First of all I'd like to thank Brian for
letting me use his mod, check out his site at http://www.indyguitarist.com/.
He has a great mod book available to buy
and if you sign up for the newsletter you get some free mods. Seccond
of all, thanks to JackFuzz from guitargeek who is sending me his SD-1
so I can mod it and do some clips!
This mod mimics the sound of the Fulltone
Fulldrive II
which retails at $200US and £199
pounds. Pretty expensive ay? This mod is pretty easy but is supposed
to sound fantastic!

Replacing Components
D4 and D6
D4 and D6 use a 1n4001 and a
germainium diode in series, this means one after the other. I've
asked about and some people say it does matter which way around they
go if they were used in a larger project, but for this purpose the
general feeling is that it wouldn't matter. Just wire one diode to
the board, say the 1n4001, then wire the germainium to that and the
other side of the germainium to the other side of the board. Like

I'll post clips when I have completed this modification.
