The other things that are involved are publicity in which case it is necessary to find the various ways to help people know that the groups exist and what they have to offer. There is an explanation of what each group is since I have a large number of groups, people sometimes don't want to be bothered to post things to the correct group. They might argue that they belong to a certain group and they don't want to keep on joining other groups and it is necessary to explain the group policy in this way. After all, if everybody would post to a single group then there would be no need for a multiplicity of groups. There are always those people who point out that on other groups that they belong to the policy is different and indeed since my groups are run differently it is necessary for me to explain how it is different and how they�re going to have to follow the guidelines for my groups or our groups rather than for other groups. This can be difficult because people don't like to hear no, they don't like to know that there is a group that has different guidelines. However, this is necessary in order to maintain the standards that I have set for these groups and I am indeed quite strict about this. In some cases people become very indignant or difficult to deal with in which case it might be necessary to simply tell them that this group is not for them that a particular group is not for them and to recommend that they simply unsubscribe because they will not find satisfaction in the group. This has happened on quite a number of occasions and it is the final word that needs to be said.
The publicity is a constant issue. It means putting out the names on as many other websites and search engines and listings and whatnot as possible. It means writing constant articles for many other places. It means contacting and being in touch with many other groups which are similar to mine and occasionally posting messages. The message might include a small comment saying that they can join my group. It means having people contact me on an individual basis or by referral and asking in which case they might ask me to contact them to and in so doing after lengthy correspondence it is possible that I will gain another subscriber.
