Bowling_Browder_brother_in

Bowling Browder was the brother-in-law to Jesse Woodson James. Bowling and
Jesse had married sisters. Bowling Browder married Lucy Mimms, and Jesse
married Zerelda "Zee" Mimms.

Jesse James came to his end on April 3, 1882 as his mother mourned the loss
of her son. The James Gang had operated in many States, as family members
who knew the outlaws Frank James & Jesse James were reluctant to give any
possible insight into such activities. Others who knew, mostliky came from first
hand knowledge as the James gang was known to visit.

As the death of Jesse James occured on April 3, 1882 the whereabouts of Frank
was unknown to many. Frank James, more aware of how desperately the James
gang were sought by lawmen, had temporary drifted out of sight again.

His ability to "watch over his brother Jesse" as many speculated was mostlikely
true to a degree. Known as an experience woodmans, Frank rode for four years
with the guerrillas as many States were crossed in the saddle.

One of the most remarkable historical revelation came after the Northfield robbery. Only two had escaped and made their way from Northfield. Frank James, or brotherJesse were never captured after Northfield ( 1876 ).

Frank James was not one to fall victim to entrapment, his war time experience prevented the James Gang from capture many times over.

Absence from Missouri, the young Ford boys made their move, and succeeded in
the Killing of Jesse James. As news came to all, the end of Jesse James was now
known unto all. Bowling Browder knew his death was real, as his insight to who
the "Brains of the gang" was given. The State of Missoui had won round one, as
Frank James, Leader of the James-Younger gang prepared to surrender and win round two.
