| When Dawson signed a form to pick up Mr. Brooks's Medicines, he got a little more than just the obligation to do that. Now with Mr. Brooks in the hospital living on machines, it is Dawson't decision as to wheather or not to pull the plug and let him die. Dawson is very upset about having to make the decision. Dawson is looking for a sign when the guy that ran off with the love of Mr. Brooks's life comes into the hospital room and tells Mr. Brooks goodbye. He tells Dawson that Mr. Brooks wrote him a month ago asking for forgiveness. He also told Dawson that a few years back, Elli died and he couldn't tell Mr. Brooks because he knew Mr. Brooks's pain would be greater than his pain. He said that Mr. Brooks beat him and now Mr. Brooks will get to see Elli first. Dawson's decision is made. Joey calls Dawson and Dawson tells Joey that it is terrifying to let go, but once you do, you feel liberated and free. Gram's and the Leery's are all there as the plug is pulled and Mr. Brooks dies. Dawson stays behind to tell Mr. Brooks goodbye. Dawson shows one of Mr. Brooks's films to Grams, Gretchen, and his parents and tells them he thinks this is how Mr. Brooks would have wanted people to remember him. Joey, Jack, Jen, and Pacey are going on their senior ski trip. Jen and Jack are assigned a room together as are Pacey and Joey. Jen says that she just wants to have a good time, and she falls and hurts her ankle seconds after she ays this. On the way to dinner, she falls again, this time landing on her back after taking flight. Dinner conversation, intercourse. This makes Joey really uncomfortable. Then, to top things off, she loses the argument that all men don't carry condoms. Pacey says he forgot his wallet. When they leave, Joey tells him she knows he has his wallet and she is upset to find that he has a condom in his wallet after they agreed that they would not discuss sex this weekend. Jack and Jen start drinking together and before they know it they are both drunk. Pacey tries to assure Joey that things are fine between them. Pacey confesses that he has always been afraid that her first time would be with Dawson and that he is still afraid that it will be. She asks him why he has stayed this long and he gets upset and goes for a walk. Jack confesses to Jen that he is scared of being alone. He tells her he is scared that he will never find a guy that he loves as much as he loves her. This brings tears to her eyes. They kiss. YES you read it right. Things start getting hot and heavy between them and Jen stops him. Jack pleads that this is what he wants, but Jen tells him they have both had too much to drink and that this is something that they shouldn't be doing. While Pacey is out on his walk, Joey calls Dawson to see how he is handling things with Mr. Brooks. Dawson tells Joey his decision to pull the plug and tells Joey that sometimes letting go and giving in is terrifying, but when you do, the terror goes away and you begin to feel liberated and free. This helps Joey to make a decision of her own. While Pacey is out walking, Anna catches up with him and they go and talk, but when Anna puts the moves on and makes it clear that she wants to have sex with Pacey, Pacey says no. He tells her that he loves Joey and that sex dosen't matter. He loves her and is willing to wait. Joey overhears his conversation and as he walks away from Anna, she greets him. Joey tells Pacey that he dosen't have to be so perfect, but in the same turn, she dosen't have to be so scared. Pacey suggests that they go back to the room and cuddle and he will tell her a story. When they get to the room, Joey asks Pacey if he still has the condom and he says yes and offers to throw it away. Joey tells him she only wants to throw away the wrapper. She starts listing the things that she loves about him like him understanding without a word why she wasn't ready and tells him not to ask now why she is ready. Meanhwile she begins undressing him. She tells him what he told her at the begining of the relationship. She says "I am going to count to ten and then I am going to kiss you. If you don't want me to kiss you then you better stop me." They start getting hot and heavy and the episode ends. |
