| The official 2nd single, as discussed, is "Toxic," HOWEVER, east coast stations have the option to ditch it, and play "(I've Got That) Boom Boom" in its place. West coast has the option of "Outrageous." Each coast, however, are granted permission to play either if the other doesn't fit the audience. "Showdown" is the selected alternate single for the Canadian market, if they choose not to spin "Toxic". |
| "Toxic" was officially released to CHR/Pop radio stations last Friday. "Outrageous" and "Boom Boom" were sent on the same compact disc marked as alternatives to "Toxic" and the only reason they were released first was for testing purposes. They were never meant to become part of the regular rotation on CHR/Pop stations. However, they were reacted to well and were provided as alternatives to stations where "Toxic" isn't doing well, which is obviously for future reference. |
