Ok...the history of the Overnite Truckers goes really far back. Almost 10 years ago Michael and Andrew met in grade school. Their first band actually started about 4 years ago in a band called "The After Thought" and they got their first taste of life on the stage. Rob and Andrew met at CBHS and started fooling around with each other and then about 2 years ago they decided that they would have a cover band with Rob on Drums, Michael on Bass, Andrew on guitar, and Andy Flemming as the singer. The name...."The Big Fat Happy Chinamen" and that band rocked. Now the talent show at CBHS was coming up and "the band" recruited Loyd Rieves for guitar and vocals and once again rocked the house under the new name of the Overnite Truckers. The name came from a jacket Andrew got at the thrift store. Loyd sadly died from a freak watermelon eating contest <R.I.P.> and they soon forgot about him. The next year for the talent show Rob, Michael, and Andrew finally re-united as the Overnite Truckers and continued the band to this day. During February 2004 they toured Brazil and got a record deal from Taylor Lonardo's renowned White Trash Recordings and the future plans are touring the west coast with Alfonzos Concrete Gorillaz for a Rap/jam band tour.That is the true story of the Overnite Truckers.....I swear.
