Fridd Farm Fun

Again this year, we were so lucky to have Easter Bunnies (Craig, Piet and Tina) to run out and hide eggs for an Easter Egg hunt. There we were, in the Welsh scenery, looking for landmarks such as sheep's afterbirth and stone wall after stone wall. Perhaps we disturbed a few new-born Easter lambs that morning, but we were certainly a lot more disturbed by the Welsh farmer who in some sort of weird Kiwi-way had a long, warm and friendly, but completely incomprehensible chat to us about wind, weather and new-born lambs.

Off to find Easter Eggs!

Paulina found a hole in the wall

Ulrike is getting the chocolate while Diana is carrying out some sort of a sadist act on her.

1-2-3: Look puzzled!

Polish country woman

Just follow the wall (??which one?!)

So innocent and white - Beware of sheep shaggers, dear friends...

... could be a dangerous place with both OZs and Kiwis about...

An Easter Rhyme (by Jenn and team)

We all met at Cambridge
at Tina and AJ's place.
We're all cozy so we slept
all in that one place.

Diana brought her German cold
to share with all her mates.
The only cure for German colds
is a case of Speights!

Off we went to Wales
led by AJ's great big truck.
Katharina and Klaus got a bed
so that they could _______.

We all climbed Mt. Snowdon
and nobody went splat.
But on the way back home,
Cindy got a flat.

Easter Sunday morning,
Bunnies Tina, Craig and Piet.
Angry sheep and afterbirth and
little lambs to eat.

So here we are together,
old friends and new.
Coughing, stinking, farting --
it's great to see all of you.

Happy Easter!!!

Then a MAD football game with slopes, rocks, ancient stone walls and 18 players!

... and a cuppa tea accompanied by piano music in the top shed.

Around the table in the main barn

...and everybody taking turns scoffing their food!

Hours of fun with the hole in the door (you had to stick your finger through)

...or look through the hole first...

And who is the lucky guest?

Happy faces (not necessarily meaning pretty)

The viking is going mad to "My Bonnie is over the Ocean"

The wrapping was the most innovative this time - all old scrap and packaging paper

Easter Bunnies! (Group behaviour is a really strange phenomenon).

Inflatable sheep...

... and its lucky owner (has just discovered the hole - surely a virgin in this matter)

Arrh!! It's sooo real!

Someone else's present got a lot of attention as well - favourite sexual positions cards (

Time to leave - Bye Sanu!

Jenn, Helene, Diana, Micki

Katarine, Cindy, Deike

Piet and Sanu

Tina,Paulina, Piet, Sanu

All of us in a pile!

Hitting the road, but hopefully no sheep or sharp rocks!

A stop in Shrewsbury

And a last sightseeing stop in Ironbridge

Monday, going back... see you next year in Sweden!
