The Ouroborus ?

The Ouroborus is an ancient symbol and its true meaning has been lost in the mists of time. Many people have one view of it or another but in reality the serpent is the sumerian dragon Tiamat and it represents the whole of earth and time. Anything inside the circle is finite. that includes the realm we live in and all of the works of man. Anything outside of the circle is omnipotent and Godlike and can effect change easily over anything on the inside. The serpents body represents time symbolising that time is circular and the further you go in one direction the closer you get to the other. It was sometimes later depicted surrounding a tree which was the tree of life. just an added emphasis on the meaning of the inner world.
If you think that makes sense have a think about just what early christian theologians were telling you about the serpent in the tree in the garden of eden.
Did you realise that Edin is the sumerian word that means plain or field.
just a coincedence huh. ??
