| Gundam is one of the most popular anime series of all time.Gundam Wing is another chapter in the Gundam Universe. This chapter takes place at a controversial time when space is beginning to declare its independence to the Earth. Unlike the original Gundam, space has the disadvantage. In order to fight back, the space colonies dispatch five mobile suits made of Gundanium alloy known as Gundams. The colonies intention is to disguise the five suits as shooting stars and land them on different sides of the Earth. This mission is known as Operation: Meteor. The Gundam's objective is to attack Oz, a secret organization behind the Earth Sphere Alliance, in guerilla warefare. The purpose of the Gundams is to prevent a great war between Earth and Space.
