the galaxy for safekeeping.”
Keimar
“Sounds good to me.”
The three approach the
table where the cronosphere is and JediMaster takes the cronosphere. The three start
to leave the cavern as the other Jedi begin to stack up the bodies of the Dark
Jedi.
A few days later
Keimar, Venn and JediMaster are conversing in the
JediMaster
“Well, today’s the day.”
Venn
“For what?”
JediMaster
“The holocrons are being spread throughout the galaxy. The ships are preparing to leave now.”
Keimar
“Good. I don’t ever want to see one again.”
JediMaster
“I am glad to hear that. This day holds another surprise as well.”
Keimar
“What’s that,
master?”
JediMaster
“Keimar, you are not only being reinstated into the Jedi Order, but you are also being advanced to the level of Jedi Knight.”
Venn
“Congratulations!”
JediMaster
“Don’t feel too envious yet, Venn. You are now a knight also.”
Keimar
“Awesome!”
Venn
“Yeah! But, with all of the Dark Jedi destroyed, who do we have to fight?”
JediMaster
“Oh, evil is just about everywhere. There are many adventures left for you two.”
Keimar
“I’m ready.”
Venn
“Me too.”
The trio had reached a
balcony looking out over the mountain. As they watch, twelve ships depart from
