The Farmer's almanac predicts rain, however the skies are clear and beautiful. Dawson and Joey get into an arguement over a story called "The Two Gentlemen of Verona." This story closely relates to their current situation. Drue suggests that they prepare a debate for the following day, but Drue ends up having to participate as well. Since the three of them have to work on the debate at the Yacht club after school, Joey can't go sailing with Pacey to celebrate his first A of the year. Jen decides to go with Pacey thinking that maybe some sailing will take her mind off of Henry. The sailing was great at first until a fierce storm blew in  with winds stronger than a hurricane, leaving them stranded miles from Capeside and it was to dangerous to try and return. Joey informs Dawson that Pacey and Jen are on "True Love" and Dawson is forced to try and rescue him when the Coast Guards won't. Dawson is the ony person who know where Pacey will try to dock. The Coast guard informs him that the port is a dangerous place and Dawson states that Pacey dosen't know that. Andie's emotional problems come back to haunt her during an interview with Mrs. Valentine, an alum from one of her second choice schools. Mrs. Valentine doubts Andie's ability to handle the pressures of an ivey league school. When the storm hits Capeside, Mrs. Valentine panics and Andie takes over assigning jobs for everyone and trying to radio Dawson and Joey. When Dawson and Joey pull up next to Pacey in a stronger boat, Jen quickly hops aboard. Pacey, however, is reluctant and does not make the transfer until Dawson hops on "True Love" with him, But it is when Joey yells please that Pacey and Dawson make the transfer to the new boat. When the four of them arrived at Capeside everyone was relieved to see that they were okay. As Jen and Grams left, Jen noticed Grams looked troubled. She asked what was wrong. Grams told Jen that she had doubted her faith. Jen reassured grams by telling her that she didn't lose it, she lent it to Jen, and thanks her. Joey tells Pacey that the next time he is faced with a decision like tonight, he should remember he is deciding for two now!
