Freedom Bound ?

Seldom do I like to bring politics into any conversation, cause that and religion goes against the grain of most folks. But I will make an exception this time due entirely to the farce of this election. I question the validity of Choice. I also question the meaning of Popular vote, In other words how much say do we really have as the Working class Americans?

As seen and demonstrated by our Electoral College , we hold about as much power in the vote as a bucket without a bottom holds water.

I know you are gonna say we have the right to vote, and I agree with you. But to what end do we gain anything when the real choice lies in the hand of Idiots.

OK so call me what you will, I know we have a House of Representives, even so I just do not remember being asked my opinion on the last tax increases we had. Taxation without representation is unheard of 'Eh? Uh Huh and if wishes were horses beggars would ride.

OK, it's just my point of view anyway, it don't mean nuthin no how.

Freedom to protect
Freedom to accept
Freedom to reject

Freedom with representation
Freedom with unjust taxation
Freedom taken silently away
By leaders of a sleeping nation

There's an old saying
We Americans often use
Time to wake up and smell the Roses
If You Snooze You Lose !

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness
But if we fail to stand our ground,
And fail to exercise our God given rights
We may all be freedom bound!

In other words Bound By our Freedom!
