I've never spent time with a more special man. Kevin was kind, caring, interested in everything we said and we laughed all evening. Six and a half hours with Kevin Nash and we ended the evening with hugs and wonderful memories.
Kevin told great stories from the past and his feelings about the present gig in TNA. He likes his life the way it is now and if he only works a few days a month it's fine with him. He has more going for him than just wrestling, like his movie career. The Longest Yard is to premier in the spring of 2005 and I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Kevin ate dinner with us, posed for individual pictures as well as a group photo. He autographed anything we handed him and just devoted his entire evening to us because many of us had come over a thousand miles to meet him and he would not dream of disappointing us. We are members of his offical fan club and being members definitely paid off because this opportunity was open only to us.
I personally came away with a big smile on my face and the memory of an unforgettable evening with a very gracious man. I want to thank his wife for parting with him for the evening and for all of her efforts in making this event happen. Tamara, thank you so much. It meant a lot to all of us and we were sorry you were unable to come too. I hope we meet someday. You must be a very special woman to be in Kevin's life, or maybe he's the one who is special to be in your life. Whatever the case, thank you again for all you did to make this an evening we will never forget.
