QZ's Twinn Adventures
This is out trip to the local town fair. It is also our 100 year anniversary. We have been here longer then that but we only became official in 1903.We brought Posy's best friend who brought her Twinn as well. A wonderful time was had by all :)
LOTS of pics- so be prepared for a long load time!

Well CiCi and her friends caught the bus- but we missed it and had to wait for the next one :P
Posy and M had matching outfits. We'd originally purchased them to wear for the school twin day- but they had wacky hair day instead. I made matching Twinn Capri's and Georgie wore a pair of swap jeans :)

Everyone is so well behaved. Georgie admired the passing greenery while I admired her reflection .

First stop - the booksale for the library.
We did not have a lot of time to look and may go back tomorrow when they are really on sale!
Tadaaaaaa! The performing Matching Girls!
Of course we had to make a quick stop to play on the new playground equipment.

It rained off and on so the girls spent some of the time waiting with me under the tent.
. Posy went in the haunted house and teased them for being such 'sugar cubes' and afraid of the rain :B

"Oh yeah? We will show you how brave WE are!"

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"I'm diiizzzzyyyy!" :"Me too!" "Not me! Where to now?!?!"

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"
(Nobody seemed to mind the pouring rain or the soaking wet pants! :B )

Now the moment Posy was waiting for! She and M had a race to the top
-and of course my little Monkey Girl won !
Note the wet hinies from the Yo-Yo ride :B

"We can't look!"
EVERYBODY thought the harnesses were just tooo tooo stylish :B

They admired the pom pom pet marionettes while QZ admired the brass butterflies. Georgie was trying to convince me to buy the little umbrellas with the whistle attached.
I don't THINK so Georgie!

Yes yes yes! We found DOLLS! Hehehehhe!

M- of all people- had to buy a small Indian doll for her Twinn :B
Yes! Another convert!

Spinning the wheel- M won a year subscription to the local small paper and Posy won 4 tickets to the local professional baseball team game :)

Then we stopped by the Masonic temple to see the historical exhibit.

There is a 100 year celebration quilt going around and
we all did some of the stitching to be a part of the town history.
I was so pleased to see it here- it is traveling around the county but as yet was not in any of the places we could get to :) My family has been in this town for at least 40 years- maybe more :)

Then we went for a snack- soup and ice cream :)
Posy and M show the girls how to eat their *soup* with chopsticks.
(The lady who owns it is a friend of mine and cracked UP at that! :B

Telling them what talented girls they are- they picked it up right away!

While the rest of us finished SOME people were bored and dinked around
while Miss Georgie was a lady and sat quietly in her chair :)
Here she is taking off her sweater.

Here is CiCi watching her boyfriend trying the  'Dunk a Scout' fundraiser.

The girls *insisted* on getting fire hats. They wanted to climb on the Fire engines but Posy and M had their hands full already with the signs and ice cream and the goodies from the info booths.

They won! The girls were so suprised they fell over :B

Hustling to the bus stop- luckily that was not our bus!

Almost home- Georgie and Josie are wiggling all over- they had such a good time-
they can't wait to get home and tell the other girls about it!

*Whew* !! What a FUN day!!!
:))

More coming soon!
