| Strong Rod Ends (Yokomo MR-4TC) |
||||||||||||||||||
| Other MR-4TC owners might agree, the standard rod ends can become worn with use and removal from the ball joint (especially when you need to use a pliers to get them off!). Camber can change during running if the rod ends are loose. Recently, we changed out worn rod ends for our front suspension and used TN Racing strengthened parts. | ||||||||||||||||||
| As you can see, the old parts are quite bent and chewed up from repeated adjustments and removal. The thread is also worn inside, so much so that we can turn camber adjustment with our finger. | ||||||||||||||||||
| The TN Racing aftermarket part bag. It had 20 rod ends in it! Quite an amount for around $9 USD. | ||||||||||||||||||
| The design is slightly different from Yokomo part. These have a broader top end so your pliers can grip easily. Also, they have the feeling of being quite heavy duty. | ||||||||||||||||||
| And here is the part installed for comparision. TN part is in the fore on the camber rod while the original Yokomo rod end is on the toe rod. Soon it will be replaced with the TN part also. So far they seem very good. Overall, we give an A! (^^) | ||||||||||||||||||
