| Gentlemen, On behalf of the men of the 33rd Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and "The Acorn Boys" Mess, I would like to thank you for your interest in the 33rd O.V.I. We are an authentic group of like-minded Civil War Living Historians (re-enactors) from the Tri-State region of Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky, who represent the men that served in the 33rd O.V.I., 14th Army Corps, and the generic "Western Federal" soldier. Each day these men are forgotten more and more by the lack of history practices in public education, and more and more battlefields and important sites are lost to economic development. We strive in every pursuit to portray and represent these soldiers who endured the hardships and sacrificed thier lives to preserve this great country. We achieve these goals through living history demonstrations, battle reenactments, and historic preservation initiatives. So come along with us and help preserve the memory and the life of the soldier that served in the 33rd O.V.I., "The Acorn Boys", and live the life of that soldier who fought and died in the American Civil War. I hope to see you in the field soon! For more information, please contact our company Recruiting Sgt. to the left. I remain, respectfully, Capt. Andrew Potter commanding [email protected] |
