Snowshoeing

These are some of the things I like to do outdoors.
The snowshoeing trail

On a beautiful February day like this it doesn't take much coaxing to get me away from the computer.  Walking down this trail brings back a lot of memories. My son got his first deer not far from here, warm fall days hunting ruffed grouse, cold winter days hunting snowshoe hare and just the many enjoyable hours we've spent here. The sunsets on a cold November day during deer season waiting patiently for that big buck are something no one should miss. Today we're snow shoeing just to get out of the house and away from the computer screen for awhile. There are so many deer tracks, I think they will come through the winter in good shape this year. If we don't get any real heavy snow's.

Watchin deerI got an unexpected bonus when I stopped here for a break, right out through those low trees. A group of about ten deer came by on a trail over near the swamp. That was exciting, they look in pretty good shape too, for this late in the winter. Well this has been fun but now its time to get back to work.
