OLD FRIENDS

(CLASS OF 60)

Old friends new faces

arriving this day from distant places

together again after many years

Sharing their story's sharing some tears

Handshakes, hug's again at last

friends together from the past

laughing, joking, many not changed

a shining spotlight, reliving their frames

 Young at heart, never too old

Listening to all the adventures  told

Many retired and doing so well

Others still working, but happy as hell

Good times and bad have faced us all

So many arrived this summer before fall

A prayer was said for those departed

Some who's life's never got started

So my friends, it went by so fast

 This June 2000 the memories will last

Our 40th reunion brought all together

And the class of '60 will live forever
