Isaac "Ike" HOSEY's 1/2 sister was
FANNIE HOSEY who married
Isaac Monroe CRAIG Sr.
The HOSEY, CRAIG and DePRIEST family followed a side-by-side migration pattern from Jasper County, Mississippi to Polk County, Arkansas and on to Creek County, Oklahoma where many are buried side-by-side in the HOSEY Family Cemetery...about 9 miles north of Paden, Oklahoma. Gerald Erwin CRAIG & Murphy Floyd CRAIG Jr. are grandsons of Fannie HOSEY sister to Isaac "Ike" HOSEY.
William C. GREER is the brother to Dorothy "Dot" Jane GREER CURRY and children of
Loy S. GREER & Cora Adeline WRIGHT GREER. Cora Adeline WRIGHT is daughter of
Cyreneus Judge WRIGHT & Jane P. HOSEY WRIGHT who is daughter of Isaac "Ike" HOSEY & Harriet Adeline DePRIEST HOSEY

Fannie HOSEY CRAIG is the grandmother to Gerald Edwin CRAIG and Murphy Floyd CRAIG, Jr. and 1/2 sister to Isaac "Ike" HOSEY.

HOSEY CEMETERY

Paden, Creek County, Oklahoma

Directions: At Paden, OK turn north at Post Office, go 9 miles (black top ends approx 4 miles) to a Y in road, turn West 1/2 mile, turn North and go 1 mile, turn left, go approx. 50 yards, turn right. Cemetery is on right hand side of dirt road.

Birth date on headstone is incorrect, it should be September..as per family note. Pleasant Irvin CRAIGs son, Isaac Monroe Craig was married to Fannie HOSEY CRAIG. Fannie HOSEY CRAIG was the daughter of Hezkiah Kay Hosey (Sr) and his 3rd wife Nancy Jane Grantham. He served in the Civil War: Alabama Company "C" 49th Infantry

Husband of Harriet Jane DePRIEST HOSEY and son of Hezekiah "Kay" HOSEY (Sr.) and his second wife Martha "Patsy" TERRAL.

"Isaac HOSEY died suddenly after eating too much ice cream in a contest." Quote from Jane P. HOSEY WRIGHT, daughter.

Beaulah CRAIG DePRIEST, wife John Franklin Frank DePRIEST (son of John Hines DePRIEST and grandson of Alexander D. DePRIEST), daughter of Isaac Monroe CRAIG and Fannie HOSEY CRAIG. Beaulah died giving birth to infant daughter, Janette, who is buried with her in the same coffin.
