Procedures for replacing your Start-Up and Shut-Down Screens Each screen has its own distinct file name and they are as follows: Start-Up Screen file is located in the Root Directory ( ie. C:\ ) and is named "logo.sys" Wait Screen file is located in your Windows Directory ( ie. C:\Windows ) and is named "logow.sys" Shut-Down Screen file is located in your Windows Directory ( ie. C:\Windows ) and is named "logos.sys" Depending on which one you want to replace you will first need to move the ORIGINAL FILE to a Temporary Directory where you can retrieve it at a later time. Then just copy the file you have downloaded to the appropriate directory. There are three screens on my Queensryche Page and each one has a different file name so you may have to change the file name to whichever one you want it to be ( as described above ). I cannot stress enough that you should keep the ORIGINAL FILE and it would also help if you kept this ReadMe file also. If you aren't sure you now how to properly replace your screens please don't try. If you need further assistance or have any comments please feel free to contact me at marcy@foto.infi.net
