| Mrs. Valentine tells Joey she can have time off for her senior trip under one circumstance, she and Pacey have to double date with Drew and Anna Evans. Joey is ok with this but Pacey seems to be a little to friendly. Drew continuosly insults Anna and finally she blurts out that she never should have slept with him. Drew confides in Joey that he is really bad with women. After psychoanalyzing Drew, Joey tells him to just be real and be honest. Drew make up with Anna and all is well there. Pacey is pressuring Joey about sex and Joey tells him that she is scared and Pacey admits that he is scared too. They make the decision to be scared together. Dawson goes out with Gretchen who has been recieving the cold shoulder from Mrs. Leery. Dawson gets to meet Gretchens friends and hear about their lists of loosers. Dawson is scared that he will be number 7 on the list and tells his mom that. Gretchen stops by and as Mrs. Leery heads for bed she tells Gretchen that she thinks they will both agree that Dawson won't be number 7 on any list. Dawson felt out of place all night and it all began when he had to have his hand stamped with under 21, then he couldn't go to a bar that didn't card because of the stamp. Poor Dawson. Things were okay in the end though. They explained how they felt to one another and Gretchen told Dawson that she likes him because he won't be one of those loosers and informs Dawson that her friends really liked him. Tobey invites Jack to come and help tutor Junior high kids with reading because they are short on people. Jack goes and things go well. Tobey is surprised because Jack got a kid excited about coming back who had never been excited about it before. Tobey invites Jack to have coffee with him and tell him that he is meeting friends. Jack agrees to go but changes his mind when he gets there and sees that they are meeting another couple. Jack decides not to stay and tells Tobey that they will never be more than friends after Tobey informs Jack that he would like to be more than friends. Jack tells Tobey that they just don't click and that there is nothing there. Jack tells him one more time that they will not be more than friends and leaves. Dawson and Mr. Brooks finally finish the documentary. Mr. Brooks Pancreatic cancer is getting worse and he can't get out of his wheel chair alone. As Dawson helps him get out of his wheel chair Mr. Brooks gives Dawson a big unexpected hug and looks as though he is about to cry. Dawson finally has Mr. Brook's approval as Mr. Brooks tells him he is a good film maker. Mr. Brooks spends the evening with Gram's. When he begins to get tired, Gram's puts the game away and discovers that Mr. Brooks hasn't been taking his pills for weeks. She is really upset by this and tells him, but he tells her that he dosen't want to take them anymore. As Grams leaves to head home for the evening so that Mr. Brooks can get some rest, Mr. Brooks once again looks as if he is going to cry. The next morning Dawson goes to Mr. Brooks's to find him lying on the floor. That is the way this episode ended. I am not positive, but I believe Mr. Brooks has passed away. |
