Left In A Bottle

Embedded deep inside the horrors of war

memories not to be shared....kept hidden 

they tear my soul, my soul alone

 sharing would only sadden those around me

not wanting to touch those who are innocent 

exposing them to what's killing me

this weight carried alone will someday lighten

this constant pain attacking from inside

staying sealed in my bottle, my mind

when the day comes, when the bottle break's

I shall be free of it's pain

I shall be free for all eternity...
