This article was written by William Monroe Hill, my great grandfather. Included in
his article is mention several events of the current times. He mentions of how the
fever got Aunt Sissy Chenault down.

How hot and dry it is, as needing rain in the area. How if it wasn't for the worms,
cotton would be better, but better to have rain.

Mention is Elder Keel. Along with J.D. Brawley, of whom several photos is in our
family photos, now in possesion of the Leathers Collection.


Mention is a Miss Lou Profitt. " Oscar Hill" a family member of William M. Hill of
Parker County, Texas.  Also mention is John Lynch and Ms. Dobbs, going to visit
G.L. Dobbs of the Plains.  Mention is the Union Cotton Gin of Parker County, Tx.

Mention is W.W. Davis and family visting the Glipson family the past weekend. As
W. J. Sims continues to bale hay for his brother.  As well with the Rev. holding the
Protractee at Bethel near the "Clear Fork" bridge.  As all is quiet.  Best wishes to
all.
