| Following In Flames closely is KoRn, the rad band of the '90s. Some people call me biased to nu metal, but that's not the case. I simply have a nose for really bad music, and KoRn fall into the category of the Top 10 Worst Metal bands of today. I was watching VH1's 20 greatest bands or something like that and I think KoRn were like 10th. What did they do, go to a KoRn concert or some other nu crap gathering and ask what they thought the best bands were? KoRn are far from being great. Yeah, they DID revolutionize music. They turned good music into downtuned, distorted crap. And on top of that, all the vocalist does is scream words into the microphone as if we can't hear him. And on top of their shitty music, who came up with the name, someone from the short bus? They used a K instead of a C and reversed the R to make it look as if an idiot from the special ed room tried spelling out 'corn.' It isn't enough that the kid couldn't spell his own name and then they asked him to try out a big word like 'corn.' Oh wait, it says right here that they thought up of it themselves. Hm...I didn't know that. That explains everything. |
