Well, here's the first story.  It's not a doozie, but it happened last night.  Unfortunately, it happened before my shift, so I only got to witness the end of it.  It is however a great representation of life overnight at this hotel.  It started at about 11:20pm.  The security guard was called up to the third floor to respond to several noise complaints.  As is usual here, it wasn't just a noise complaint, but two women in towels screaming at each other and fighting on the floor in the hallway.  The security guard broke up the first fight, sent the two women into separate areas, and then had to break up a fight between two other women inside the room since the woman he had sent outside had come back in and reentered the room.  After he "peeled them off of each other", the police had arrived and separated the women.  It turns out that there were four women involved in the fight, and all of them got kicked out of the hotel.  On par with the insane guests that come to our hotel, the first woman stated to the police that she was "half white" apparently believing that this would get her out of the trouble.  Thinking that she needed that help, the second woman chose to inform the police that her mother was a judge.  The police believed neither of them, and escorted them off the premises.  This is where I came in...At the end of the "escorting".  Too bad I didn't get to see the towel fight portion.  On their way out the women didn't understand why they couldn't stay at the hotel and then why they couldn't get their money back from the room.  It was explained to them that usually you don't get refunds from breaking the law and disturbing about three floors worth of guests.
So that's it...nothing special, but my first story from overnight.  I'm going to spend the rest of the night looking through our incident reports since January to get the back stories for the archive page.  Unfortunately, it only goes back to the beginning of this year since we cleared all the last years' incident reports and I probably won't remember enough details to make a decent entry.  And hopefully when I am going through the incidents myself I will have better, more involved stories.  That's all for now.  More next time some crazy retard goes off the deep end.  Peace.
