I picked this album up a couple weeks ago off of ebay.  This is the band's third release and their first with their new vocalist Glenn Hasen and the breakup of the Three Tony's (Tony Bono, Tony Scaglione, and Tony Portaro).  In many parts of the album, it sounds like a typical thrash album with songs like Voice of Sanity, Insult to Injury, and Essence of Evil, but in others it sounds more like Realm or Agent Steel.  Nevertheless, it's a great thrash album.  The lineup on this one isn't according to the original, I guess, so if yours says something different, it's just because mine is newer I guess.  Shortly after this,
Whiplash disbanded until the '90s when in 1996 they released "Cult of One" with a new lineup.

Bassist Tony Bono died in 2002 of a heart attack at the age of 38.
