OUTWOOD V TURNERS HILL - 9 JULY 1966

At least one of us can remember being on a cricket tour in July watching England win the soccer World Cup - what a great combination!  But there is another reason for remembering July 1966.

OUTWOOD INNINGS
Outwood batted first and scored 122, top scorers being Nick Wright (49) and a certain John Christie (33).

John Bance conceded a further 3 runs from his 4th over - and a run out finished the innings off the last ball.

The innings lasted 28 minutes and was 7 overs in duration.

There were 9 ducks.
