On October 21, 2006, we will raise money at the 1st Annual Lacie�s Legacy Walk at Carroll Valley Park in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, in memory of Lacie Wivell. We need your help with this important fundraising effort. We will not only be walking to raise funds to help fight these diseases, but also to raise awareness about Tay-Sachs and allied genetic diseases, many of which are fatal in early childhood. All proceeds from the walk will be donated to NTSAD to support Research, Education, and Prevention of these devastating diseases.
The National Tay Sachs and Allied Disease Association (NTSAD) receives no government funding. NTSAD�s doors stay open thanks to the generosity of our circle of friends�a circle that must widen to meet the growing demands to prevail against these devastating diseases. With your help, we can continue to provide funding for Research, Education, and Prevention that is needed until all of the allied diseases are gone. That should be our history.
The entry fee to participate in the walk is $10.00 per person. The walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be approximately 1 mile around the park�s fitness trail.
