who are we?
well we are sabrina, jen and farah back from our overseas adventure in honduras and ready to share with you who we are and a bit about our trip. but first we'll tell u how we got here.

in april of last year students all over canada raised money for the world vision 30-hour famine and students who raised more than $250 were invited to write an essay on overseas development.

ten students were then invited to spend a week in toronto visiting various projects that world vision funds locally (sketch, the dam, all aboard). we visited other places such as young people's press and muchmusic.during our stay in TO we were interviewed by world vision staff and three students were picked to travel to honduras..that would be us

farah kurji is a grade eleven student from richmond, bc. she enjoys writing, reading and helping out in the community. farah is an active member of student council and has been involved in the 30hour famine for three years. in the future farah hopes to get a degree in international relations or journalism and teach overseas

sabrina brown is a second year college student from red deer, alberta. sabrina is attending red deer college and wants to be a pediatrican. in her spare time sabrina enjoys hanging out with her friends, talking to complet strangers, answering her door in a towel and making a difference.
jen is a 20 year old nova scotioner. she is currently attending mount saint vincent university and working at tims. jen plans to take the better photos from the trip and sell prints to raise money for wv. in the future jen sees her self working with people who have a passion for peace and equality, and enjoying every minute no matter where she ends up.
