After another very good German breakfast, we pack up a massive picnic and get the bikes ready for a major expedition - we are going out of the country! All the way to Holland - to play minigolf!

There are no bikes left in town!

4 x Stoa Schissa Koarls

- I'm not too sure, but I think this may be the border to Holland...

River Crossin' and all!
We cross safely into Holland and don't even notice it. After a little warmer HAPS HAPS HAPS NU SKAL VI HA' SNAPS- a Baileys in a bikeshed in a quiet Dutch town, we do another (not so OUTC) river crossing (by ferry) and find a nice picnic spot for our massive lunch.

Prost! Skaal! Cheers!

I like this restaurant

Just making it a bit more challenging...

The Mexican Wave!

No! I never laughed at anyone!

We deserve a little beer!
Everyone even survived the minigolf. We then headed back to Germany on the bikes to have a BBQ and enjoy the local brew DIEBELS - and get ready for some serious MAFIA!

For a BBQ you need: a BBQ and a hairdryer to get it started

Great to be here!

The German Easter breakfast is really delicious and by now, we really 'haben uns alle lieb'! Unfortunately, Craig and Micki and Jenn and Carrie are leaving today - both of my digital camera photographers are going! (but more Easter eggs for the rest of us! hihi!).

Everyone is very excited: THE present game is coming up before our early leavers take off. The objective of the game is to bring something from home, something that is dear to you, that reminds you of home or of New Zealand: I am lucky.. I end up with a DIBELS and a DIEBELS glass. Tino ends up with AJ's contribution to the game: A half-eaten jar of Marmite!

We jump on the bikes again to go into ... Kevlaear, I think it is called ... because here, Merchthild und Rudolf to gives us a fantastically guided tour around the old pilgrim sites, the big catholic church and chapel. We eat icecream and sit in the sun.

Easter breakfast!

Delicious!

Kevlaear downtown!

The youngest first in the Easter Egg hunt! See what happens!
At home on the farm, the Allofs family is preparing this year's grand Easter Egg Hunt in the garden with lots and lots of people. Unfortunately, the youngest goes first (Diana), and she raids the garden completely before us old people can even get out of the door.

Plenty of chocolate!

-and then, a German Easter Feast
The German Easter Feast contained various forms of bread and delicious sausages ... and of course a PLATT-Deutsch story rhyme told by Franz and a Korn schnapps to help you understand it better! Prost!

Father and son

Our Great Hosts: Elisabeth and Franz - Cheers!
After a game of ultimate frisbee to digest the whole Easter Feasting, we get ready for the big bonfire (I mean BIG!) at the neighbours' place. We bake bread on the stick, drink beer and sing a few songs. It's been a great day - and a great Easter!

ONE LAST QUIZ:

Who is Kiwi and who is German?
