Shinning Stars

Outside in the night, gazing at the stars

if each were a veteran, each hero so far

as each one sparkle's in it's glow

sending greetings to those below

many formations, some old some new

sending messages all can view

a spacious theater of imaginations

which can be seen by all the Nation's

a smiling hero, a waving hand

footprints walking in the sand

a sailing ship, the Southern cross

seeing things once thought were lost

the more one stares the more they'll see

powerful images in our galaxy 

each one there in space so deep

watching, protecting us as we sleep

 favorite stars one shall find

you'll know which ones, recognizing there signs

peace and freedom shinning so bright

offered to all each and every night
