My first arcade game was a Galaxian. I traded a Super Nintendo for it. No shit. I was broke at the time, and the Galaxian looked pretty cool in my tiny apartment. This was when the Sony Playstation was first coming out, and I decided I needed a new Playstation more than the Galaxian. What an idiot I was.
A year ago, after getting into a much more comfortable financial situation, I decided I wanted another game. It was luck that I found this pretty cool Space Invaders cocktail table. It's twenty two years old, and CLEAN. There's still a few things that I need for this thing, like a new tabletop glass and new control panel overlays, but I'm pretty satisfied with it. |
