Sunday: Easter Celebrations

This year's Easter Egg hunt involved an orienteering course - all planned to the last detail by Craig from Gothenburg - although he had never seen the place (or potential bogs) before planning the route! To confuse the Easter bunnies further, he gave them a clue story about low-flying crows and pig's noses composed in Swedified English. Well done, Craig!

At about 6.30am Craig and I got up to act as Easter Bunnies and run about 7 kilometres around the countryside to lay eggs. Craig did most of our talking, I did all of our puffing! A lovely, quiet Sunday morning, we were quite thrilled at being out early in the snow with loads of Elk tracks - but no Elk encounters.

We sent the two groups off after breakfast - they had a lot of work to do and got lost several times (especially when we had placed the eggs in the wrong place). We were there to hold their hands, although I expect Craig helped his team more than I did mine!

Wow, that must be a really big Easter bunny!

Turning Scandinavian: We told them to look each other in the eye when "skaaling" (not staring!).

After the fabulous Swedish Easter lunch, we had a huge rush of energy and felt a compulsion to dance (nothing to do with the alcohol, of course)

There is nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon than a bit of limboing

They used to go tramping. Now they go to country huts and dance instead

Book us to dance at your next party!

Presents!!! Followed by a sauna and plenty of mafia!
