Welcome to the GSEU-Reform page. This is not the official GSEU/CWA 1104 site. This is not an anti-union site. We believe that to become a stronger, more active union, GSEU needs to change, starting with removing many of the officers who supposedly represent us. We also believe that GSEU needs to do more to educate its members about workers' rights and internal union functioning, and must improve its record in enforcing the contract. We hope that this site helps set in motion some of these reforms. More pages will be added in the near future, but read on, visit often, and recommend the site to others. We especially encourage members and officers to participate in the Discussion Board.
Members from the Communications Division and Operator Services Division of CWA 1104: We are focused on changing elements in the Education Division of the local. But we need support from all three divisions and will support any efforts to energize the whole local. If you like, we can create a space on this site and on the Discussion Board for your issues.
