Years of sharing, words and thoughts

Internet writings about wars they had fought

one place dusk the other dawn

two proud veterans, one special bond

Strangers once, in two distant lands

now have shaken each others hand

embracing each other with joy and tears

telling their stories, sharing the cheer

Poetry in motion reciting aloud

words of wisdom, words spoken proud

speaking of customs, their different ways

now bonded in friendship, forever and a day

Memories of past now memories so new

lasting a lifetime, truer than true

another meeting will come along soon

for two best friends, Bushranger and Boon

It was a great honor to meet Tony in the Mountains of Vermont, Because of work obligations

only was able to spend a few hours with him. Those few hours I will never forget because of the inspiration

and support he has given me over the past years which as enabled me to put my words on paper

rather then keep them bottled up inside. This was truly "A Miracle In White River"
