THIS taser will not cause enough harm to deter the common thief or evil-doer, these devices may actually be illegal in some states, and never take these things to school, its pointless and you will just get in trouble anyway.
PARTS LIST:
disposable camera, or an old camera, make sure it has a flash and nobody will mind if you scrap it.
a good scrap bin, something that has alot of capaciters and again, make sure that nobody will mind you taking anything out of it.
one momentary "on" button
a switch thats big enough to handle the voltage we are working with.
some small wire, (insulated)
some househould wire (used in the walls of your house)
a container to put it in, i used an altoids can
electrical tape
batery holder, the same amount of voltage that the camera originally used (this can be made bigger, most use 3 volts (2 AA's) I have tried 9 volts, it just charges faster, if that is what you want, go for it)
CONSTRUCTION PLANS:
okay, take the camera and scrap everything in it exept for the flash and electronics, make sure you dont break anything
find the voltage of the capaciter, and the uf. The one that I have im my camera has 330 volts and 180 uf, and from past experiences I know that that amount, when fully charged, will send shivers down your spine and leave you cold for, like, 30 minutes.
If your capaciter is less than 400 volts and 200 uf take some capaciters from that scrap bin and solder them to the other
capaciter in series, like so.......
then stick a switch and momentary switch in so that you have to flip the switch on to charge it and then use the momentary
switch to actually give someone a jolt. Mine just used a switch so that if anyone touched the contacts while the switch was on it would jolt them.
dont forget to take that battery holder and attach it to the old battery leads
you may have noticed that the picture says "these leads go to metal plates" those metal plates are on the ends of the box that you put all the electronics in, they are used as the contacts to give someone a jolt. I used an "altoids" container for my taser. And I also deviated from the plans by using household wire as the contacts, here are some pics, one, of me lining the box with insulative tape, the other two, of the taser opened and closed. (I shortened the prongs after taking the picture)
