Press Release Date: August 1, 2000 Contact Person: Release Date: Immediate The Board of Directors of OUTART and Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO) announce that this year's art exhibit will be featured at IAO Gallery and will be a juried show from October 6-28. "I am so excited about this," says OUTART board member Mark Maxey. "This represents a major milestone, not only for our festival, but for the participating artists. To have the exhibition in a regionally recognized gallery such as IAO is prestigious for the gay and lesbian community."Shirley Blaschke, director of IAO says, Richard Ray Whitman and Patrick Riley have agreed to be jurors.
