1/2 of a 17.3 ounce package of frozen puff pastry sheets (1 sheet)
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons fennel seed
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
Thaw the pastry at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it's easy to handle.  Heat the oven to 400   F.  Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Stir the oil, sugar, fennel, salt, and cumin in a small bowl.
Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.  roll the sheet into a 12x10-inch rectangle.  Brush the pastry with the oil mixture.
Cut cross-wise into 1-inch strips.  Roll/twist into desired breadstick shape.  Place strips 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden.  Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.  Serve warm (or cooled, if desired).
